"Jeffy The News Anchor!" is the 895th episode of SML Movies.
Synopsis[]
Jeffy works for the news!
Plot[]
Mr. Goodman announces that he is stepping down from the news as the anchor, citing that he doesn't really need the job. A new position is immediately opened for the anchor, so Marvin and Jeffy go to apply for it. Marvin fails for not having an enough entertaining story and poor execution, but Jeffy excels at it and is hired immediately. But when Jeffy first gets on air, he screams at the camera, forcing the directors to cut to commercial.
Jeffy explains that he's scared to do it alone, so he is given a toy giraffe to help his fear. However, he starts messing around with the giraffe on camera, prompting another cut to commercial. Jeffy settles for putting the giraffe below the camera so he won't get scared, but when he starts actually talking, he goes off-script and reads the events of 9/11, leading to his instant resignation. Marvin tries covering for him, but goes off-script too and is forced to leave with Jeffy.
Unbeknownst to them, Jeffy's coverage of the news surprisingly got good reviews. He is instantly contacted to get back onto the team, which he accepts under the condition that he gets his giraffe with him. Fed up with all the nonsense, Marvin decides that enough is enough and notifies Goodman about the whole mess. Goodman becomes angered and fires Jeffy on the spot from his job as the CEO of the news, instantly returning to the news as the main anchor. Jeffy leaves with the giraffe, and proceeds to blow bubbles.

- Teleprompters can be bought online but they could not since due to how overpriced they are.
- At about 1:40, Brooklyn Guy says “Hey there you hear about news anchor position?” and Marvin says “I sure am”.
