Hot Potato was a competitor in American Idol Mario Edition. His song was "The Hot Potato Song" and he got two yeses from Peach and Tony and a no from Mario, he still got to go to Hollywood, he celebrates with re-singing his "Hot Potato Song". However, in episode 3, he lost the competition, making his father very disappointed in him.

He was later mentioned in "Chef Pee Pee's Accident!" as the fireworks "game" that Junior played which resulted in Chef Pee Pee losing his arms.
