"Rich Brooklyn Guy!" is the 580th episode of SML Movies and the beginning of the Human puppet era.
Synopsis[]
Brooklyn Guy is RICH!
Plot[]
The video begins with Jeffy coming to the room and telling Mario and Rosalina that he used Gorilla Glue as shampoo. Mario and Rosalina are shocked at this point. Mario gets angry and Jeffy says maybe they should sue Gorilla Glue so they have to put "not shampoo" on the bottle. Mario disagrees ferociously and says no one is dumb enough to do that. Rosalina takes Jeffy to the bathroom to wash the glue off, when Mario calls the doctor.
Brooklyn T. Guy comes in and tells Mario that he is no longer a doctor and that he is rich. Mario gets shocked about this. He explains he is rich because Tom Brady won the Super Bowl and betted his entire life savings to win, which happened. He then calls his former chief to tell him that he quits and he insults him. He asks Mario if he could live in his house for a while until his new mansion is built. Mario refuses his bribery until Karen gives him a gold bar, with him accepting his deal.
Brooklyn Guy then heads to the kitchen and demands Mario for Reese's Puffs. Mario gives him Reese's Puffs; Brooklyn was not being specific and he wants to eat Big Reese's Puffs. He eats them with his golden spoon.
Mario then heads to the bathroom, explains to Rosalina and Jeffy that Brooklyn Guy is no longer a doctor, and finds out that both of Rosalina's hands and Jeffy's foot got stuck to Jeffy's head. Mario plans to find a way to make Brooklyn lose his money so he can help them out.
After eating a whole bowl of Big Reese's Puffs, Brooklyn Guy gets asked by Mario if he wants to go gambling with him.
They begin to gamble with Mr. Goodman. He bets his money with gold bars. Brooklyn Guy wins his first try. Mario decides he bets again, and he wins again; he is positive that he will win the last spin if he gambles all his money, with him losing all his money. But it is unknown whether they still keep their mansion. Brooklyn and Karen lose both of their clothes and accessories. They will now be homeless until they can get their mansion (unknown).
Brooklyn Guy is now depressed he lost his money. Mario explains the emergency. Brooklyn Guy needs hand sanitizer and he accidentally uses Gorilla Glue to sanitize his hands. The video ends off with Brooklyn explaining the lesson that you should always read labels and never betray your friends with money.

Trivia[]
- Starting with this episode, the human puppets have replaced the old plushies for the second time due to Nintendo sending a cease and desist letter to Logan threatening to sue him because of how he portrays the characters from their company (until Nintendo allows Logan to use the plushies again if that ever happens). However, this is the not the first time the human puppets were used. They actually first appeared in "The Human Potion!" in 2019, and those human puppets would be used throughout in newer SML videos later on throughout 2021 to now.
- This marks the first video in the Human Puppet Era.
- Jeffy putting gorilla glue in his hair is likely a reference to the "Gorilla Glue Girl" Tiktoker who put gorilla glue in her hair.
- This episode could've been the last video on SuperBowserLogan if Logan were to move to SuperYoshiLogan (or SML Gaming as it is now called) as some fans were telling him. However, a month later, Elaina sold her channel to Logan and he renamed it to SML.
- This is the fourth episode involving someone being rich. The first being Bowser Junior in "Bowser Junior's Credit Card!" the second being Mario in "Rich Mario!" and the third being Joseph in "Joseph the Millionaire!"
- This is Rosalina's second appearance in her human puppet variant.
- The Rosalina puppet also seems to be damaged, partly due for the protruding lower jaw and lack of sandals.
- This marks the final appearance of the Blue M&Ms Officer as a plush. From this point on, he would be replaced by a human puppet version of himself for an unknown reason.
- Brooklyn T. Guy says "motherf'er" instead of "motherf*cker" to avoid demonetization.
- Though then, since they're no longer using the copyrighted versions of the characters, it’s likely those "family entertainment" clauses that would've resulted in demonetization no longer apply to the series.
- However, Brooklyn does say "f*ck" muffled twice at 9:02.
- This episode was uploaded three years after "SicKEN", twelve years after Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story was released in Japan, and thirteen years after "Mario Saves Someone "Part 2"".
- This is the first video of 2021 to not be uploaded on a Wednesday or Saturday.
- This is also the first time in a while that there was only one SML Movie uploaded in a week.
- If the Buccaneers never won the Super Bowl, this video would have never been made, because of Brooklyn Guy making a bet on the Bucs, which he won. If he lost, he wouldn't have been rich unless it was a different reason.
- It should be noted that most programs rated "general" and above do allow the depiction of gambling.
- This is one of the only times where Brooklyn Guy gets along with Karen well.
Errors[]
- In the scene where Brooklyn Guy eats the Big Reese's Puffs, there is no milk but in the next scene, there is It's possible that he put it offscreen.
- In the end scene, the commercial still has the "SuperMarioLogan" logo, which violates Nintendo's cease-and-desist. This was later fixed in "Cody's New Friend!"
- The thumbnail is a bit misleading, as Jeffy didn't wear his helmet at any point of the video because he used Gorilla Glue as shampoo.
- Brooklyn Guy had two watches for both East and West Coast times despite the fact neither of those watches are the local time. Pensacola, FL is in the Central time zone, which is an hour apart from Eastern (East Coast time).
