"The School Dance!" is the 494th episode of SML Movies.
Synopsis[]
Junior and his friends are going to the school dance!
Plot[]
Jackie Chu announces a school dance and introduces the class to his conjoined daughters Ping and Pong. Cody asks Ping and Pong out for extra credit, and Joseph reveals he's going out with Sprinkle. Jackie Chu also introduces another new student, Maria Sanchez, who Junior considers asking out since all his friends have dates. Junior asks her out, but she says she'd rather die. Later at home, Junior feels bad and asks Chef Pee Pee if he'd like to go with him dressed as a hot girl. Chef Pee Pee is reluctant, but eventually Junior convinces him to go. Later that night at the dance, the class is dancing as Junior walks in with Chef Pee Pee, who Cody and Joseph immediately recognize. Junior doesn't give the disguise up and pretends Chef Pee Pee is a girl named Shannon. Junior dances with Shannon to make Maria jealous. It doesn't work and Chef Pee Pee leaves after being creeped out about doing romantic activities with an 11-year-old. Junior then walks off depressed as Maria is taken by Roy Gethard, the so-called "Coolest kid in school". Roy also takes all the other's girlfriends, and they go home upset about it. As Junior comes home, he finds out that Roy had also taken Chef Pee Pee. Then Jr starts yelling in terror and misery off-screen.

- This episode marks the first appearances of Sprinkle and Judy in 2020, and is Sprinkle’s first appearance since Cody’s New Family and Judy’s first appearance since The Cover Up!.
- 4th Wall Break: The character Roy Gethard is based on someone Chilly was supposedly dating at the time; although there isn’t any evidence surrounding the situation.
- This is the third time Chef Pee Pee dresses up as a girl. The first being in "Mother's Day!" and "Mario's Beautiful Date!".
- This video marks the first appearance of The Human Puppets in 2020.
- This video is a continuation of "The Human Potion!".
- This video was uploaded ten days after the previous one.
- This is the longest gap between videos since the gap between "Bowser Junior's AirPods!" and "Jeffy's Pet Shark!" with a gap of eighteen days.
- Joseph and Sprinkle are still together, though it's possible he cheated on her in "The Imaginary Girlfriend!" when he dated a drawing of a girl.
- A possible reason why Junior and friends are puppets is that the day this was uploaded is the last day to get them on sale.
- This marks the first absence of Brooklyn T. Guy in 2020, breaking his 18-video streak.
- It is rumored Chilly bought tickets to the Super Bowl to go with Roy, as shown by the presence of a Super Bowl ticket.
- This is the last SML video to feature the Human Puppets until "Jeffy's New Friend!".
- Chef Pee Pee is revealed to be at least 30 years old, when he is actually 29, as he was confirmed to be 26 in "Chef Pee Pee's Birthday Surprise!".
- The conjoined twins Ping and Pong were first seen in a Chilly vlog where Logan opened up a package with new puppets that Logan might use in the future.
- This episode reveals that Tyrone and Judy don't want Cody to be straight and want him to stay gay.

- This episode is supposed to be the Valentine's Day special 2020, even though it was uploaded 2 days late.

- Junior rapped lines from Juice WRLD's 2018 song, "All Girls Are the Same", after he got rejected. It is further referenced when Junior mentions the title of the song to Bowser.
- Joseph also sang the song in "The Imaginary Girlfriend!".
- When Chef Pee Pee asks what kind of person a girl would go to a dance with a 30-year-old, Junior answers, "That guy from Subway". This is a reference to Jared Fogle, a former spokesperson for Subway who was known for losing 245lbs (111kg) by eating Subway sandwiches and was later arrested for being a pedophile.
- Additionally, this video also reveals that Chef Pee Pee does not like Subway and says that Firehouse Subs is his favorite sandwich shop.
- He was also later referenced in The Hostage Situation when Brooklyn T. Guy was asking the kidnappers of his family to kill them, and Brooklyn T. Guy mentioned how their family had similar worth as him.

- At 3:56, Lovell's nose is seen for a split second.
- At 4:06, Lance's face and Lovell's chin can be seen next to Joseph's.
- At 0:35, Junior's voice sounds much different than usual, and it is possible that it is a different actor, presumably Noah.
