"Jeffy Sleepwalks!" is the remake of Jeffy Sleepwalks! and the second remade SML video to be featured on Logan's newest channel.
Synopsis[]
Jeffy starts sleepwalking!
Plot[]
The video begins with Marvin putting Jeffy to sleep. Marvin explains Jeffy that he can sleep on the bed and Jeffy can sleep on the floor. Marvin tries to put Jeffy's PJ's on but Jeffy refuses and instead wants to sleep in his "big boy pants". Marvin explains to Jeffy that while he would like Jeffy to sleep in his big boy pants, he can't let him due to Jeffy always pooping in them during the night. Jeffy begins to poop in his pants right after Marvin finishes his sentence. Annoyed, Marvin puts a blanket over him and tells Jeffy that he has to sleep in his now pooped pants.
Jeffy complains, but Marvin refuses. Jeffy then asks Marvin if he can play his cat piano. Of course, Marvin says no. But Jeffy begins to play his piano regardless until Marvin takes it out of his hands and throws it away, taking off his hat in the progress. Jeffy begins to complain again and asks for cereal, but Marvin tells him that he won't have cereal until morning.
Jeffy then says he wants Froot Loops. Marvin repeats that he'll give him Froot Loops in the morning, Only for Jeffy to say, "With milk." Marvin once again refuses, saying rather irritated, "In the morning Jeffy!" and Jeffy gives a short yell at Marvin. After an awkward silence, Mario just tells Jeffy to go to sleep. Marvin proceeds to turn the light off, but after doing so Jeffy screams and Mario turns back the light on in shock. Marvin asks what's wrong, but Jeffy denies that he was the one who screamed. Marvin goes to turn off the light again, but Jeffy screams once more.
Marvin, becoming even more annoyed, yells at Jeffy to stop, but Jeffy denies that it's him. Marvin then turns the light off once more, this time catching Jeffy screaming. Marvin points out he saw him, but Jeffy still refuses to say it's him. Marvin, angry, begins to flicker the light on and off, on and off, on and off. Jeffy rapidly screaming over and over again. After scolding Jeffy, Marvin turns the light off for real this time and Jeffy continues to scream.
Marvin tells Jeffy to stop it, but Jeffy wants his night light. Marvin tells him he can't have it and tells him to go to bed. Jeffy then says "what if the Boogeyman comes after me?" with Marvin replying that kids in pooped pants aren't taken by the Boogeyman. Jeffy then poops his pants again. Marvin, now furious and tired, changes his mind, saying Jeffy that the Boogeyman loves kids with poops in pants, but Jeffy replies him that it's too late for pooping his pants. Marvin hops into bed. And as he is about to go to sleep, he hears the cat piano. Mario turns to look at Jeffy, playing the piano. Marvin immediately throws the cat piano down the stairs, probably damaging or breaking it.
Jeffy asks where is his cat piano and Marvin says he ate it, Jeffy repetitively asks why Marvin ate his piano until he tells Jeffy to go to sleep. Marvin threatens to staple his eyelids shut. Confused, Jeffy asks, "Why would you do that? First you eat my cat piano, then you want to staple my eyelids shut." Marvin yells at Jeffy to go to sleep and Jeffy makes a long 'uhhhhhhhhhhhhh' sound. Jeffy and Marvin sleep.
It cuts to a scene where Jeffy sleepwalks towards the kitchen and makes Froot Loops. Jeffy breaks a bowl, pours the cereal and milk all over the counter and brings a spoon of cereal into his bed. He falls asleep and hits his head on Marvin's bed, causing the latter to wake up. Marvin then walks to the kitchen to get a glass of water, finding the big mess.
Marvin calls Brooklyn T. Guy, who questions him whether he did the mess. After a brief conversation, Marvin realizes that it was Jeffy, then wakes him up and brings him into the kitchen. Jeffy then lies about him not making the mess, and they both find a trail of Froot Loops leading to Marvin's bedroom and onto Jeffy's bed. Jeffy pins the clues on Marvin and lies about not making the mess. Marvin sets up a camera so that he could catch Jeffy. After Jeffy wakes him up, Marvin goes to the living room and finds another huge mess.
After questioning Jeffy on it, Marvin heads to his security cameras. It turns out Marvin caught the video he was looking for but Jeffy denies that he was the one messing up. Then Marvin calls Jeffy a bad boy and Jeffy cries and bangs his head against the wall like he usually does when called like that. Marvin later catches Jeffy walking out of the room and assumes him to be sleepwalking. Marvin then wakes Jeffy up and apologizes to him, but gets angry once Jeffy tells him he was just doing stuff with his eyes closed. Marvin then starts crying and Jeffy looked for him with his shut eyes, ending the episode.
Characters[]
Differences from the original[]
- Unlike the original video, Brooklyn T. Guy appears in the remake.
- Mario sleeps in Bowser Jr and Chef Pee Pee’s Room/Playroom instead of his own, which is the master bedroom (in the new house), while sleeping on the bunk bed instead of a normal bed as similar to the one seen in the original video.
- Instead of Jeffy sleeping in his crib, Jeffy sleeps on the floor in the remake, likely due to Logan getting rid of the crib after having Jeffy destroying it a few times.
- When Jeffy plays his cat piano, Mario beats Jeffy instead of confiscating the cat piano.
- Mario throws the Cat Piano down the stairs instead of out the window.
- Jeffy falls down the stairs, which was not in the original.
- Jeffy bets $5 in the remake but didn't bet anything in the original.
- Jeffy says that Froot Loops looks like little buttholes.
- Mario didn't ground Jeffy harder unlike the original video.
- The events that happens in the remake happened on the same night, while in the original, the events happened on three separate nights.
- The Boogeyman is mentioned more often in this video, while in the original, he was only mentioned a couple of times.
- In the remake, Jeffy sings "The Circle of Life" from The Lion King during the third time he gets up.
- Mario wakes up in the middle of the night in the remake, but he woke up in the morning in the original.
Trivia[]
- This remake was uploaded three years after "Jeffy Gets Glasses!", four years after "Jeffy's Tantrum!", eight years after "The Funniest Joke Ever", and nine years after "Disney World".
- Some voice clips were recycled from the original video.
- This is the first remake to feature a character who never appeared in the original video.
Errors[]
- Mario sleeps in Jeffy, Junior, and Chef Pee Pee’s bedroom/playroom, instead of sleeping in his own room, which is the master bedroom, and while also sleeping in a bunk bed instead of a normal bed, similar to the one seen in the original video.
- This is possibly to match the storyline where he originally shared a bedroom with Jeffy before Rosalina moved in with him, and when Jeffy got his own bedroom, and also to allow Jeffy to be seen on camera sleeping next to Mario with the lower bunk being low enough for him to be seen sleeping next to Mario, but on the floor since Logan got rid of the crib after the number of damages it got when he had Jeffy smash it in various types of videos before.
- It's unknown how Mario didn't see the Froot Loops trail when he got out of bed.
- The security footage is dated January 27, 1993, which is incorrect.
- The time of the footage is also 16:00, which is 4:00 PM, despite having taken place at night.
