Logan's cat Precious, (who has appeared in multiple vlogs and some episodes,) passed away on April 13th, 2021. She was 17 and a half years old. Let us always remember her legacy, and may she rest in peace.

Precious was a cat of Logan's. She made a few appearances in Logan's videos. Four of her most notable appearances were in "Bowser Junior's Bad Luck!", where she spoke and said, "Wassup, n*gga!", "Bowser's Cookies", where she ran across the kitchen, and "Bowser Junior's Candy Bar!", where she was in Junior's bed. She then appeared in "Precious's Pillow Fort!", which is the first video where she is an actual character. Her first video as an actual character went viral and went #1 on trending.

Precious was Logan's last cat from his videos in the past during the old house era that was still alive. Precious hadn’t been in vlogs recently in 2020 and 2021 due to her old age and health problems she had experienced, with numerous surgeries she had taken. However, Precious was seen in part two of the Behind the Scenes for "Jeffy Wins the Lottery!" and a few other vlogs on Lance’s channel. But in March-April 2021, Precious experienced further health problems, which included multiple seizures from her thyroid removal surgery and kidney failures. Precious then later passed away on April 13th, 2021, after being euthanized due to her being diagnosed with Stage IV Kidney Failure, which she was currently going through at the time, as confirmed by Logan in a live stream just moments before she sadly passed.

SuperMarioLogan

In "Precious' Pillow Fort!", Brooklyn T. Guy said that she was the legendary conqueror of pillow forts. It is stated that she seeks the best pillow forts, and when she sees one, she will move in there, and there is nothing that can be done to get her to leave. The only known way to get her out was to destroy the fort, which Brooklyn T. Guy did, although she moved back in when Bowser Junior fixed it.

Biography

Birth and Adoption

Precious was born sometime in mid-2003. The first time she was taken to the vet by Logan and his family was in September of 2003 and was about 12 weeks old at the time according to a vlog on Chilly’s channel. Before getting Precious, Logan's biological father gave him & Lance 2 pet iguanas. However, Logan's mother wasn't okay with it because she thought they were dangerous and were carrying a disease, so she decided that they were gonna trade them for a cat. Logan and his family went to Petland, and Logan found a kitten that was being very loud, which he chose to annoy his mom as payback for making him get rid of the iguanas. They named the cat Precious, about Lord of the Rings. At first, Logan didn't like Precious, but he got used to her and had fun, and she became Logan's favorite cat out of all the others that were in Logan’s mother’s house.

Fame and Popularity on SuperMarioLogan/SML, SuperPeachLogan, and Chilly

When SuperMarioLogan began, she would appear in lots of videos with minor appearances whenever she sneaks into scenes or when Logan films a small clip of her. When he uploaded the video, “SuperMarioLogan’s Cats,” he first showed Precious. He mentioned Precious as his “queen” and was his favorite out of all of the cats shown in the video.

In 2010, Logan created a fourth channel named, “SuperPeachLogan” (now owned by Chilly and renamed “Chilly” in 2017). On SuperPeachLogan before the channel was taken away by Chilly and being rebranded into her name, Logan would upload videos of Precious and his sister, Haleigh. He said he created the channel because people loved seeing Precious and Haleigh, and created the channel just for them, even if he feels that some people would think the video will be boring and lame.

Precious’ cameo in “Bowser Junior’s Candy Bar!”

When Logan moved out of his mother’s house in 2015, he got to take Precious with him. Precious was seen in a couple of videos during the apartment era. She made a brief cameo in “Bowser’s Junior’s Candy Bar!!” where she was seen sitting in Junior’s bed after Junior came home from the gas station in which he was shocked and anxious after stealing a candy bar when Chef Pee Pee refused to buy it for him. Junior then notices Precious on his bed and then yells at her to get out, and she was then seen jumping off the bed. She also appeared in “Bowser Junior’s Bad Luck!” where Junior was experiencing bad luck on Friday the 13th. When he saw Precious, he was scared, but later was relieved when he saw she wasn’t black. Precious then says, “Wassup, n*gga!” and it proved that Precious was racially Black (presumably African American), which scares Junior.

After the apartment era, Precious was seen in a lot of Chilly’s vlogs at the new and current house, typically during some videos that are dedicated to her such as “SHE HATES US!!” where Logan takes her a bath, and some of the outros whenever she includes her and the dogs, Snowball and Blizzard, before she and Logan, broke up and later moved out with her dogs. Precious would then later reach her biggest break ever and had even more popularity when Logan included her as an actual character in the SML series when she had a major lead in her own special SML Movie video, “Precious’s Pillow Fort!” in 2019. After the video was released, the video went viral, and went #1 on the trending page on YouTube.

Precious The Rapper! (Precious’ second major SML video)

Precious then later makes another major appearance in “Precious the Rapper!” when her character became a rapper. After her fame on the SML channel, Precious then presumably went on a hiatus/retirement since afterwards, she didn’t appear in any SML Movies again. Precious was almost going to have another video called 'Precious's Superpowers' but that was only if Logan got 500K likes on a vlog. It never got to that amount and was, therefore, never released.

Relationship With Pumpkin

In 2020, Precious didn’t really appear many videos lately until Lance’s vlog, “LOGAN’S BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!!” in which Logan and Adriana (now ex-girlfriend) introduced their new kitten they had recently rescued and adopted while walking one day, Pumpkin. During the vlog, Logan gave the fans a brief update on her after not appearing for a while in videos and to see how she was adjusting to Pumpkin’s adoption. Overall, Precious didn’t seem to be bothered by Pumpkin’s adoption and permanent stay in the house, but Pumpkin seemed to not like Precious (at least from that time, unknown whether or not he matured later and stopped disliking/disrespecting her).

Health Problems

Logan gave the fans another update months later in a vlog after many fans wondered where she was and asking if she was still alive or not. Logan confirmed Precious was, indeed, still alive. But during the video, it was shown that she had lost half of her weight. This was due to her overactive thyroid, presumably due to her old age. Precious then later had surgery for her overactive thyroid. Months later again, Logan gave the fans yet another update. Logan confirmed that Precious had another surgery, in which her other thyroid was removed. Due to the previous surgeries, Precious had a lack of calcium and vitamin D, and her kidneys began to fail. Logan confirmed that her doctors were giving her calcium and vitamin D she needed, but she still wasn’t doing well due to her failing kidneys. He wanted to do a kidney transplant on her, but Lance was very concerned about the outcomes of the surgery while talking/explaining about Precious' health in another vlog.

Death

A week later, Precious wasn’t doing any better, and Logan posted a livestream on Instagram telling the fans that Precious' kidneys' condition had worsened and was diagnosed with Stage 4 kidney disease/Failure. With her unable to get a kidney transplant due to the surgery being very risky, especially with her recently recovering from two surgeries, and her age and weight being really concerning, Logan decides to have Precious be put down. He let the fans see Precious and give their own comments to her for what was the last time with numerous wishes and prayers on the livestream while being silent and constantly petting her. Few minutes later after the livestream, Logan confirmed on an Instagram post that Precious had now sadly passed away after being euthanized. When Logan announced Precious' death on Instagram, he included photos of him and her from the past for tribute. He then posted her memorial stone with her paws imprinted on his Instagram story.

Precious' passing was marked in the SML universe with the video "Precious' Biggest Fan!", where multiple characters, including Bowser Junior, Joseph, Jeffy, Chef Pee Pee. Tyrone, and even Mr. Goodman mourn her death, and a memorial montage was shown at the end.
