"Jeffy's New Friend!" is the 509th episode of SML Movies.
Synopsis[]
Jeffy has to be friends with someone he doesn't like!
Plot[]
The video begins with Jackie Chu teaching his class how to make an egg drop soup. He then teaches them how to make an orange chicken, and grabs out Pumpkin, who Jackie Chu thinks is an orange chicken. While Jackie Chu is teaching, Bully Bill, who is in human form is trying to get Jeffy's attention by calling him a loser. Jeffy gets annoyed and beats up Bully Bill. Jeffy then gets suspended.
At home, Rosalina asks Mario if he noticed that she got new eye contacts. They decide to watch TV, but it angered Mario when he found out that Jeffy got suspended from school. Mario and Rosalina then invite Bully Bill to Jeffy's house although Jeffy didn't want to. Mario called Bully Bill on the phone, and began bullying Mario by calling him bald and even attempted to throw an egg at Mario.
Mario and Rosalina decides to call the cops, who Brooklyn T. Guy was taking a day off, while his wife took over his job. As Karen was very lazy, Brooklyn T. Guy had to tell her what to do. Karen drew a stick figured guy with black hair and a black shirt to try to find Bully Bill, but on the first attempt she found a stickman that looked nothing like Bully Bill. She then found Bully Bill and wanted to arrest him, but Mario chose not to press charges. As Bully Bill was from an abusive family, Mario wanted to see what a good family was like. Karen let Bully Bill free and did not arrest him, but Bully Bill and Jeffy began fighting and Mario tried to break up the fighting, but they continued to fight. Mario told them to go into Jeffy's playroom, but Jeffy starts to bully Bully Bill and they fight again. He asked the boys who started the fight, and Bully Bill said Jeffy started it. But Jeffy said Bully Bill started it. Mario trusted Bully Bill more so he believed Jeffy started it. Mario told the boys to go into the kitchen to make themselves a snack. Jeffy begins throwing eggs at the wall and so does Bully Bill and the boys finally learn to get along.

Trivia[]
- This is a continuation of both "The Human Potion!" and "Jeffy's New Dad!".
- This is the first time the Bully Bill and Rosalina puppets are shown. They were drawn by Elaina.
- This is the first time since "The School Dance!" to have Junior and other Nintendo characters in their human/puppet forms. Although Logan did state that he has to do at least one puppet video per month due to a contract he has signed with the company behind the puppets.
- However, this is most likely false as there were no videos involving the puppets in March or April. It is possible that the real reason the puppets are still used is to promote SML merch sales as the Bully Bill and Rosalina puppets were new in this video and "The School Dance!" was released on the last day to get the puppets on sale.
- In "The Baseball Game!", Logan confirmed that the Human puppets will not return and that all videos that contained the human puppet versions of the plush characters are now non-canon.
- However, the human puppets returned in "Hunky Cody!".
- However, this is most likely false as there were no videos involving the puppets in March or April. It is possible that the real reason the puppets are still used is to promote SML merch sales as the Bully Bill and Rosalina puppets were new in this video and "The School Dance!" was released on the last day to get the puppets on sale.
- There are references made to Mario and Rosalina's plush designs.
- Rosalina being vegan is canon because she last said it in "Rich Mario!".
- Though, she is seen at Jimmy Johns in "Jeffy's Online School!" meaning she is flexitarian or is lying about being vegan and is playing dumb on Mario and Jeffy. Then again, the use of puppet forms makes a video non-canon.
- In a part of the video, Jeffy's Cat Piano can be seen when Jackie Chu is talking. This is because the classroom is actually a room in the house.
- Rosalina is revealed to have eye contacts in this episode and can see better now.
- The egg drop soup from "Chef Pee Pee Gets Sick!" is referenced in this video.
- Once again, the video got disliked because of Rosalina and Mario appearing as puppets instead of plushies, a controversial idea disliked by many fans. Because of this, this video has been deemed non-canon by the majority of the SML Fandom/Community, due to the backlash Logan has received.
- Patrick's blue helmet from "Jeffy Breaks His Helmet!" and "Jeffy's Sister Returns!" returns in this episode.
- Jeffy used a different word instead of I didn't have to which is I didn't want to and Mario says Oh yeah yeah for the first time in the video.
- This episode was uploaded four years after "Bowser Junior Learns Karate!", and five years after "Chef Poo Poo's Kitchen Disaster!".
- In the production of this episode, Jeffy's pencil eraser broke, so they had to get a new pencil.
- Jeffy mentioning the editor breaks the fourth wall.
- If you look closely, when Jeffy throws the can of green beans at the fridge, the can causes a dent in the fridge.
- In Lance Thirtyacre's BTS, Lovell did the voice of Bully Bill in the same room when Logan filmed the phone scene, then they'd have to sync the puppet to match Lovell.
- A large Super Mushroom plush can be seen in the back of Mario's living room.
- This episode was uploaded four years after "Bowser Junior Learns Karate!". Coincidentally, both episodes focus on Bully Bill.
- This is the first time Bully Bill mentions his dad being him present.
- This is Rosalina and Bully Bill's only human puppet appearance in 2020, and Rosalina's only appearance in human form in the Jeffy Era.

- Jeffy calling Bully Bill "Pyramid Head" could be a reference to the humanoid monster character from Silent Hill.
- Bully Bill's human/puppet design is a reference to the character Buford van Stomm from Phineas and Ferb. This makes Buford the second character from the show to be referenced in SML, the first being Perry the Platypus, who was mentioned in "The Costume Contest!". This is also the third time the Phineas and Ferb universe is referenced. The second was in "The School Dance!", wherein Cody referenced the Milo Murphy's Law theme song.
- Bully Bill's puppet design also resembles Francis from The Fairly OddParents.
- When Jeffy comes in the house and sees Mario and Rosalina he shouts "Who are you people?!" this could be a reference to the SpongeBob SquarePants episodes, "Prehibernation Week", where at the end of the episode, Patrick Star shouts the same line once he notices a mob of people hiding inside his rock house, and "I'm With Stupid", where Patrick reveals that the starfish couple visiting him are in fact not his parents despite him thinking otherwise.
- When Mario found out that Jeffy got in trouble, Jeffy says in a goofy voice "You bet your sweet bippy I did!", referencing a scene from the Ed Edd n Eddy episode "Every Which Way but Ed" where Ed said the same line. Brooklyn Guy referenced the same line in "Bowser Junior Needs Help!".
- Logan appearing in the video eating McDonald's is a reference to Lance's vlogs, as in nearly every one of them, Logan is shown with his friends eating McDonald's even though Adriana is vegan. This also marks the fourth time that a cast member appeared on screen intentionally, the first time was "Bowser Junior's Summer School" the second time was "The Magical Button!", and the third time was "Bowser Junior Almost Goes to Sleep Forever!".
- This video is similar to the Max and Ruby episode "Max Meets Morris".
Errors[]
- Y U DUMB? Elementary School is open again in this video.
- However, this is non-canon, so it could be in an alternate timeline where the Coronavirus is not present or maybe the students are going hybrid.
- However, Brooklyn Guy was on FaceTime and that started because of the Coronavirus pandemic. Although, in the video he states that he was upset with how lazy Karen is and wanted her to try his job for a day while he stays home.
- Also Bully Bill is voiced by Lovell Stanton because Chris Netherton is unable to film at Logan's house, due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic which is why Bully Bill's voice noticeably resembles Bowser's.
- This could possibly take place after the 2 months, because Jackie mentioned in "Jeffy Goes to Disney World!" that they had to stay off school for 2 months.
- Logan did say in the BTS for this video that the reason for the school being open was because he didn’t know where else the Bully puppet would debut.
- However, this is non-canon, so it could be in an alternate timeline where the Coronavirus is not present or maybe the students are going hybrid.
- There is no explanation on how Rosalina and Bully Bill became puppets, as Mario, Bowser, Junior, Joseph and Cody transformed by different reasons.
- Joseph's shirt, hat and shoes are still green, even though he recently got a red shell that would be used in every video. So, it is unknown why Joseph wouldn't have a red shirt, red hat and red shoes in this video.
- Then again, the puppet videos are considered non-canon, so it could also be an alternate timeline where Joseph still wears green.
- Toad is not seen in his seat, despite it being able to be seen when Logan is in the classroom eating McDonald's. But, then again, this video is non-canon, like mentioned above.
- There are eggs missing in the carton of eggs that Jeffy and the Bully throw at the fridge; that's because some eggs were used for Jackie Chu and the Bully earlier.
- The camera gets a bit blurry at 2:07.
- In various scenes of the video, you can see Lance's arm.
- The Bully says "Say less" before throwing the eggs at Mario's house, when he meant to say "say no more".
