Spanky Muniz is the main focus of SML Movie: Air Bud!. He is a small black Labrador Retriever that is allegedly a champion at basketball, just like Air Bud. He seemingly proved himself in a video Junior recorded of Cody bouncing the ball off of his head and into the hoop. He was then found by Brooklyn T. Guy, who immediately recruited him for his team. Unfortunately, he did not live up to his legacy, as he was proven to be lazy and oblivious. Ironically, Brooklyn still had faith in Spanky and criticized the team for not letting Spanky help. Spanky eventually walked out on his team during a huddle, still oblivious.
