"Joseph the Hero!" is the 534th episode of SML Movies.
Synopsis[]
Plot[]
The video starts with Bowser Junior and Joseph on the couch. Later, Richard comes and asks them who would help him find his AirPods for 20 dollars, to which Joseph agrees. Joseph helps Richard find his AirPods on the street. Just as Goodman is about to inadvertently run his own son over with his car, Joseph, being a Paratroopa, uses his wings to zoom past the pavement (where Richard is standing) and get Richard to the other end of the road where he couldn't get run over.
Richard thanks Joseph and asks how to repay him. As Joseph comes back inside Junior's house, Richard repays him with Air-Pods, but since turtles lack ears, they have no effect on Joseph whatsoever. And knowing they don't, Joseph asks Richard for stuff he can actually take advantage of, namely, grapes, a sombrero, roller skates, a crown, and money. As Joseph demands for material goods, Junior acts as a voice of reason and reminds Joseph of how mean and greedy to Richard he is truly being. Despite this, Joseph doesn't budge and continues to demand for Richard's repayment because he had saved his life.
When Joseph finally asks for money, Richard steals $5,000 from his dad's safe at the mansion and comes back to Junior's house to give it to Joseph. He gets euphoric upon this, but is told by Junior to leave Richard alone now that he has money, and Junior succeeds to separate one another so Joseph kept from demanding Richard for stuff.
Back at Goodman's mansion, he realizes that his $5,000 are missing from his safe, which is revealed as a simple decoy and not the real deal. However, the fact that it isn't the real safe doesn't stop Goodman from caring about the stolen cash. He calls Officers Top and Officer Bottom over, reports the case to them, and they go and track down the culprit.
They search at Junior's house and find Richard. At first, he avoids admitting his mistake, but then decides to actually admit it so the officers are satisfied. Officers Top & Bottom take Richard back to the mansion. Richard explains that he had to pay Joseph, but Goodman reminds Richard that he had been grounded and could have waited 3 days (which is when he'd be ungrounded) to give Joseph what he'd owe him instead of stealing from his dad without any consent whatsoever. Goodman then tells Richard that he's going to go down to $500 a day. Upon this, Richard is sent to his room/arcade as punishment and learns that he has to be patient whenever money comes his way.

Trivia[]
- This episode goes under the 10 minute mark.
- This is possibly due to YouTube's new policy allowing mid-roll ads on videos at least 8 minutes long, where it was previously 10 minutes. This could possibly mean that on average, SML videos, along with videos on other channels, will be shorter.
- This could mean the possibility of the return of SML shorts in the future. However, because of SML shorts being 7 minutes or shorter, it‘s unlikely gonna return.
- This marks the second appearance of Officer Top and Officer Bottom. They are most likely the replacements of Brooklyn T. Guy until Chris' self quarantine is over. However, Brooklyn T. Guy returned in "Chef Pee Pee Goes To Hollywood!" it might mean that Officer Top and Officer Bottom getting possibly fired.
- This episode was uploaded two years after "Jeffy's Sister Returns!", five years after "Pokemon Part 5", and twelve years after "Brian Crashed His Car...".
- This episode was released the same day Logan, Adrianna, & Lovell went to meet and collaborate with Jason Derulo for a TikTok.
- When Joseph saved Richard from Goodman, it was a cropped image of them both moving fast thanks to Adobe Premiere.
- At the end of the video, Richard is thinking about what he did as a result of his actions in front of an arcade cabinet, which is the same one that Charleyyy plays in "Jeffy and Junior's Big Heist!".
- When Richard types in the password for the safe, the password "66639" spells out "money", as seen on the number pad.
- Coincidentally, the first three digit numbers are Craig the Devil's favorite numbers. While possibly a coincidence, this could be referencing how people consider money to be "The root of all evil."
- This is the second time Richard steals from his dad, the first being "Mr. Goodman's Son!".
- This episode reveals that Mr. Goodman has a decoy safe used to fool robbers.
- This video was heavily panned by fans because of Joseph's rude and bossy behavior towards Richard in this video.
- This video shares some similarities to "Bowser Junior Almost Goes to Sleep Forever!" with both videos revolving on a character (both protrayed by Lovell) saving someone's life but after saving their lives, they will treat them as a servant. The difference is that unlike Joseph Chef Pee Pee got his comeuppance while Joseph gets away with it.
- This is the last SML Movie where Brooklyn T. Guy is absent before he returns from his hiatus.
- In the new thumbnail, Goodman's blue Audi R8 was replaced by blue Jaguar F-Type.

- Joseph saving Richard from getting hit by a car bear some similarities to Stewie saving Brian from getting hit on a Family Guy Christmas special and Heckyl saving Kendall in Power Rangers: Dino Charge.
Errors[]
- When Richard took the money, he should have noticed there being no money left.
- In the description of the video, it should've said "https://smlmerch.com", except it was mistakenly named as "htttp://smlmerch.com".
- Joseph stated that the AirPods Pro costs $200, however, it costs $250. It is possible he just forgot or was estimating.
