Main

Tanner is a minor character in the SuperMarioLogan series. He serves as a supporting character in the Summer School series.

Personality

Despite being a Shy Guy, he is very mean, and he likes to insult people at school. He likes to bully Cody, either calling him "four eyes," or beating him up. He also doesn't like taking tests and in Bowser Junior's Summer School 5, pulls the fire alarm to avoid taking a test. He also likes to bully Paul, calling him no arms. He thinks failing is cool. It is unknown what happened to Tanner after he appeared at Summer School. He only appeared in Bowser Junior’s Cellphone and the Summer School series. He is considered a classic character of the series.

He and Joseph are seen to be friends in episodes such as Bowser Junior's Cellphone.

Bowser Junior

Tanner seems to be good friends with Bowser Junior, thinking he is cool like Joseph.

Cody

Usually, he bullies Cody by calling him a nerd and four eyes. Cody thinks that's a medical disorder.

Trivia

He pulled the fire alarm and reintroduced Brooklyn T. Guy in "Bowser Junior's Summer School 5".
In the first episode of Bowser Junior's Summer School, Tanner is played by Lovell. However, in the following episodes of the series, he is played by Lance. The reason behind it is currently unknown, but It is possible that Lovell couldn’t play Tanner.
Bully Bill can be seen as the replacement of Tanner due to them both being enemies from the Mario franchise that have been portrayed as bullies. They both also tend to pick on one specific person and call them a name. Tanner calls Paul "no arms" and Bully Bill calls Jeffy "retard". Also, after the Nintendo Incident, it is unlikely he’ll ever return due to Logan being prohibited from using his plush since it is in reference to Nintendo, and Logan cannot use the plushies to comply with the cease and desist order. Unless Logan designs a human puppet version of him and possibly makes him Bully Bill’s friend/partner with them having similar characteristic traits, then he won’t return in videos.
Cody replaced him as being Junior's other friend.
He was the second of 6 best friends of Junior. The others being Cody, Jeffy, Toad, Junior, and Joseph, even though Tanner has never seen Jeffy.
In Cody The Movie Star!, Joseph asks if Cody can record a video for his friend Tanner. This is a different Tanner mentioned because Joseph states that he's 7 and he was a fan of Cody.
He was the first character in the SML franchise to coin the catchphrase that Junior and Joseph use on Cody in more recent SML videos "Four eyes."
