"Mario Sells Jeffy!" (currently known as "Jeffy's Dad Sells Jeffy!" due to the cease and desist) is the 521st episode of SML Movies.

Synopsis[]

Mario sells Jeffy to Mr. Goodman.

Plot[]

The story starts with Jeffy and Junior playing a matching game. They begin arguing over how to play the game, Jeffy wants to flip over all the cards at once while Junior says to flip only 2 cards at a time. Then, we switch to Mario and Rosalina playing Jenga. Jeffy comes over to ask Mario if you're supposed to flip over 2 cards. Mario says yes, and Jeffy calls him stupid. Jeffy asks the same question but this time to Rosalina and Rosalina says no. Jeffy then asks how you're supposed to play Jenga and Mario explains how you play. Rosalina then asks Mario and Jeffy to play nicer after they argue over whether or not you should pull out the pieces.

Then, Mr. Goodman comes to the house. Rosalina says hello to Goodman, but he glares at her. He gives Mario an offer to sell Jeffy for 10 million dollars ($10,000,000) because Richard needs a new pet. Mario wants the deal, but Rosalina doesn't. Mario decides to ask Jeffy if he wants to go to Mr. Goodman's house, or stay with them. Mario makes Jeffy think that Goodman's house is like the factory in "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory".

Jeffy agrees and Mario takes Jeffy to Goodman. When Mario comes back, he has a purse for Rosalina and accidentally confesses her for what he did. Rosalina yells angrily at Mario for selling Jeffy (which he did) and asked Mario if he did sell Jeffy. Mario lies by saying no and Rosalina states the fact that Mario is stingy. Then Rosalina wants to see Jeffy. Instead, Mario brings Patrick and dressed him up as Jeffy and wanted to fool Rosalina. Rosalina wasn't buying it so she said she was going to Jeffy's room. Mario didn't want Rosalina to go to Jeffy's room, so he got the other fake Jeffy. Rosalina still doesn't buy it.

Then, Goodman comes back to the house to return Jeffy. Goodman said that he ate the drywall (believing it was candy), called the maids and the gardeners Oompa Loompas, and called Goodman Willy Wonka. Goodman also said that he will report the 10 million dollars as a fraud. Upon realizing that Goodman just said, Mario groans in defeat.

Then Rosalina is happy to see Jeffy back while Mario is upset that he didn’t get 10 million dollars and his living hell life continues.

Characters[]

Trivia[]

  • This video was made to promote the new SML merchandise Logan has created.
  • This is Feebee's first appearance in 2020, only on card game and post video.
    • Some of the SML merch featured was the card matching game, the color-changing cup, the Jeffy pin, and Jeffy's inflatable pencil.
  • In the Behind The Scenes for this video, at around 2:28, a mysterious card with a character named "Pet Dinosaur" can be seen. This possibly foreshadowed Booger as the Character on The Card resembles him.
  • This is the first and only episode to feature Mario's name as part of a video title and thumbnail in 2020.
    • This is also the final video to have Mario's original name in the title due to the cease-and-desist from Nintendo.
  • This is Patrick's first appearance since "Jeffy's New Friend!". However, he is played by Lance instead of Pablo. Rosalina addressing Patrick (disguised as Jeffy) having a sore throat could be a reference to this.
  • This is Drawing Jeffy's first appearance since "Jeffy's Summer School". It's also his first appearance in 2020 and on SuperBowserLogan.
  • This episode was uploaded 5 years after "Bowser's Parrot!" and 12 years after Mario Super Sluggers was released in Japan.
  • It is unknown if Mario got to keep his Gucci or had to return it at the end. However, in a later episode, he has his overalls which means that Mario had to return it.
  • This video shows Rosalina being pretty smart when dealing with the imitation Jeffys, where in other videos, she is portrayed to be pretty idiotic and believes they are actually Jeffy. The same can be said about Mario as he also believes Jeffy lookalikes are the real Jeffy.
  • This episode showed Patrick's love for green beans again from "Jeffy's Commercial!".
  • This video shows how Mario is greedy for money and would do anything to obtain it such as selling his adopted son to Goodman, much to Rosalina's objection.
    • However, this video also reveals that Rosalina actually has no idea how money works, such as at 4:45 when she claims that people only go to work "for fun" and not to pay for bills, food, and other necessities.
      • This is another example of Rosalina's unintelligent personality.
  • This video briefly revived Jeffy's old personality when Mario asked if he wanted to live with Goodman.
  • This is the second time that Mario never learns his lesson. The first being in "Rich Mario!".
    • However, unlike Rich Mario, Brooklyn T. Guy doesn’t appear in this episode.

References[]

  • The "Mario! Baby! Mr. Goodman!" line is a reference to either (or both) the "Mom, Harold, Donkey!" line from Shrek 2, and the "Plankton, Krabs, SpongeBob!" line from the SpongeBob SquarePants episodes "Imitation Krabs" and "Enemy-In-Law".
  • Jeffy thinks that Goodman's mansion is the chocolate factory from Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory.

Errors[]

  • When Mario puts Jeffy in the bed, it was Junior and Chef Pee Pee's bunk bed. Jeffy usually sleeps in his crib.
