Synopsis[]

Mario's grandpa gets kicked out of the nursing home...

Plot[]

The short starts with Mario, on his laptop in which he fails to surf through the internet to find a better replacement for his own hat to cover his bald head, when his mobile phone suddenly rings in the process. He answers it to hear Mr. Goodman, now an owner of a nursing home, who calls and pleads Mario to pick up his grandfather, Harold Wilfred, after he was being causing problems at his facility and hangs up. Puzzled and worried, Mario puts his hat back on and drives to Goodman's nursing home to pick up his grandfather. Upon arriving, he saw Wilfred go to his car but has trouble getting the car door open. Mario shouts to Wilfred a couple times to use a handle open it, but it's useless since Wilfred is deaf, despite he has his hearing aid, and still having problems with the door. So instead, Mario opens the door for him. As Wilfred is inside and greets Mario, though since he's old and deaf, he always calls his grandchild many wrong names, Mario tells him that Wilfred is coming to his house to stay until he finds him a new nursing home.

While barely driving, Mario turns on his radio to listen to his favorite song "Milk and Cookies". However, Wilfred dislikes the rap song and begs Mario to tune to something of his generation. So, as Mario did tune up to the classical opera station, Wilfred dances to the beat over the opera song. Later, Mario and Wilfred arrive at the house. Wilfred asks Mario why he isn’t a doctor yet, and Mario replies with the fact that he didn't want to be a doctor and that he's a very successful mascot for Nintendo. Wilfred asks if he’s still a plumber. Mario says yes. Wilfred asks why he wears his “stupid clothes” and that he looks like a clown. Mario says they'll talk about it later and that they should leave the car and go to the house. Though since Wilfred is old, he has trouble leaving. Mario eventually decides to open the door for him. Mario goes to the door but realizes that Wilfred has locked it. He yells at him to unlock it, but Wilfred doesn’t understand him. He eventually realizes what he’s talking about, and Mario opens the door, much to his annoyance.

Later, the two enter the house. Wilfred asks why Mario leaves the lights on all the time and if he's trying to ruin the economy. Mario tells him to not worry about it and tries to walk him to the living room. Wilfred sits on the couch and Mario asks him if he needs anything. Wilfred responds with the fact that he needs his pills, and he left them at Apartment 42. Mario asks what the name of the pills are, and Wilfred responds with saying that it's Metamucil. Mario grabs some and tries to give it to him, but Wilfred thinks he’s trying to poison him. Mario leaves them on the couch and leaves. As Mario leaves, he walks into Toad. Toad says he’s going to go to the living room, but Mario tells him not to as his grandpa is there. Toad goes to the living room anyway to keep him company. Toad and Wilfred try to talk with each other, with not much success. Mario comes back to check on Wilfred, with him saying he pooped. Mario takes him to the bathroom. However, Shrek comes and tells him he has to poop. Mario tells him he can’t enter because Wilfred is in there. Wilfred eventually comes out, with his pants down. Mario leaves and finds that Shrek pooped in the sink. Mario leaves to ask Wilfred what he wants to eat, and that they need to find a new nursing home. Mario eventually finds a nursing home for Wilfred and tells them to come to his house. Mario tells Wilfred that he found a new nursing home for him, and that they're coming to the house to interview them. The video ends on a “to be continued”.
