Luis Marvin (formerly known as Luigi Mario) or as he's called by Harold Wilfred and Jeffy, Loogie, is a formerly retired, now minor character of the SML franchise. He is Marvin's younger twin brother. He serves as the titular protagonist of the Luigi's Mansion series.
History[]
He was born with his twin brother Mario/Marvin on November 22, 1984[2], in Brooklyn NY, Italy or Japan[3]. He and his family later moved to Pensacola, Florida in the United States. During his childhood, he and Mario used to visit the Old SML House, where Bowser lived during that time there and they were loved by Bowser's mother Margaret, explaining his jealousy towards Mario and Luigi.
After high school, Peach and Mario would have their honeymoon in the Grand Canyon, where he proposed to her. They would later get married, and Luigi would attend their wedding as a best man.
In 2008, he had a clone named Mama Luigi, who kidnapped him, since he was cloned, claiming there could only be one Luigi. Then Mama Luigi revealed to Mario and Peach that he was a fake, and showed that the real Luigi was cloned.
They later took him to court, where he was sent to jail for one day, and after the court case, Peach revealed she was pregnant, because of a previous affair she had with Bowser.
Junior was born on September 28, 2008, during that time, Bowser kidnapped Luigi and would torture him and feed him cat liver. Later on, Bowser took custody of Junior, his biological son.
Luigi was once in the pound for pooping on Mario's lawn. He then returned in his own series Luigi's Mansion.
In "Ghost Jeffy!", Luigi brings Jeffy back to life after the latter dies and turns into a ghost from choking on Lifesaver Gummies.
As of today, he goes under the name of Luis, and is described by Marvin as being way more successful than him.
Appearance[]
As a puppet, his appearance looks identical to Marvin, but has a flipped mustache, a green shirt with a visible belt line, and is seen with the Poltergust 3000, which he calls it his "vacuum". However, the thumbnail for his reintroduction video has him as a color-swapped Marvin.
As a plush, he looks the same as his Nintendo counterpart with minor differences. Similar to Mario, he has a cap and blue overalls, along with white gloves and brown shoes, but has an "L" on a green cap with green clothing (this is because of complementary, or opposite colors), and slightly darker overalls. Luigi is also slimmer and taller than Mario.
Personality[]
He is a nice and friendly person, but is a coward and gets freaked out easily, until Ghost Jeffy, where he always tries to find a chance to one-up Mario.
He also has a stereotypical Italian accent, adding "a" to the end of his words, and commonly makes references and jabs towards the Mario games and characters.
Personality traits[]
- Nice
- Friendly
- Calm
- Cowardly
Relationships[]
Mario/Marvin[]
He likes Mario very much and would do anything to be him. Since Mario retired from adventuring, Luigi hasn't been in newer videos. But in "Ghost Jeffy!", he wanted to upstage Mario by proving some points in video games that were negative for Mario, and to prove that he was the better one by hunting down the ghost of Jeffy.
However, Mario has shown to dislike Luigi because of how much cooler and successful he is in comparison to Mario. In "Luis The Babysitter!", he believes Jeffy's lie about Luigi destroying the house despite knowing that Jeffy is an evil troublemaker and that Luigi/Luis is very nice and polite.
Status: Neutral (Brothers)
Mama Luigi[]
He is Luigi's clone counterpart. Mama Luigi kidnapped Luigi and tortured him because he lost the Main Character Judging contest.
Status: Neutral/Enemies
Chef Pee Pee[]
Luigi knows that they are friends, but he's not sure if he saw Chef Pee Pee before. At the end of "Bowser's Dinner Date", he invites Luigi and Toad to eat Bowser's leftover dinner.
Status: Friends
Bowser/Braxton[]
He hates Bowser just like how Mario did because he knows that he's very evil and an obnoxious asshole.
Status: Enemies
Black Yoshi/Duggie[]
Luigi knows that Black Yoshi is a criminal, but he never knew that Black Yoshi has red shoes.
Status: Friends
Toad/Lil' T[]
They used to rarely get along and get into arguments often, and mostly didn't like each other.
However, they seem to be in good terms as of "Bowser's Dinner Date", as the two were dinning together at the end of the episode. Luigi even agrees with Toad that the food looks nice.
Status: Friends/Neutral (formerly Enemies)
Jeffy[]
While not knowing about Jeffy until Luigi reappears in "Ghost Jeffy!", he hasn't come to know Jeffy very well only seeing that he is Mario's adopted son. It is very well known that Luigi is as nice to Jeffy as much as Rosalina is.
In "Marvin's Brother!" Luis is scared of Jeffy and tries to kill him by jumping on him when Jeffy was wearing his Ninja Turtles costume and tried to suck him up with his vacuum later on when Jeffy was wearing his ghost costume.
In "Luis The Babysitter!", Luis is seen, running around the house yelling at Jeffy for his wrongdoings, and being framed when he tries to fix Jeffy’s messes.
In "The Coolest Uncle!", Jeffy brings Luis to school for Bring Your Uncle to School Day, which he helps Jeffy get the prize, being the expandable ball toy, by taking a bite of some flowers he brought, and shooting out two fireballs, causing the school to burn down.
Status: Neutral/Enemies
Brooklyn T. Guy[]
They are most likely enemies because in "Jeffy's Lego Competition!", Brooklyn Guy stated that he stole the Poltergust from Luigi off-screen, and in the same video, Brooklyn Guy calls him a "whiny little bitch" and mocks him.
Status: Enemies
