"Stuck in a Tree" is the 15th episode of SML Shorts and the debut of the main character Brooklyn Guy.
Plot[]
Toad was walking around until a cat meowed from a tree. Toad wanted to help the cat, so he climbed up the tree and reached the cat, but he realized that he doesn’t know how to get down and now they are both stuck in the tree, so he tries to think of a way for both of them to get down.
After a while Toad spots Mario walking near the tree and he yells out to him to get his attention and he tells Mario that he is stuck in a tree and when Mario asks why, Toad says that the kitty was stuck so he climbed up to help it because it looked cute and cool. Mario refuses to save Toad and the kitty because he will get stuck too, and he leaves.
Brooklyn Guy is thinking his job is boring when he suddenly hears a noise. Brooklyn Guy checks what is wrong, and he realizes that Toad is stuck in a tree. Brooklyn Guy asks why he is stuck in a tree. Toad explains he just wanted to save the kitty, but he got stuck too.
Brooklyn Guy thinks he is stupid and asks Toad to toss the cat to him. After hesitating Toad tosses Brooklyn Guy the cat and he catches it and puts him down. Brooklyn Guy then tells Toad to do the same and jump down and he will catch him. After reassuring himself Toad jumps off the tree. Brooklyn accidentally didn't catch Toad because he was on a phone with his wife. Toad gets hurt, but then Brooklyn Guy asks what's for dinner. The video ends with a lesson saying that it is more important to save people than making phone calls. However, after that, a tiny clip shows Brooklyn Guy calling his wife if she wants the cat.

Trivia[]
- This video marks the first appearance of Brooklyn T. Guy, but since Pablo didn't become an SML actor until 2014, the Brooklyn Guy was played by Logan’s old friend, Noah, which is why he sounds so different in this episode.
- This is the only 2011 video where Brooklyn Guy is in.
- This video states that Brooklyn Guy's main job is a firefighter.
- At 1:10 into the video, when Mario is seen walking, if one looks closely in Noah's arm (or Logan), the Brooklyn Guy puppet can be seen.
- Even though it is not based on this, this video is similar to the rescue in the Fireman Sam episode, Firefighter of Tomorrow.
- Brooklyn Guy’s mom Barbara Guy mentions the events ten years later in the video Brooklyn Guy's Thanksgiving when she tells him: “You haven’t seen your mother in ten years!”
