Synopsis[]
Jeffy has a BIG idea!
Plot[]
The episode starts with Mario announcing to Jeffy that today is Rosalina and Mario's 5-year anniversary and Mario bought her a star. Jeffy is confused because they can't go to the star, but they only look at it. Rosalina is approaching they surprise her with the star, Rosalina forgot to get Mario a present, but she is going to "make it up to him later". Rosalina and Mario then go to look at the star. Super D and Simmons are discussing that he sold Mario a fake star and Simmons is going to steal Rosalina's purse and Super D will beat him up. After Mario falsely sees his "star" Simmons attacks Rosalina and Mario does nothing. Super D arrives and fake punches Simmons making him thrown against the wall and passes out. Rosalina calls out that Mario did nothing to help her and Super D and Rosalina go inside. Mario is enraged, Mario forces Super D to leave. Rosalina is still upset that Mario did nothing, Mario is making up fake excuses that why he could not fight back. Mario is then called out for being the shortest of the group. Mario then decides to protect Rosalina next time because he is a man. Back outside Super D asks Simmons to break into Mario's house and Mario can't do anything about it. Simmons then goes along with it and breaks in. Mario then fakes to go to the bathroom to call the cops. Jeffy then beats up Simmons before Super D arrives and calls him out. Mario returns from the Bathroom and he called "911" but Jeffy already stopped him. Rosalina is disappointed and leaves the room along with Super D. Mario then decides to call Brooklyn Guy to tell him that he wants to be bigger, Brooklyn Guy then mistaken him for wanting to enlarge "a particular body part". Jeffy then tells Mario that why does he not eat a mushroom from one of the Super Mario games. Mario goes to the Loan Dolphin and he gives him two mushrooms but they have weird side affects by eating someone's face and talks to chairs and trees. Mario then takes the mushrooms and then eats the small one first and fakes eating his face. He then eats it for real and then grows bigger, Mario then eats another mushroom and grows enlarge and is now taller than Jeffy. Super D wants to kiss Rosalina but she is married. She wants to get away and then Mario lands on him destroying and suffocating him. The Mushroom affects ran out. Rosalina did not mean what she said to Mario about being really big and she just wanted to protect him. Super D is complaining about being paralyzed and they leave him. Simmons attacks Rosalina but Mario fake punches and goes to pay him $20, thus ending the video.

- This is the 550th SML Movie.
- Compared to the original thumbnail, the remade one has Super D and Rose, while the mushrooms were replaced with a potion.
- This video is based on the New Super Mario Bros games.
- This video was going to be called "Mario's Big Idea" but the title had Jeffy's name both due to a large portion of Logan's fanbase only watching for Jeffy, and because Jeffy was the one who came up with the idea.
- Or maybe it's because Logan does not want to put Mario or Luigi's name on the title because it might cause demonetization.
- So "Mario Sells Jeffy!" is the final SML movie to have Mario's name on the title. But it changed later to "Jeffy's Dad Sells Jeffy!", in 2021.

- This is the first time Mario has acted heroic since the Old Era.

- At one point the fourth wall is broken when Mario mentions that Lance, the actor of Jeffy will play another character in the next scene. Additionally, Brooklyn Guy references Logan's popular viewership tactic of adding Jeffy’s name to the title of the video to increase view counts.

Errors[]
- Brooklyn Guy should have known who Super D was because he met him in "Jeffy's 16th Birthday!". It is possible he forgot.
- Super D said that Rosalina is Mario's girlfriend even though they are married and Rosalina told him so in "Jeffy's 16th Birthday!" but it's possible he forgot about it.
- Super D could have just used his "divorce vision" on Mario and Rosalina although it's possible he was just joking in "Jeffy's 16th Birthday!" and he doesn't actually have it.
- At 3:36, a pole, presumably a light for studio equipment is shown.
- If the date SML Movies are uploaded are the same date the episodes take place on, then this video takes place on October 27, 2020, which does not match the day this episode was uploaded.
