"Goodman's Son Gets a Job! (remake)" (also known as "Richard Gets a Job! (remake)") is a remake of "Goodman's Son Gets a Job!", and is the 25th episode of SML Remakes.
Synopsis[]
Goodman makes his son get a job!
Plot[]
The video starts off with Richard playing Jenga (or Money Jenga as he calls it) with Junior and Joseph. Joseph tells Junior to be careful, and he was; it was Richard's turn after Junior's turn. Richard was getting the 100 dollar bill and ended up losing. They played hide and seek; Junior has to count and find them. Junior skips the numbers and starts looking for them. He looks in his playroom.
Junior looks for them while Joseph hides underneath the ball pit and Joseph starts laughing. Junior looks behind the teddy bear and he still couldn't find him even though Joseph can be heard laughing. Joseph laughs again and gets found after that. Junior now has to find Richard and he starts to sneeze. Richard comes out and says "Cha-Ching!" while sneezing. There is a knock at the door, and Junior opens it.
Mr. Goodman was at the door telling Junior that he came to pick Richard up. Junior calls Richard down. Richard thanks Goodman because he couldn't take how poor it was at Junior's house anymore. Richard then tells Junior that he accidentally clogged the toilet.
Richard explains to Goodman that he accidentally used too much money when he was wiping. Goodman gets mad and wants to see what happen, and go to the bathroom. Angered and disgusted with his son's wastefulness Goodman grounds Richard as punishment for not using one bill when he wiped and he says Richard doesn't know the value of money and that he should get a job and thinks he should work at McDonald's before smacking his AirPods off his head like in his first appearance.
Richard goes to McDonald's and Tyrone shows him McDonald's food he brought here. And he shows him how to make a burger with a song. Richard makes his first burger as a red car shows up in the drive thru revealing it to be a woman who, at first, takes long to start her order (making Tyrone leave and come back almost immediately), then revealed it as a long one, with ice cream included. Tyrone says their ice cream machine broke, making the woman want koolaid from McDonalds' and refusing to move. Tyrone leaves to teach Richard about "bad customers", who can be easily identified by the colour of the car, tells him to spit in those customers' food and finally drop it on the ground. Richard makes the order, loosely recalling the song, displeasing Tyrone. The woman impatiently throws a banana at the window, angering Tyrone, and her food is dropped on the ground but Tyrone doesn't care. She wants to speak to the manager, whilst told that she already is and finally the window is closed. Tyrone gets tired, telling Richard to replace him, to no avail; Richard's first customer is a homeless man and thinks that he sneezed on the window as he saw how dirty it is. The homeless man doesn't specify his order and doesn't have real money but offers to pay with a tomato and Richard angrily shoos him away by spraying Windex at him. Tyrone sees this and explains that all customers are poor. He practices with Richard the proper way of working at a drive thru, with success. Then, the woman who's still at the drive thru throws a tomato for "getting her order wrong", narrowly missing Tyrone and Richard. She tells the former that she bought the tomato from the homeless man who was previously at the drive thru. She says that she still wants her order right: not getting it seperately before. Tyrone doesn't listen, throwing the tomato back at her. He and Goodman are very upset, talking about the annoying, poor customers and dreams of better things. Shorty after, the third customer (who is Jeffy) shows up, also in the red car and he's repeatedly honking until Tyrone comes. Jeffy wants 3 toys but Tyrone will only give him 1 as that's how a happy meal works. However, Jeffy insists by repeating "3 toys" 4 times, honking the horn on the 4th time. Richard makes the order, once again forgetting the song and accidentally putting in the box all the ketchup and mustard. Jeffy's order is the only successful order as it didn't hit the ground, so Tyrone ends Richard's shift early as he worked for only 10 minutes, therefore giving him a 75 cent paycheck. Back at Mario's house, Goodman can smell how poor his son is and Richard tells Goodman that he hated his day at work, and he'll wipe his butt with 20s, but Goodman says that would be disgrace to the Goodman name. He also assures him he learned the value of money and does not make Richard work at McDonald's anymore.

- This was the last remake uploaded before the "SML Remakes" series went on an extended hiatus.
- This remake was uploaded a year after "Bowser Junior's Pink Bib!", two years after "Bowser Junior's 11th Birthday!", five years after "Bowser Junior's 8th Birthday!" and thirteen years after "I GOT 500 SUBSCRIBERS".
- This is the last remake of 2021.
- Logan made this comment in the video - "So what pisses me off is that, I had to delete all my old channels and delete 13 years worth of videos that I worked so long to make. And I have hundreds of videos I have to remake and reupload. Some videos only need a few scenes remade, some videos need all the scenes remade. And I have 60 SBL videos that are human videos that I have to completely reupload because I wasn’t allowed to keep the SBL channel. And fans get upset at me and call me lazy for wanting to remake or reupload my videos when other YouTubers haven’t had to delete their videos or they would be doing the same thing. We film every day of the week to make new and old videos for the fans. I should have the right to reupload and remake the videos that had to be deleted. We aren’t lazy, we put in the work to make these videos to begin with. So if you guys could still continue to watch every video we upload, new or old, it would really support our channel." This is the second time Logan called his fans out, the first was Bowser Junior's Pet!
