"Jeffy's Imaginary Friend!" is the 420th episode of SML Movies and the seventh episode of Third Grade.
Synopsis[]
Jeffy has no friends so he makes an imaginary friend!
Plot[]
The video starts off with Jackie Chu teaching the class about dodo birds. Jackie Chu explains that the dodo bird died because nobody liked it since it smelled like Poop. Jackie then teaches the word Extinct. He says Extinct means no longer existing. After that Jackie Chu gives an example of Extinct: Girl in China soon to be extinct. Bowser Junior then mentions Joseph's Mom and Joseph's Dad are extinct. Joseph starts crying when he got reminded of his mom's fake death.
Jackie Chu explains why the Play-Doh was in front of everybody. It was not for them to eat. Everybody was upset when Jackie Chu said that. It was for them to do their partner project on a made-up extinct animal. They were supposed to pick a partner and combine their Play-Doh to make up an animal that could have gone extinct. Bowser Junior gets happy when he finds out that the class can choose partners. Junior decides to pair up with Cody, but Joseph says he wanted to be Bowser Junior's partner. Instead, Joseph decides to pair up with Toad, to which Toad agrees. Patrick makes his pink Play-Doh a long tongue and puts it in his mouth before Bully Bill asks him to be his partner, which Patrick agrees to. Jeffy raises his hand and says he does not have a partner. Jackie Chu says that Jeffy doesn't have a partner because he does not have any friends. Chu then pulls out extra Play-Doh and throws it onto Jeffy's desk.
At home, Jeffy tells Mario that his day went terrible then tells him what happened at school. Mario tells Jeffy that he has no friends because he wears a diaper and is 14 years old. Mario then tells Jeffy to make friends. In the playroom, Jeffy creates a Play-Doh animal to look like Bunghole, a blue furry monster with green hair that he made to be his friend. Bunghole comes right behind Jeffy after he wishes that he was red, and they become friends forever. In the game room, Jeffy shows Bunghole to Mario, but he does not see him. Mario eventually calls Brooklyn Guy. Brooklyn Guy tells Mario that Bunghole is Jeffy’s imaginary friend, saying that everyone's got an imaginary friend. We then see that Brooklyn Guy also has an imaginary friend named Booger, who is an annoying green monster that was made up by Brooklyn Guy since he used to pick his boogers during school. After Brooklyn Guy leaves, Mario tries to explain to Jeffy that he just has an imaginary friend, but Jeffy denies it.
Dinnertime, Jeffy, and Bunghole are served green beans. Bunghole uses his demonic voice to tell Jeffy to throw the green beans at Mario. Jeffy throws his dish of green beans on Mario. Suddenly Mario gets furious at Jeffy and confronts him, managing who was the one who did this, but Jeffy figures out it was Bunghole who did it, leading Mario and asking if Bunghole is making everything up. After Jeffy figures it is his imaginary friend, He angrily confronts him, and he grounds Jeffy by sending him and Bunghole to the crib, telling him that he's not allowed to do anything but go to school, get into his room, and go to sleep. But Jeffy asks Mario if it wasn't his fault, because it was Bunghole who suggested he did it after he made it up for him. But Mario tells him there's no such thing as somebody called "Bunghole", meaning he asked him that he just made that person up so that he does bad stuff, and saying that Jeffy's grounded after doing a dangerous antic towards Mario. After he leaves, Jeffy asks Bunghole that he got him in trouble, but then Bunghole manages to say they're best friends together, so Jeffy asks him if they need to sleep before they can go to school.
At school, Jackie Chu looks at the projects. Patrick and Bully Bill made a piece of poop with bubble gum all over it. They receive a D+. Bully Bill accepts the grade. Bowser Junior and Cody made a dog with a big crank. They receive an A+. Toad and Joseph made a frog with chicken pox on its back. They receive a B- for not covering the whole body with chicken pox. Chu goes over to Jeffy. His project is nowhere to be seen. Jeffy gets an F. Bunghole is furious. He tells Jeffy to throw the chair at Chu, but Jeffy worries that he might get in trouble. He throws his chair at the teacher anyway which causes Cody, Junior and the other students shocked that he assaulted Jackie Chu. Bunghole laughs then congratulates Jeffy and Jackie Chu wakes up and calls the cops on Jeffy, getting him arrested off-screen.
At home, Jeffy is wearing handcuffs which makes Mario really furious. Brooklyn Guy shows up and tells Mario about the incident and that Jackie Chu pressed charges. Jeffy says that Bunghole told him to do it. Brooklyn Guy brought Booger with him, and he attempts to arrest Bunghole, but a cracking sound is heard. Brooklyn Guy thinks he killed Bunghole, but he was still alive. Brooklyn Guy then realizes he killed Booger after seeing him dead. Now, Brooklyn Guy has to bring him back to kill Bunghole. Mario tells him to pick his nose, but he swore he would never do that again after middle school. Mario encourages him to do it, and he does. Brooklyn Guy then asks Mario to call him a nose picker, and Mario does so. Booger comes back to life and says that Brooklyn Guy's the man. Brooklyn Guy then asks Booger if he wants to know who think he's not the man, and tells him it's Bunghole, whom Booger describes as "the blue furry one". Brooklyn Guy can't see Bunghole and tells Booger that Bunghole is saying that HE is the man and Brooklyn T. Guy is not the man.
Booger gets a pistol but it's imaginary bullets. Booger shoots Bunghole and Jeffy freaks out while Bunghole is dead. Brooklyn Guy tells Booger to stop shooting. Jeffy shouts "There's blood everywhere!". Brooklyn Guy says "Booger! Calm down! You don't have to teabag his corpse." Mario couldn't see anything, so he asks what is going on. Brooklyn T Guy responds that Booger killed Bunghole. Mario has a red couch because there's blood everywhere. Brooklyn Guy thanks Booger for getting rid of Bunghole. Booger keeps saying that Brooklyn Guy's the man, and Brooklyn Guy keeps saying that Booger's the man. The camera then switches to Brooklyn Guy, who seems to be talking to no one. He then leaves after being pissed off by Booger. Jeffy starts crying over Bunghole's death, but Mario tells him that he would cheer Jeffy up, and that he will run to lunch with him as the episode ends.

Trivia[]
- This is the first appearance of Toad and Patrick in 2019.
- This is Toad's first appearance since "Chef Pee Pee's New Job".
- This is Patrick’s first appearance since "Jeffy's Sister Returns!", and his first first physical appearance since "Black Yoshi's Job Interview!".
- This marks the first appearance of Booger and Bunghole.
- This episode was uploaded two years after "The Bake Sale!", nine years after "Toad's Mistake 2" and eleven years after "Everybody Hates Toad "Animation"".
- The ending where Mario says that Jeffy is his best friend is similar to the ending of "Fountain Of Youth!", where Junior says to Bowser that he's still cool to him even when he's old.
- Jeffy made Bunghole out of Play-Doh and suddenly came to life, similar to how Junior and Jeffy made Gumbo out of Play-Doh and did the same thing in "Drawing Jeffy!".
- This episode reveals that Jeffy is a fan of Naruto.
- Bunghole sounds a lot like Luigi, and Booger sounds similar to Kirby. This is because all 4 are voiced by Anthony Miller. Coincidentally, Kirby and Luigi are main/recurring characters on Anthony's channel, KirbStomp.
- This is the last episode where Mario says "fuck".
Errors[]
- At 1:02, a bit of Lovell's mouth can be seen on the top right while Toad asks Joseph to be his partner.
- At 9:43, when Jeffy throws his chair at Jackie Chu, the chairs legs are outward, but in the next scene Jackie gets hit by the seat.
- When Junior says Joseph's parents are extinct, however, it was revealed that in "Joseph's Mom!" that Joseph's Mom faked her death. Although, this is not the first time this has happened, and may just be a simple inconsistency. Junior may however be referring to how his mother's love for Joseph is extinct.
- When Jackie Chu asks Bowser Junior and Cody how their big dog has gone extinct, extinct is instead pronounced ex-tinc.
- Jeffy says he doesn’t have friends when he does.
