"The Woodchipper!" is the 808th episode of SML Movies.
Synopsis[]
There was a woodchipper accident!
Plot[]
Junior brings a new kid named Tyler to his house to replace Joseph. Junior suggests that the three could play catch, and they go outside to play. Once outside, Cody notices a woodchipper in the front yard and questions why it was there. Junior tells him that it was there in case ''wanted to chop wood''. Tyler tells Cody to throw the ball over and he does that. He gets whacked in the face with the ball and falls in the woodchipper, which he gets ended up shredded in pieces. Cody and Junior check on him, only to see his remains.
The two rush back inside. Realizing the trouble they were going to be in, Junior and Cody begin to panic. Junior starts to blame Cody, accusing him of throwing the ball near the woodchipper on purpose. They both ultimately decide to keep quiet about the incident and the two go to get something to eat.
Brooklyn Guy, doing his mundane patrol, notices and questions the woodchipper outside. He almost ignores it until he sees Tyler's remains near the machine. Brooklyn Guy then heads for the nearby house, Junior's, and knocks on the door. The two friends are snacking on a Hillshire-brand serve, before Junior goes to answer the door. Brooklyn Guy questions Junior on the wood chipper hanging out on the curb, and Junior's suspicious answers prompt Brooklyn to enter the home for further questioning. Junior nervously makes up the story of a stray squirrel entering the wood chipper hence the pile of gore near it. Brooklyn believes this and then asks Cody to corroborate the story, with the latter narrowly avoiding suspicion by repeating the story with a nervous tone. Eventually, Brooklyn Guy leaves the two, albeit sticking around for a bit to keep an eye on them. Junior and Cody flee to the playroom and play the board game Gobble Monsters to take their mind off Tyler and the wood chipper. Cody, thinking the name of the game referring to a sexual activity, is slightly disappointed.
At the police station, Tyler's mom tearfully visits Brooklyn Guy and Simmons to report her son missing. Brooklyn Guy questions her, asking if she's taken away Tyler's video games or at the very least has a picture of Tyler. Tyler's mom shows Guy a picture of Tyler, and Brooklyn asks some more rather vague questions—to which Tyler's mom gives some vague answers— to piece together what happened to Tyler as he went missing. Eventually, Brooklyn Guy and Tyler's mom head back to the wood chipper in front of Junior's house and investigate the remains next to it. Brooklyn Guy brings up the possibility of Tyler being the alleged "squirrel" that crawled into the wood chipper, which makes Tyler's mom break down crying. Brooklyn Guy tries to calm her down and goes back into Junior's house to confirm the suspicion.
Having just finished their game of Gobble Monsters, Junior and Cody are sitting on the couch and are met with Brooklyn Guy yet again. After a bunch of inconsistent stories Junior tells to throw off Brooklyn Guy, the latter brings up that a DNA test that proved the gore outside is in fact Tyler's. With nowhere else to turn, Cody confesses that they have caused Tyler's death, but Junior denies it, trying to pin it solely on Cody, with him trying to explain that the whole mess was an accident. Nonetheless, Brooklyn Guy reveals that he made up having made the DNA test to get a confession out of the two, with him mocking them childishly. The police officer places the two boys under arrest, with Cody being the cause of Tyler's murder and Junior for lying about the crime multiple times.
Just then, Tyler enters the scene just before Brooklyn Guy can arrest Junior and Cody. In disbelief, Junior and Cody question how Tyler survived, and he reveals he faked his own death only because his mother wouldn't let him visit Chuck-E-Cheeses. At the time, Tyler used a teddy bear and some red food coloring to make it look like he was slaughtered by the wood chipper when really he escaped unscathed and unnoticed to head to Chuck-E-Cheeses... And, he eventually returned after finding out he had no money. This puts Junior and Cody in the clear, but now Tyler is getting arrested for faking his death, causing a public nuisance, and "making [Brooklyn Guy] look silly". Oh, and having a potty mouth after the boy mutters "shit" to the arrest.
With Junior and Cody left alone, Cody rejoices in not having killed Tyler, to which Junior suggests this as Cody admitting he would have been the culprit if Tyler had died. After a bit of an argument, the episode ends after Junior laments on why he has a wood chipper and how much he misses Joseph.
