"Scooter's Birthday!" is the 522nd episode of SML Movies.

Synopsis

It's Scooter's birthday!

Plot

Junior and Joseph are eating white Reeses. Joseph thinks that it's racist. Junior opens the front door to reveal Scooter. He says that it is his birthday. Upstairs, Junior tells Joseph that it's Scooter's birthday. They decide to do a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. On the news, Goodman says that Chuck E. Cheese's has now gone bankrupt (meaning that it ran out of money) after 43 years. Junior and Joseph recoil. Scooter had no idea what "bankrupt" meant. They try to find a way to give Chuck E. Cheese's a bunch of money so they can no longer be bankrupt. Chef Pee Pee is cooking broccoli, cheese, and mustard soup. Junior and Scooter arrive in the kitchen and ask Chef Pee Pee how many zeros he has in his bank account. Junior then tells him that Chuck E. Cheese's is going bankrupt. Chef Pee Pee says that he is broke so the plan fails.

Upstairs, Joseph asks Junior if Chef Pee Pee gave him the money and Junior says no. Scooter asks what Chuck E. Cheese is. Junior explains it and tells Scooter to change himself. Then they get the idea to invite Richard over so he could buy Chuck E. Cheese. Richard asks what they want. They ask Richard if he has been to Chuck E. Cheese. Richard lies by saying no. He also said that he always goes to Dave & Buster's like an adult. Richard also says that he has an arcade in his mansion. Joseph asks if he and Junior can come to his mansion. Richard says no and tells Joseph to go away. Joseph denies. Richard hands over a $20 bill. Junior asks Richard to buy Chuck E. Cheese and he agrees then asks his dad.

Richard does a loud sigh by saying that his father bought Chuck E. Cheese. A commercial shows Mr. Goodman and his new place called Goodman E. Cheese. Images show a golden pizza and a piece of meat on a grill. His games also withdraw $100 bills instead of coupons. Richard thinks that the commercial is ugly. Richard asks Junior if he sounds like and looks like Goodman. Junior says no. Junior went downstairs. On the dining table, Scooter inflates a balloon. Junior comes to the table and Scooter's pitch has been raised. Upstairs, Scooter covers his eyes multiple times. Junior tells him the surprise.

Inside Goodman E. Cheese, they get ready to have a party and meet Mr. Goodman. Junior asks how much money is it for a birthday party, then Goodman says that it is $1000 per hour. Junior thinks that it is not supposed to be that expensive. Goodman kicks them both out of the building. Outside, Scooter and Junior sneak in through the back door. First, they play skee-ball. Scooter rolls the ball and scores. As Junior attempts to take his turn, Goodman catches them and kicks them out. Next, they play Basketball. Scooter throws the basketball and scores one point. Goodman catches them again. Scooter tries to throw the ball again but Goodman blocks it and kicks Junior and Scooter out again. Next, they play a game where they hit the big red button as hard as they can. Scooter accidentally hits Junior then he hits the button. The meter reaches number 2. Goodman catches them for the 3rd time and kicks them both out. Next, they drop 50 balls into 5 buckets. Scooter drops all of the balls. Goodman catches them for the 4th time and kicks them out again. Finally, they have a cake. The brown icing reads "Happy Buttday Scooter". Junior sings the birthday song rapidly before Goodman notices and catches them. Goodman has had enough and yells extremely loudly at them. Scooter blows out the candles while Goodman tries to stop him.

At home, Junior asks Scooter if he had an awesome birthday. He says that he did and then goes on to say that everyday is his birthday. After a short argument where Junior says it isn't and Scooter says it is, the video ends with Scooter saying he'll see Junior tommorow.

Trivia

• This is the first time Chef Pee Pee and Scooter interact with each other.
• This is the second time a member of the Jeffy-François family appears without Jeffy, the first being "Bowser Junior's Painting!". Coincidentally, both videos have Jeffy's family member, Junior, and Goodman play a major role, Joseph a supporting one, and Chef Pee Pee a minor one.
• This is the first video to feature Scooter without Jeffy and Mario. However, the BTS reveals that they were originally going to appear due to the crew taking them to Chuck E. Cheese's. The intent for them to appear was most likely due to Scooter technically being a relative of theirs.
  • Unfortunately due to the hate the previous video received, Mario and Jeffy were likely removed from this video.
• When Junior said "First, Toys R Us went out of business", it's a callback to "Bowser Junior's Bad News!".
• When Scooter says his birthday is every day, he is similar to Eileen (also known as the Birthday Girl) from WordGirl.
• Running Gag: Junior and Scooter trying many ways to sneak into Goodman E. Cheese’s before Goodman kicks them out.
• This was made during the discussion of Chuck E. Cheese bankruptcy was on the mainstream news, likely giving Logan the idea.
  • Chuck E. Cheese filed for bankruptcy on 6/25/20, it will be closing the majority of its arcades across the nation.
• The frosting on Scooter's cake says "Happy Buttday, Scooter!" Most likely because Scooter is stupid and he and Junior felt rushed due to Goodman not allowing them in the restaurant without paying.
• Logan and Lance’s mother decorated Scooter’s cake, as seen in the behind the scenes vlog.
• This video further shows that Richard and Mr. Goodman don't get along too well. This is likely due to Goodman’s strong cruelty towards Richard and Richard's subconscious attempts to fight back against his father's attempts to corrupt him.
• This episode was uploaded 2 years after "Jeffy's Switcheroo!", 4 years after "The Fishing Trip!", 5 years after "Bowser Junior's Annoying Toy!". 17 years after Wario World was released in North America, 24 years after Super Mario 64 was released in Japan, and 29 years after the release of Sonic The Hedgehog.
• This is the first time that Scooter is having a birthday party because he was born on June 23, possibly 2004 and he was created on March 2, 2018.
• In the BTS video, in the scene where Junior and Scooter were playing the hammer game, Goodman was originally going to get hit by Scooter with the hammer, but it never got used.
• This video is titled "Scooter's Birthday Party!" in the second BTS video.
• There was originally going to be a joke of Richard showing disgust at Joseph being a turtle that can fly.

Errors

• In this video, Richard said he has never been to Chuck E. Cheese. But in "Bowser Junior the Babysitter!", Goodman said he dropped Richard off at Chuck E. Cheese for him to play, it could be continuity errors.
• Even though Chef Pee Pee is in the thumbnail, he didn't get much screen time in the video.
• Goodman called his restaurant a "store" multiple times, though this may be because Goodman is obsessed with business.
• Scooter's birthday is shown to be in June 23 but he was first created in March 2. However, he said his birthday is every day.
