"Marvin's Birthday" is the 1,073rd episode of SML Movies and a collaboration special with poster company Displate.
Synopsis[]
Marvin is having a bad birthday!
Plot[]
The episode starts with Rose, asking Marvin how does it feel to be 40 now because today is his birthday as she then says "The big 4-0", but Marvin tells her to stop as he doesn't want to be old. Jeffy then says "Daddy's old as s-word", which he explains that he can't cuss in the first 30 seconds because they'll get demonetized, but as soon as it hits 30 seconds, he'll go crazy. Marvin then says he doesn't want to be 40 because it means he's halfway done with his life, but Rose asks him how he wants to celebrate his birthday, which Marvin says he wants to stay home and sit on the couch, but Rose says it's lame as she then suggests that they should go bowling. Marvin says he doesn't want to as he doesn't want to smell bowling lanes, and bowling shoes, but Rose tells him he doesn't have to smell that, which Marvin says the whole place smells like bowling shoes as he then says it's gross. Jeffy then announces that it's been 30 seconds as he then says "Fuck, Shit, Dick", which Marvin tells him to stop it as he then says what he wants for his birthday is for him to not cuss, which Jeffy says it's a lot to ask for, but he'll "fuckin do it", which Rose sells "Jeffy" in a upset tone, causing Jeffy to say "Starting now". Rose then suggests Jeffy to go downstairs and get Marvin's birthday cake, which Jeffy says "Fuck that", but then changes it to "Shit yeah", but then changes it again to "Okay" as Jeffy then leaves to go to the kitchen, where he is seen, grabbing Marvin's birthday cake from the fridge, where he tells himself that he's got to be very careful so he doesn't drop it, which he walks it back upstairs to where he was, until he stops mid-way as he ends up getting an idea to use a stair rail to push the cake up, which he proceeds to do that as he says to himself "Good thinking Jeffy", which he then continues walking up the stairs, when suddenly, he notices one of his shoes was untied, so he ends up doing it and letting go of the cake, causing the cake to slide down, and it breaking. Jeffy then finishes up tying his shoes as he notices what just happened, which he runs down the stairs as he says he can fix it as he then fixes the cake, and then goes back upstairs.
Back at the Red Couch, Jeffy comes in with the cake as Jeffy tells Marvin "Here's your cake" as he then starts singing, but Rose says "Jeffy!" in a upset tone as she asks Jeffy what he did to the cake, which Jeffy says he didn't do anything to the cake as he blames the stairs, saying "It sure fucked it up", but Rose tells him he's not supposed to be cussing, which Jeffy says "That's right, thank you". Marvin then asks the same question as Rose, but Jeffy tells him he doesn't think he heard him as he says again that he didn't do anything, it was the stairs and floor who messed up the cake, which upsets Marvin ask he says "So there's a big mess on the stairs?", which Jeffy says it isn't so much on the stairs as it is on the floor, but yes, still the stairs, which this makes Marvin more angry as he says he can't believe he made a mess on his birthday as he then leaves, saying he got to clean the mess up before the episode then cuts to the Displate sponsor segment.
After the Displate sponsor segment, Marvin is still upset as he can't believe he has to clean a mess up on his birthday, which he gets a paper towel and starts cleaning as he says to himself that he hates Jeffy. Marvin then gets the door as the door rings, which he opens it to reveal Mr. Goodman, who spits in his face and tells him his house payment is due, which Marvin tells him it's not the 1st, but Goodman says he knows as he says he wants it early because Thanksgiving is coming up, which he explains that he gives him his house payment, and he thanks him. Marvin tells him it's his birthday, only for Goodman to make fun of him as he yells out to the world, pilots flying airplanes, troops fighting wars, Kim Jung Un, and Vladimir Putin to stop because today is Marvin's birthday as he then says no one gives a shit as he then asks for the house payment, but Marvin tells him he doesn't have his house payment, which Goodman tells him what he does every single year on his birthday, which is going to Bing Bong's Massage Parlor, and get a two-for-one eggroll handy as he then says to him "Do you think after I get my two-for-one eggroll handy that they still want me to pay?" as he then answers his own question, saying yes as he has to cough up the dough because he doesn't want his "load" to be coughed up. Marvin says he gets it as he says again that he doesn't have his house payment, which pisses off Goodman as he says he's not leaving his house, empty handed, because he wants something off him, which Marvin asks what he wants from him, which Goodman says he wants his mustache that he calls a turd, which he threatens to rip it off if he doesn't give it to him, which Marvin tells him he can't rip it off him as it's part of his skin, but Goodman doesn't care as he ripped it off him, inflicting pain on him as Goodman tells him that he gets his mustache back when he pays his house payment as they then go their ways.
Back at the Red Couch, Rose asks Marvin who was at the door, which Marvin tells her it was Goodman before Rose then screams as she asks him what happened to his face, which Marvin tells Rose that Goodman ripped his mustache off. Rose then asks about the red bumps on his lip, which Marvin tells her they're probably inflamed hair follicles from his mustache being pulled off. Jeffy then says he looks like someone who sticks their wiener in their butt, but Marvin tells him to stop talking as he's ruining his birthday as he already messed up his cake and made a mess on the stairs, but Jeffy tells him he put new candles on his cake, which Rose says it's a good idea as she tells him to get the lighter from downstairs so they can sing Happy Birthday to Marvin, which Jeffy proceeds to do that as Marvin asks Rose why he would tell him to something as he says she knows he's going to mess it up somehow like getting the house on fire. Duggie then comes in and asks him why he has "herp hips" on his lip, which Marvin tells him he does not have herpes on his lip, and it's just inflamed hair follicles. Duggie then says he was wondering he has "2 3 $500", which Marvin tells him he does not have that kind of money as he then asks why he needs that kind of money, which Duggie says it's because he wants to buy toilet paper for his cousin DooDoo Ass, which Marvin declines as he says if he had the money, he doesn't think it would help DooDoo Ass wipe because of his name, which Duggie calls him green and selfish, but Marvin says it's his birthday, which Duggie wishes him a Happy Birthday as he then asks what he got for his birthday, which Marvin says he got him, asking for money. Duggie then asks if he didn't get a car with some money in it, which Marvin says he didn't as he says he only got a cake as he points to his cake, which Duggie asks if that's his cake, if he likes it, and if he's going to have his cake, which Marvin says it is his cake, but he doesn't like it, and he's probably not going to have the cake. Duggie then asks if he can have the cake, which Marvin says he can have it, which shocks Duggie as he says he's going to sell it and maybe get some money from it and get toilet paper for DooDoo Ass as he then leaves with the cake. This upsets Rose as she tells Marvin he gave away his birthday cake, but Marvin says it was a big old mess, and no one's going to eat it as it's going to taste like carpet and stairs as he then says Jeffy fucked it up as Jeffy then comes in with the lighter, which Jeffy cries as he overhears this. Marvin tells him to be quiet, but Jeffy says he said he fucked it up as he then cries. Rose then tells him to light the lighter so they can sing Happy Birthday, which Jeffy refuses at first, but Marvin tells him to light it, which Jeffy lights it as he's still crying. Rose then says "Ready?" as she then sings Happy Birthday, which Jeffy sings it in his crying tone, but she stops the singling as she tells Marvin her phone is ringing as she leaves as Jeffy cries some more.
Marvin then tells Jeffy to stop crying, but Jeffy says he's being quiet, but he keeps yelling at him, but Marvin tells him to shut up as Rose then comes in, crying, which Marvin asks her why she's crying, which Rose tells him that her friend died today. Marvin asks her how her friend die, which Rose says they don't know yet, but she was one of the first 20 people to know about it. Marvin doesn't care as he tells her that it's his birthday today, she'll still be dead tomorrow, and how about they focus on his birthday, but Rose says she's sad today. Marvin tells her to act like she didn't hear as he says it's a rumor and his birthday is a fact, but Rose tells Marvin she already share it on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and she haven't shared it on Twitter, but she'll do that next as she then cries some more, which Marvin tells her that it looks like she done enough for her as he then tells her that she'll still be dead, and she can't bring her back as he then tells her to focus on his birthday. Jeffy then relights the lighter as he tells him that he can blow out the lighter and make a wish, which Marvin wishes his birthday didn't suck as he blows the lighter out. Suddenly, the door rings, which Marvin goes get the door as he asks who's at the door, which he opens the door to reveal it's Brooklyn T. Guy, saying "There he is, the birthday boy, now that's a 40 year old grown ass man", which Marvin tells him not to remind him that he's now 40. Brooklyn Guy then says he got him a birthday cake as he shows him the birthday cake, which Marvin asks where he got that as it looked familiar to the cake he had earlier before he gave it to Duggie, which Brooklyn Guy asks if he knows who they make Smash Burgers as he then says that apparently, they also make Smash Cakes. Marvin tells him they don't do that, which Brooklyn Guy said that's what the guy selling outside his house told him. Marvin questions about the guy selling outside his house, which Brooklyn Guy says the cake must be some Gourmet shit as he says the guy charged him $300 for it, but he doesn't mind as he goes all out for his friends on their birthdays, which he says he was called "Goes All Out For Birthdays Brooklyn" back in his high school days. Marvin asks if he really spent $300 on the cake, which Brooklyn Guy says he did, but it apparently goes to a good cause because apparently his friend is paralyzed and can't wait his ass, and he called him DooDoo Ass, but Marvin says he's not paralyzed and he can't wipe his ass, it's that he doesn't want to. Brooklyn Guy then offers a bite, but Marvin says he doesn't want to as he's not hungry, which Brooklyn Guy says it's ok as they can take it with them. Marvin asks where they are going, which Brooklyn Guy says they are going to the Strip Club, but Marvin says he doesn't want to go as he doesn't have any money, which Brooklyn Guy says he doesn't need money as he can just come on in as they like when you don't pay and you just gawk at them, which Marvin agrees to go as they then go to the Strip Club.
At the Strip Club, Brooklyn Guy tells Marvin to look at the front row as it's wide open for the birthday boy as he then says "Nothing says you're getting older like paying a woman half your age to get naked" as Brooklyn Guy then tells Crystal, who is currently on the stripper pole, that today is his friend's birthday and he's turning 40, but Crystal goes "Ewww" as she then goes back to dancing on the stripper pole, which Brooklyn Guy asks her how old she is, which Crystal says she's 20, which Brooklyn Guy then tells Marvin that it means when he was 20, she was just being born as he then asks if that is gross, which Marvin says it is. Brooklyn Guy then says he doesn't make the rules as he then tells Crystal to get naked, which Crystal then pulls up one of her legs and rubs it, which Brooklyn Guy enjoys seeing it while Marvin says he's bored, which Brooklyn Guy takes it as in him wanting action as he then tells Crystal that they don't have any money, but since today is Marvin's birthday, so maybe she could give them free "gaba gool", only for Crystal to decline, saying "Ew, no" as she then asks what's on Marvin's face, which Brooklyn Guy also looks at it, asking what's on his face as he then says "Ew Marvin, is that herpes?", which Marvin tells him it's not herpes, it's that his mustache got ripped off and it's like a rash or something. Brooklyn Guy then says just in case Crystal does agree to do stuff with them, no kissing him, which Marvin says he's not going to kiss him, but Brooklyn Guy says the lights are going to be off, and he will never know what's going on. Duggie then comes in, holding cash, saying "Pull them boobies out", which Marvin says "Duggie!?" while Brooklyn Guy says it's the guy who sold him the cake. Marvin then says he thought the money was going to DooDoo Ass, which Duggie says it was, but he died last week, which Marvin asks why he was asking for money if he died last week, which Duggie says it was because he didn't know he died last week. Marvin then demands him to give the money back to Brooklyn Guy since he died, but Duggie says no as the money is for his funeral. Marvin then asks why he's throwing money at strippers, which Duggie says it's because that's what DooDoo Ass would have wanted. Marvin then says "Thats it, I'm going to hit him" as he goes to hit Duggie, but ended up hitting Crystal instead. Brooklyn Guy asks him what the hell he's doing as he says this isn't the 40s and he can't women because they won't bang him, which Marvin says she got in the way when he was trying to hit Duggie. Earl then comes in, saying he's under arrest for hitting a stripper, which Marvin says it was an accident, and he didn't mean to, but Earl doesn't care as he says "Okay, come on bub, you're coming with me" as he grabs Marvin and takes him to jail, which Marvin asks Brooklyn Guy to stop him since he's a cop, but Brooklyn Guy says he can't because the Strip Club is out of his judication. Marvin then asks him to bail him out, which Brooklyn Guy says he'll try as he then talks to Crystal, saying that he know she said no because it looked like his friend had herpes, but then says "What about me?".
At Jail, Earl tosses Marvin in his jail cell, telling him to get in there, which Marvin says he didn't do anything and he doesn't deserve to be in jail, but Earl says "Say it to the Judge", which Marvin asks him when does he see the Judge, which Earl says it's Friday and he doesn't come until Monday. Marvin is shocked about this as he says he can't be in jail all weekend, but Earl says "Tough Tittes bud" as he then leaves. Marvin then says he doesn't want to be in jail until he turns around and sees Bubbles, who asks if that's his birthday gift he sees, which Marvin asks if today's his birthday, which Bubbles says it is as he says he sees a lot of cake, but Marvin tells him today's his birthday too, which Bubble likes that as he wishes him a Happy Birthday and let him give him his gift as he tries to take Marvin, but Marvin tells him he doesn't want him as he tells him to look at his face as he then lies about having herpes, but Bubbles doesn't care as he sees them as sprinkles as he then tries to catch them before Marvin runs up to his cell door, begging for help. Brooklyn Guy then shows up in his cop uniform, holding a cake, which he tells him he brought him a birthday cake, which Marvin says he doesn't want the cake as he asks him to get rid of the cake, but Brooklyn Guy says he brought him a key that he put in the cake, which Marvin asks why he did that, which Brooklyn Guy explains that when he gives him the cake, he can get the key out of it and use it to get out of jail. Marvin asks why he can't do that, which Brooklyn Guy says it's because the cop is still here as Earl then asks him what he's doing here, which Brooklyn Guy lies to him, saying he's just confiscating the cake, which Earl says it's perfect, but his shift is about to end, so he asks him if he can pick it up and watch the inmates, but Brooklyn Guy says he doesn't know as the strippers gave him his phone number, but gets interrupted by Marvin, saying he can do it because Bubbles is still being weird to him, only for Earl to tell him to shut up as he then asks Brooklyn Guy if he can do it, which Brooklyn Guy sighs as he then says he can do it, which Earl says "Alright, sweet" as he then leaves while Brooklyn Guy asks Marvin why he did that as he wanted to bang a stripper, which Marvin says it's because he can open the jail cell door and get him out as he then begs to get out, which Brooklyn Guy then says Alright, but it's only because he goes all of for his friends on their birthdays as he then opens the Jail Cell door, and lets Marvin out. This upsets Bubbles as he says "Come on baby".
Back at the Red Couch, Marvin thanks Brooklyn Guy for bailing him out, which this shocks Rose as she asks Marvin if he was in jail, which Brooklyn Guy says he was as he punched a stripper. Rose then asks Marvin why he was at a Strip Club, which Brooklyn Guy says it's his birthday and if he wants to get his willy wet or slightly hovered over, he can do that, which this shocks Rose as she says "What!?" while Marvin tells her to ignore him as he's having the worst birthday ever. Brooklyn Guy tells him not to say that as he hasn't even had his cake yet, which this pisses Marvin off as he asks why the cake keeps following him as he says he doesn't want it, which Brooklyn Guy says he paid $300 for the cake, and somebody's going to eat it. Marvin then says again that he's having the worst birthday ever as he then says no one got him a gift. Brooklyn Guy calls him a selfish asshole for that as he says he paid a $300 cake for him, but then says he also got him "this" as he brings in a metal poster. Marvin is amazed from it as he asks what is it, which Brooklyn Guy tells him it's a SML Displate as he then says the link for it is in the description. Marvin then asks if it's for him, which Brooklyn Guy says it's for anybody who the link for it is in the description. Marvin then asks what's it made out of as he touches it, which Brooklyn Guy says it's made out of metal, which he says it looks like paper, but it's not as it metal, which he tapes the poster two times. Marvin then says it's the best birthday gift he's ever gotten. Brooklyn Guy then says let's go hang it up, but Rose declines, saying she doesn't want a bunch of holes in the wall, but Brooklyn Guy tells her she's in luck as it's magnetic as he then says let's go hang it up, which Marvin then says "Yeah, best birthday gift ever, hang it up" as they then go hang the poster up.

Trivia[]
- This video was uploaded 2 years after "Junior Does NOT Go To Whack'a'MoleLand!" and on the day Wicked and Gladiator II were released in theaters.
- Marvin turning 40 years old may be a reference to how the Super Mario franchise will be celebrating it's 40th anniversary next year.
- Marvin's age and birthday is retconned again here. Marvin had previously been stated to be born on May 1, 1981 in "Jeffy's Drivers License!" and May 10, 1983 in "Jeffy Gets Knocked Out!". Marvin was stated to be 40 years old in "Fat Jeffy", and had been implied to have been a teenager during the 1980s in many apartment era videos. Here, Marvin is stated to be born on November 22, 1984 and currently 40 years old, making him almost exactly 10 years older than Logan himself.
- However, this video is consistent with "Rosalina's Ex-Boyfriend!", where his birthday is stated to be in November.
- Marvin's birthday being in November is based on his voice actor, Logan Thirtyacre.
- This is the second time SML has collaborated with Displate, the first time being in the video "Bad Santa!".

Errors[]
- Marvin was stated to already be 40 a year prior in "Jeffy Gets Knocked Out!". So this should make him 41-42 years old in 2024.
- At first, when Marvin's mustache gets ripped off, the red bumps are not there, they also are not in any other videos where Marvin is missing his mustache. However his hygiene has gotten very poor since these other videos, stated in "Duggie's Call Of Duty Heist!", so that could be the possible reason.
- Crystal says she's 20, but in "Jeffy's Balloon Company!" she was 18. So this should make her 19 years old in 2024.
