Synopsis[]
Jeffy keeps lying!
Plot[]
Marvin, Rose, and Pumpkin are all at the dinner table. Marvin yells at Pumpkin then Pumpkin jumps of the table. Marvin then calls Jeffy in for dinner. Jeffy comes to the table and is disgusted to find that he's being served green beans again. Marvin has put raisins in them to make them taste better, while he and Rose eat Mac and Cheese with raisins. Jeffy somehow was able to get Marvin to let him go to his room to eat his green beans, so he leaves the table while Marvin and Rose. Jeffy goes to the front door, opens it, and takes the plate of green beans outside. He dumps the green beans in the bushes outside and goes back in, leaving the door open, unknowingly letting Pumpkin out.
Marvin and Rose finish eating their dinner and Marvin goes to check if Jeffy ate his. Before going upstairs, Marvin notices that the front door is open, much to his horror as he thinks Pumpkin escaped. Marvin tells Rose this, much to her horror as well and they both go looking around the house trying to find Pumpkin to no avail. Marvin decides to check if Pumpkin is in Jeffy's room.
Marvin goes upstairs to Jeffy's Room to ask him where Pumpkin is. Jeffy has no idea and denies leaving the door open or throwing away his green beans. When Marvin wants Jeffy to reconfirm the truth, Jeffy starts spouting out nonsense, not taking the situation seriously. Marvin, annoyed, tells Jeffy to tell them if he sees Pumpkin and leaves his room.
At the red couch, Rose is crying and says she finished printing out several fliers about their missing cat, but Marvin points out that she forgot a picture of Pumpkin. So, Rose reprints them but due to using up all the ink for the previous fliers all of the pictures of Pumpkin are in black and white. Rose suggests putting the fliers on stop signs. Marvin objects to that at first, but ultimately agrees to put them on a few stop signs.
Marvin and Rose just got back from hanging up the fliers when Brooklyn Guy shows up in his cop outfit. He states due to the fliers being on the stop signs, he t-boned into a mini-van that had a family of 6 inside, killing 2 of them and putting the rest in the hospital. After talking about what Pumpkin looked like, Brooklyn Guy then asks how their cat got out. Marvin explains the door was open as well as asking Jeffy, to which he said no. Brooklyn Guy assumes Jeffy was lying, and states he has a lie detector in his car to test him. Marvin agrees to see if Jeffy is actually lying or not.
Brooklyn Guy brings in the lie detecting machine. He explains if someone is telling the truth, a green light would go. they put a helmet on and if they tell a lie, then the red light would go on. And if they tell a super lie the horn on the machine will go off and say "LIAR" in his voice. They all test the machine except for Rose, who runs off, and then Marvin calls Jeffy in the room.
Jeffy comes in and the 2 explain that they have a lie detector to check if Jeffy was lying about leaving the door open. After explaining how the lie detector works, Marvin asks if Jeffy left the front door open. Jeffy confirms he did, and the lie detector confirms he's telling the truth. He says he decided to tell the truth now since they were going to find out about it anyways. Jeffy then truthfully tells them that he doesn't know where Pumpkin is, and he purposefully left the front door open. He also confirmed that he used Pumpkin as toilet paper one time, which makes Marvin ground him during the entire weekend. Jeffy lies about staying in his room during this time and then leaves. Marvin and Brooklyn Guy are left stumped as to how they can find Pumpkin now. Brooklyn Guy decides to leave the lie detector on the couch for Marvin to mess with.
After messing around with the lie detector some more, Marvin hears the doorbell ring and goes to answer it. It turns out to be Mr. Goodman, who has Pumpkin. Marvin is happy he found him, and Mr. Goodman asks about getting a reward. Marvin tells him to come inside to discuss about the reward. They come on the couch and Rose is happy to see Pumpkin back. Goodman explains he almost hit Pumpkin, and only stopped as to not damage his car. Goodman demands his reward, but Rose admitted that she doesn't have a reward which anger Goodman. Goodman said he came to Marvin's house to get his house payment. Marvin lies about having it, to which Goodman puts the lie detecting helmet on Marvin and asks about his house payment. Marvin tries to lie his way out of it but the machine keeps declaring him a liar every time he does so. Goodman puts the helmet on, and truthfully tells Marvin about what he's going to do to him in gruesome detail. After which, Marvin runs with Goodman following closely behind him.

- Marvin once again repeatedly feeding Jeffy green beans.
- Marvin repeatedly calling the lie detector a time machine when he means to say "lie detector" and Brooklyn Guy telling Marvin that it's not a time machine and that it's a lie detector.
- Jeffy saying "Ol' (thing) dick, (what the thing actually does) n' shit".
- This marks another time the word "Liar/Lie" is in the thumbnail. The first being "Jeffy's Lie!" and second being "Brooklyn Guy The Liar!".
- This episode was uploaded 3 years after "Mr. Goodman's Clone!" and 16 years after "Wii Fit "Unboxing and Gameplay"".
- The phone number on the missing posters is the Hogwarts hotline.
- Even though the video's called "Jeffy's Lie Detector", it's actually Brooklyn T. Guy's lie detector and not Jeffy's lie detector.
- At one point of the video, the lie detector's red and green lightbulbs lit up at the same time which would be an impossible outcome.
- It's revealed Marvin, Rose and Jeffy still have Pumpkin as their pet since "Jeffy The Sheep!".
Errors[]
- In some scenes, the cast can be heard breaking character.
- In the thumbnail, the laptop was used to indicate that your telling the truth or lying but in the video a machine is used and also the lie detector helmet is different too.
- Marvin mistakes that raisins are grapes but they are actually dried grapes.
- When Jeffy threw the green beans and raisins, one green bean can still be seen on the plate. That green bean was gone in the next scene.
- At 9:12, the Lie Detector responds to Brooklyn Guy even though he isn't wearing the helmet.
