Synopsis[]
Junior gets a credit card!
Plot[]
While Chef Pee Pee is collecting the mail, Junior receives a surprising package - his very first credit card with a hefty $10,000.00 credit limit. This shocks and confuses Chef Pee Pee, who believes that it must be a mistake due to Junior’s young age. Despite Chef Pee Pee’s concerns, Junior is determined to keep the card and is warned to be responsible with it and not overspend. However, Junior becomes consumed by the allure of his new credit card and starts making extravagant purchases, including toys, expensive clothing, an inflatable house, pizza, a kiddie pool and so forth. He even flaunts his purchases to his friends, Cody and Joseph.
However, things take a turn when Junior’s card gets declined while trying to buy slushies and sandwiches at a local convenience store. Wendy, the cashier, asks if he can afford $300, and after a failed attempt with his card, she informs him that it has been declined. Realizing that Junior has maxed out his limit, Cody suggests cutting up the card as a consequence of his irresponsible behavior. Wendy proceeds to cut up Junior’s $10,000 credit card, informing him that he cannot grab the items he attempted to purchase. Cody and Joseph abandon their own purchases as well, leaving the store empty-handed. Outside, Junior and Joseph discuss Wendy’s actions, with Cody expressing anger at Junior for disregarding his earlier warnings and reminding him of the consequences he now faces. As Cody turns to leave, Junior and Joseph are left contemplating the situation
Returning home, while Joseph leave him scared, Junior meet up with the Loan Dolphin, who had destroyed Junior’s inflatable house that he had bought, and gives him a death threat for payback. Terrified, Joseph flees away while Junior grows anxious about the dolphin’s threat. Reluctantly, Junior decides to do the right thing by paying back the Loan Dolphin, after a brief argument with Chef Pee Pee. However, when Junior tries to pay the Dolphin with three of his credit cards, meaning $15.000 one, $20.000 one, and $30.000 one, it doesn’t work out. Dolphin explains to him that he can’t use three credit cards to pay, as that’s not how it works. In frustration, Loan Dolphin takes away Junior’s purchased items instead of killing him, leading Junior to have an argument with Mr. Goodman. Mr. Goodman, jealous of Junior’s purchased items, had originally given him a card. In the end, Goodman cuts off all of Junior’s cards, leaving him feeling depressed and sad.

Differences from the original[]
- All instances of “fucked” in Goodman’s rant at the end are replaced with “screwed” to avoid demonetization.
- The swimming pool, the trampoline, the bounce house, the bills envelope, the envelope with Junior's credit card in it, the lollipops, and Junior's suit are different.
- The kids go to Footlong Bangers instead of TomThumb.
- Donald Rodriguez is replaced by Wendy Jordan.
- Instead of running off when the Loan Dolphin threatens to hurt Junior. Joseph runs off when the Loan Dolphin shows up at Junior's house.
- The Spider-Man Ball Bouncer has a different print on it.
- Goodman is wearing his black suit instead of his blue suit.
- Goodman is much more angrier at Junior than in the original.
- The limits on the gold, green and red cards are different.
- Felipe is mentioned unlike in the original.
- The credit cards were sent to Junior by Felipe, Goodman's employee. But in the original, it was Goodman himself who sent the credit cards to Junior.
- In the original, Earthy Crust played when the credit card was cut up, but that was not the case in the remake.
- Earthy Crust plays during the Loan Dolphin scene in the remake instead of Anxiety: Madness Paranoia.
- The Loan Dolphin takes away Junior's stuff even before Goodman came to lecture Junior in the original, but in here, he takes away Junior's stuff while Goodman lectures Junior.
- The majority of the things that Junior has on the couch is different than the ones in the original.
- At one point, the Loan Dolphin takes away Junior's shades while Goodman lectures Junior. However, he does not in the remake.
- The remake is shorter by one minute.
- The PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X are in the remake, unlike the original due to said consoles being released in 2020, and the original version of the video was made in 2016.
- In the original, Cody told Junior that he is 7, but in the remake he told Junior that he is 12, this heavily implied that the remakes actually take place in the present day even though they are not canon to the current SML timeline. However, this was proven false in “Jeffy’s Parents! (remake)” as Brooklyn Guy said that Jeffy is 12 when his birth certificate said he was born in 2004.
- Junior has a blue credit card instead of the red credit card. Because of this, when Junior gets 3 extra credit cards, one of them is red instead of blue. The green and gold cards do not change color.
- The hoverboard was removed in the remake.
- When Junior buys the LEGO City Space Shuttle playset and the iPhones, the boxes were not opened in the remake.
- Junior buys less iPads in the remake.
- Junior orders pizza from Domino's, but in the original he ordered from Papa John's Pizza (or it is known in the videos as Long John's Pizza).
- The letter and mail says Junior only instead of Bowser Junior due to the cease and desist letter.
- The credit card is cut up on-screen rather than off-screen in the original.
Trivia[]
- This remake was uploaded on Ariana Grande's 28th birthday, two years after "Bowser Junior's AirPods!", six years after "Black Yoshi's Money Problem!", the European Wii U Virtual Console release of Yoshi Touch & Go, and the European release of Yoshi's Woolly World, and thirteen years after the Australian/New Zealand release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
- This is the third remake to have voice clips recycled from the original video, the first being "Jeffy Sleepwalks!", and the second being "2 Tickets!".
- When Junior sees (and purchases) the Ride'em Thomas the Tank Engine toy, the audio from 2:28-3:36 has been recycled from the original video.
Errors[]
- The Goodman Bank & Trust card was inside a Capital One envelope.
- The letter Junior receives from the bank has a typo that reads "your application of a line of credit" It should be "your application for a line of credit".
- Junior, Joseph, and Cody were seen holding slushies from TomThumb inside of Footlong Bangers/Jimmy John's instead of an actual TomThumb gas station in the original.
- There shouldn’t be an Xbox Series X or PS5 because this video was originally set in 2016.
- Though, it is possible that Logan wanted the video to take place in 2021 for the remake.
- Also, Cody states that Junior is 12, when he should’ve said that he is 7 as that is how old he was at the time of the original video.
- Though, it is possible that Logan wanted the video to take place in 2021 for the remake.
- The red credit card was shown in the thumbnail instead of the blue one shown in the video.
