Maria Sanchez is a minor character in the SML series. She was a new student and the girl in which Junior was told to go out on the school dance with, but once Junior asked her out, she rejected him, which this happened in The School Dance!. She was killed and eaten (later revived in "Cody's New Friend") by Jeffy's pet tiger, Orange Zebra. She is currently one of PJ Crenshaw's ladies, along with Vivian, who resides at PJ's desk during the school day.

- Her puppet was used for the deep-voiced Mexican girl Taquita in "Junior Gets Cooties!" and "Jeffy's Car Wash!".
- Her shirt in some videos was previously Candy's shirt.
