The episode starts with Junior, his friends and girlfriend, dressed up as Scooby-Doo characters to practice for Halloween, much to Cody’s confusion. Junior explains it’s because he wants to make sure everyone is dressed right and they’re able to say trick or treat correctly. Junior realizes they don’t have anyone to play Scrappy, so he decides that they should ask Chef Pee Pee to play as him, despite not having a Scrappy-Doo costume.
At the kitchen, Chef Pee Pee is seen, making fried Fruit by the Foot. Junior and his friends then come in as Junior says Hey, but Chef Pee Pee tells him not right now as he says he's busy making fried Fruit by the Foot, which Junior says it sounds yummy but Chef Pee Pee notices their costumes as he asks if they are dressed just like Courage the Cowardly Dog for Halloween but then says they are 5 days early though. Cody tells him that they aren't Courage the Cowardly Dog as he questions what would make him think that, but Cody says he guess he could be Muriel and Junior could be Eustace Bagge but then says that's not what they are doing. Chef Pee Pee then says Joseph is the dog as he notices Josephs costume but Cody says they are Scooby-Doo. Chef Pee Pee then says he's never heard of it but Cody says it's impossible as he says everybody's heard of Scooby-Doo but Chef Pee Pee says he didn't as he explains that he never had a TV growing up. Cody then says that he feels like it still would have gotten around somehow but Chef Pee Pee says "Well, it missed me, it never got around" as he then asks what do they want, which Junior tells him that they want to know if he wants to dress up like Scrappy Doo, which Cody explains that he's like a little Courage the Cowardly Dog who is also a asshole but Chef Pee Pee says no as he says he wants to be Clifford. Cody then says "Oh, you've heard of him, okay yeah, that makes sense", which Chef Pee Pee questions who hasn't heard of Clifford the Big Red Dog, but Cody says they don't have a Clifford costume or a Scrappy-Doo costume as he says he doesn't even know why they are asking him. Junior then tells them to let's go practice saying trick or treat as they then leave the kitchen.
At Mr. Goodman's Mansion, Mr. Goodman says it's good to be a billionaire as he takes a sip, but notices there isn't any drink in his glass, so he yells out for Chives as he tells him to get in, which Chives gets in and asks what is it, which Goodman tells him "Empty, more yummy" as he hands Chives his glass, which Chives says "Very well Sir" as he walks to get more as Goodman rushes him". Chives, now at the kitchen counter, pops open a bottle of Moscato as he is about to pour, but Goodman reminds him about his blindfold as he says he doesn't want his life to be too easy, which Chives proceeds to put his blindfold on as Goodman threatens to beat his ass if he spills his drink but then comes over to watch as Chives struggles to find the bottle of Moscato because of his blindfold, which he tells Chives not to spell it because it's a Papi Rosé 2007 but Chives tells him he can't see because of his blindfold. Goodman doesn't care as he asks if he went to Butler School, but Chives tells him that they didn't teach him what he's currently doing. Goodman still doesn't care as he says that they should of as he then asks if it said that he was the best blindfolded wine pourer on his resume, but Chives tells him that he made it up. Goodman then tells him to start pouring, which Chives then starts pouring while being nervous. Goodman then pulls the glass away as he watches Chives still pouring his wine, which Chives says he thinks he's getting it but Goodman yells at Chives for the big puddle of wine, which Chives says he swears he was pouring it in the glass but Goodman says he's tired of him screwing around as he then tells him to get his ass out in the yard and pick up the gardener shit, which shocks Chives as he asks if the gardener really does shit in the garden, which Goodman says he does as he says that he's not allowed in the house. Chives then leaves feeling disappointed as Goodman yells at him to go as he then calls for Patricia to clean up the mess. Patricia then comes in as she asks if he called for her, which Goodman says he did as he says that it's mess time, which Patricia asks if he wants her back on her lace, but Goodman says that's for yummy time and its currently mess time as he then tells her to clean it. Patricia then asks if he wants her to make a mess with her mouth, but Goodman tells her no as he explains to her what he wants her to do. Patricia then gets it as she goes cleaning while Goodman leaves to check on the gardener to make sure he didn't leave his orange picking ladder under his orange tree. Suddenly, Patrica gets killed offscreen by getting stabbed.
Chives then goes in as he notices that Patricia is killed now, which he screams in fear while Goodman comes in, screaming in anger because Patrica didn't clean the mess as he then tells her that she's fired, and explains to her that it means no more job and bye-bye to her green card but Chives tells him that she's dead from being stabbed in the back. Goodman then says that it means he has to do all of Patrica's jobs, which terrifies Chives as he realizes that means he has to now give him blumpkins and thank yous, which he begs for anything but those as he then says they should call the police, which Goodman says he'll do that while he's going to look up cities in Mexico where he can find a new maid. Chives then gets his phone as he calls 911 to let them know about the murder but Brooklyn Guy doesn't take it seriously as he names Colonel Mustard and Professor Plum as suspects of the murder, which Chives asks if he's playing Clue. Brooklyn Guy says he is as he asks Chives if he's not playing but Chives tells him that there is a dead body at the mansion, and someone has been murdered, which Brooklyn Guy hangs up as he says he will be there. Chives then gets shocked as he hears the doorbell, which he goes to the door to open it, only to be Junior and his friends, dressed in their Scooby Doo costumes, saying trick or treat. Chives gets shocked about this, but Junior tells him that he knows that Halloween isn't till Thursday, but they wanted to practice saying trick or treat, which Cody says that it's only three words. Chives then says he called the cops though as he explains that there has been a murder, which shocks Junior as he says that they solve crimes and says that they are the Mystery Gang, which shocks Chives, but he then lets them in, thinking they are Forensics as he leads them to Patricia's body.
At the kitchen counter, Chives points them to Patricia's body, which shocks Junior and his friends as Junior says "Zoinks Scoob!" while Cody says "Jinkies". Joseph then says "Yaba Daba Doo!" but Code tells him that's The Flintstones and Junior tells him to say it right, which Joseph says "Ruh Roh Riggy". Junior then asks Chives if he has any dog treats for him and Joseph to eat but Chives tells him no. Junior and his friends start investigating, which Timmy Huckerdoo says they should spilt up as Timmy goes with Penelope while Junior stays with Cody and Joseph to investigate, which Cody says he doesn't understand why they are investigating a murder when they should be practicing saying trick or treat, which Junior says they are the Scooby Gang and they can solve murders just like what they do in the show, but Cody tells him that they aren't called the Scooby Gang and they don't solve murders as he explains that it's usually a goofy guy in a mask running around, trying to scare people for Insurance Purposes, which Junior asks him what was the last part he said, which Cody says the last part he said as Junior asks Chives if there is anyone who pulls out life insurance on the woman before she died, which Chives tells him that Goodman did it but he does that for all of his servants. This shocks Junior as asks Chives questions but all lead to nothing, resulting in Junior wanting to leave because he's out of suspects but then comes up with Chef Pee Pee as a suspect, which Cody finds this absurd, but they then investigate more as Cody leaves to ask Chef Pee Pee while Junior and Joseph takes Patrica's body.
Brooklyn Guy then notices Junior and Joseph as he sees them walking out, with the body, which Brooklyn Guy asks them what they are doing. Junior tells him that they are solving a murder, but Brooklyn Guy says it looks like they might be doing a murder, but Junior explains that they are the Scooby Gang, and the guy called them to solve the murder, but Brooklyn Guy says the guy called the police and he would know because he is the police. Junior then tells him he doesn't have to do anything as they are getting the murder case handled as Junior tells him their prime suspect: Chef Pee Pee, which Brooklyn Guy doesn't believe it because they aren't near Junior's house despite the clues Junior gave to him, but Junior tells him that he thinks Chef Pee Pee came over and killed her right quick, which Brooklyn Guy then lets it play out because he doesn't feel like arresting them all and doing paper work. Junior and Joseph then continue what they were doing as they walk, carrying the body.
At the pool, Penelope gets shocked as she finds a clue, being a mask. Penelope then tells Timmy about it as they both get excited, but Cody comes over as he tells them that Junior and Joseph are taking the body back over to Junior's house. Penelope then tells Cody that she found a clue, which Timmy tells Cody that she totally found a clue. Cody then tells them "Oh wow, good job guys" but Penelope tells Cody to say the thing as Cody says "Jinkies, a clue" while Penelope says "This damsel is distressed". Cody then tells them to "cut the shit" as he tells them that somebody's actually dead and Junior's taking the body back to his house, but then tells them to grab the mask as he says that it might be important, which Timmy grabs it as they them leave the pool.
Back at the kitchen, Chef Pee Pee gets upset as he questions what he is doing wrong but Junior comes in, saying hey. Chef Pee Pee tells him not right now as he explains that he's trying to fry the Fruit by the Foot but it keeps melting. Junior asks him if he tried putting batter on it, which Chef Pee Pee says he'll try that next time. Junior then asks him if he knows the women as he shows Chef Pee Pee the body, but Chef Pee Pee gets pissed as he asks him why he brought a dead woman in there. Junior then asks how he knows she's dead, which Chef Pee Pee says it's because she has a knife in her back, but Junior says he never pointed out the knife as he asks how he knows there's a knife in the back and how does he know that's how she died, which Chef Pee Pee gives the answer of context clues, but Junior asks him what he has been doing tonight, which Chef Pee Pee tells him that he's been frying Fruit by the Foot, which Junior says "And you've been getting mad at the Fruit by the Foot, right", which Chef Pee Pee says yes, which starts an argument until Junior asks him how does he know that she's a lady, which Chef Pee Pee says he assumed, which shocks Junior as he says assuming equals making an ass out of both of them and says "What asses do? shit" as Junior says that he's been talking a lot of shit as they then continue to argue until Cody tells Junior that they found a mask as he shows Junior the mask. Cody then says the mask might belong to the killer, which Chef Pee Pee denies it being his as he says it's too big for him, which Cody says he's right as Junior feels disappointed as he says he guess they have to look for other suspects until he makes a connection that he saw the mask when he asked Chef Pee Pee earlier if he wanted to be Scrappy Doo, which Cody confirms this even more as he shows Junior that he found "Property of Chef Pee Pee" written inside of the mask, which they gasp in shock but Chef Pee Pee tells them to stop gasping as he admits that he's the one who killed Patricia because he wants to work for Goodman and she stole his job, and explains that he said if he could sneak up and stab her in the back while she's working and cleaning up, she could die as the video shows a flashback of Chef Pee Pee stabbing Patricia and hiding the mask as Chef Pee Pee says that it means there would be a job opening available and he would be able to steal all of the jobs as he then says he could of gotten away but messes up his line by saying "If it wasn't for you Courage the Cowardly dog", which everyone is disappointed that Chef Pee Pee messed up his line was supposed to be "If it wasn't for you meddling kids". Chef Pee Pee then says he needs to watch the show but Junior tells him that he's going to jail for killing someone.

Joseph being Scooby Doo is a reference to a somewhat racist viral image of a group of friends dressed up as the Mystery Gang. With an African-American man being Scooby.

According to The Halloween Purge!, Timmy's parents, Hank and Susanne Huckerdoo, forbid the celebration of Halloween in their household due to believing it is like "worshipping the Devil." Nonetheless, just like last Halloween, Timmy must have snuck out of his house again to, this time, "practice" Trick-or-Treating with his friends without saying something that could get them in trouble.
