"How Black Yoshi Stole Christmas!" is the 415th episode of SML Movies and it is the Christmas Special of 2018.
Synopsis
Black Yoshi wants to take Christmas gifts!
Plot
The episode kicks off with Mario about to finish decorating the Christmas tree in his house, only having to put the star on top of the tree. Black Yoshi then comes in and informs Mario about his "chris-mouse lisp", hoping Mario will get everything on it. Mario tells Black Yoshi that with it being Christmas Eve, it's too late to go Christmas shopping, and the only way Black Yoshi will get the things he wants is if Santa Claus drops by to give him presents.
Mario then calls in Jeffy to help him put the star on top of the tree. With the tree in question being at least 10 ft tall, Jeffy tells Mario there's no way he can pull off what Mario's trying to make him do. He also questions why bother putting a star on top of the tree anyway.
Mario still orders him to do so, giving Jeffy the idea of chucking the star on top of the tree. He misses, of course, making Mario say that maybe having a star on top of the tree really isn't necessary. Jeffy yells and swears that he was trying to make that point. Mario scolds Jeffy not to cuss, as Santa will hear him and not give him any toys. He goes on talking about Santa and how he comes in with a big bag of presents, unaware that Black Yoshi is eavesdropping on this and is getting an idea.
Mario goes to put Jeffy in his crib, reminding him that he needs to be asleep for Santa to come leave him gifts. With Jeffy in bed, Mario also decides to go to sleep and wait for Santa to arrive. The coast is now clear for Black Yoshi to put his plan into action. He decides to knock Santa out when he gets to the house, so when Sants's unconscious, he can rob all the presents. He achieves this by putting Windex in his milk, hoping he'll drink it.
The big man himself arrives to put the presents into place, but decides he wants to eat some milk and cookies first. When he gets to the kitchen and sees his treats laid out for him, he remembers that he hasn't eaten dinner yet and chooses to rummage through Mario's pantry to grab something to grub on. He disgustingly pours a box of Fruit Loops and a can of Chef Boyardee into his mouth, leaving a mess everywhere.
Now ready for dessert, he makes his way for the milk and cookies and eats and drinks them in a similar fashion with the food he did before. Suddenly, he starts choking and falls to the ground. Mario hears this and checks to see what's going on, and becomes shocked seeing a dying Santa on his floor. Santa tells Mario that he needs to take his place and deliver the presents to kids around the world. Santa slips away, leaving a frantic Mario pondering what to do.
As Mario continues to fret, he notices Black Yoshi going through Santa's bag of presents, immediately realizing he had something to do with Santa's death. Upon interrogation, Black Yoshi admits to killing Santa so he could get all the presents. Wanting to fix the situation, Mario searches the bag to see if there's a way to undo Santa's death. Fortunately, he finds the "Santa Clause", stating that someone can revive Santa by delivering all of the presents, and can teleport by saying,"next house". Mario enlists Black Yoshi to help him deliver the gifts since he's the one responsible for the whole situation, and the two go off.
The two then teleport into the apartment by the Christmas tree. Black Yoshi loudly lands a present by the Christmas tree. Mario tells him that the owners must have more than one present by the tree. Being told this, Black Yoshi then dumps all of the presents by the tree, explaining that since they technically got all of the presents out of the bag, Santa should come back to life.
Black Yoshi ends up being right, as Santa bursts through the door. Quite livid at Black Yoshi for killing him in the first place, Santa declares that he'll return the favor. A vengeful Santa charges at Mario and Black Yoshi, who dodge Santa and make him crash into the Christmas tree. This wakes up Sharon, who prompts her husband Brooklyn to investigate the commotion outside.
After Mario and Black Yoshi run out of the house, Brooklyn Guy finds Santa lying on top of his Christmas tree. Afterwards, Brooklyn Guy lets Santa eat the Chef Boyardee in his kitchen.
The next day, Mario, Black Yoshi and Jeffy find only one present at the tree. When Mario opens it, inside is a picture of a middle finger on top of a pile of coal. Jeffy thinks it's a picture of a finger which he always wanted. The video ends with Mario hoping that next year Santa won't hate them.

- This is Sharon's first appearance since "Black Yoshi's Mistake!", and her only 2018 appearance.
- This episode sparks the return of Elaina after a six month long hiatus. It is likely this video (apart from the scenes with the Brooklyn Guy's wife) were filmed before Elaina returned explaining Rosalina's absence in the scenes with Mario, Black Yoshi and Jeffy. If Rosalina appeared, it would have been her latest appearance since "Bowser's Mistake!".
- Although in August 2019, Chilly revealed on Facebook to her fans that Elaina retired from SML due to attending an out of state college far away from Florida.
- The apartment was used again when Mario was delivering presents to Brooklyn T.Guy as requested.
- The SML question was used for the fourth time in this video. Previous videos being "Jeffy's Bad Christmas", "Bowser Junior's Christmas Eve!", and "Bowser Junior Meets Santa Claus!".
