Jimmy Butler III is a famous American basketball player for the Miami Heat. He is a 6-time NBA All-Star, a 5-time All-NBA Team honoree, and more. He is known for being Brooklyn Guy's favorite basketball player. Brooklyn Guy is shown being obsessive with him, he even wants Jimmy to marry him (suggesting that he might be bisexual). Jimmy has appeared a few times, mostly on TV, one in person, and he appeared as a plush in Brooklyn Guy's Depression!.
Starting in Brooklyn Guy's Depression!, Brooklyn Guy stopped liking Jimmy, because he let the Denver Nuggets win in the 2023 NBA Finals. In following appearances, Jimmy is shown to be more interested in Coffee than playing Basketball, right down to the point where he literally doesn't want anything to do with Basketball, let alone remember what it even is.
Personality[]
Jimmy has rarely appeared in SML, with his only speaking role being in, Brooklyn Guy's Depression! When Brooklyn Guy asks Jimmy why he was playing horribly, he explained that he felt bad for the Denver Nuggets as they have never won a championship, so he let them win. He cheers up Brooklyn Guy by telling him he will win next season. This shows that Jimmy has sympathy for his rivals.
In recent episodes, Jimmy is shown to completely forget about Basketball for something he believes is more important, Coffee. This is revealed in Bad Super Bowl Commercials! that if he had to choose between Basketball and Coffee, he'd always choose Coffee, meaning he doesn't care about basketball anymore.
This Coffee addiction climaxed in Brooklyn Guy Tries To Help!, where Coffee is pretty much the only thing Jimmy does, nothing else, not even giving regards to Basketball. Throughout the episode, whenever Brooklyn Guy or Nurse Susan tried to get Jimmy to do something Basketball-related, it always ended up with something Coffee-related, making Brooklyn Guy cry each time he failed to do something. Even when Brooklyn Guy tried taking Jimmy to Addictions Anonymous, Jimmy denied having a Coffee addiction. His addiction goes as far as to the point where when someone tries to get him to say "Basketball" he always says "Coffee" instead. Almost as if he doesn't know what Basketball, or anything else for that matter, is, except for Coffee and only Coffee. His addiction shows he drinks it all time, as well as makes it, and even bathes in it. Eventually, Brooklyn Guy shot Jimmy, to "put him out of his misery".

When he speaks to Brooklyn Guy in "Brooklyn Guy's Depression!", He is shown to be friendly and kind to him. He explains why he lost, and even cheers him up by promising Brooklyn Guy that he will win next season. However, as time goes on, Brooklyn Guy soon loses interest in Jimmy, because of the latter's Coffee Addiction.
