FroggyCompany was a YouTube channel that made Super Mario plush videos, created by Daniel Whittam, best known as Froggy. It is known for being the inspiration to SuperMarioLogan.
In 2010, FroggyCompany was terminated for repeatedly posting hate and threats towards Logan.
Beginnings (2007-08)[]
Froggy set up his channel, FroggyCompany, on March 20, 2007. He mainly made Mario plush videos, being the second to do this (the first was "The Cute Mario Bros", formerly known as MarioMario8989).
Though most do not remember any of his videos, SMLArchive managed to make a video that showed some of his work, which can be viewed here. What SMLArchive got taken down by Dabhdude used to be visible here.

SuperMarioLogan (2008-10)[]
The creator of SuperMarioLogan, Logan Thirtyacre, got the inspiration for making Mario plush videos from FroggyCompany.
Froggy gave Logan a lot of tips (like new characters and such) which helped SML gain several subscribers and attention, and the two became good friends. Froggy even gave Logan ideas for SML's most famous series, Mario and Luigi's Stupid and Dumb Adventures. With that series, SML was boosted into popularity. Over time, however, SML's popularity started putting FroggyCompany under the water.
After a while, Froggy stopped talking to Logan, mainly because he didn't want to do plush videos anymore. He wanted to do YouTube Poops, gaming, Top 10s, etc.
Competition with SML and IHATEMARIOLOGAN campaign (2009-10)[]
When SuperMarioLogan was gaining fame in 2008 (particularly late 2008) with MLSDA, Froggy got jealous. He was jealous because he gave ideas that contributed to the series, while SML got all the credit/fame and most of the community forgot about FroggyCompany. Froggy felt like he deserved the channel, not Logan.
Froggy talked to Logan, asking him to give him the password to SuperMarioLogan, since he was the one that made the channel famous (stating that he "created" Logan and SML). Of course, Logan refused (instead offering to give FroggyCompany a shoutout instead), and Froggy got mad. He took down all his plush videos, blocked Logan, and unsubscribed to SML. FroggyCompany then began to compete with SuperMarioLogan.
The competition between SML and FroggyCompany had gotten more tense, and soon it had been taken to a whole new level. In July of 2009, Froggy set up a channel called IHATEMARIOLOGAN, which was a channel where he made videos saying Logan was gay, how much he hated SML, 10-hour loops of him burning his Mario plushes to show the massive hate he had towards SML, where people could comment about how much they hated SML, etc. He also started uploading SML's videos onto FroggyCompany.
Surprisingly, Froggy was actually succeeding in his hate group. From 2009 to 2010, on an endless loop, there was all kinds of drama surrounding the community, and Logan had many haters who wanted him to die. IHATEMARIOLOGAN seemed like an unstoppable force. It was a pretty dark time for Logan.
The scale of the hate Froggy placed on SML would not be repeated until 2017-18, when a user named SkipDip made similar actions.
End of FroggyCompany and New Beginning (2010-)[]
In January 2010, Froggy posted a new video on IHATEMARIOLOGAN, which was a threat to kill Logan and his family if he didn't give Froggy the password to SML or take down his channel, website, and every trace of himself that he could on the internet by February 2. He sent this video to Logan about 200 times. Logan finally reported Froggy on February 1, moments before midnight. On February 2, IHATEMARIOLOGAN was terminated by YouTube for making threats of violence. Due to this, Froggy continued to threaten Logan and his fanbase.
On March 18, two days before FroggyCompany's third anniversary, Froggy's account was suspended by YouTube for the same reasons as his terminated IHATEMARIOLOGAN account. Froggy, shortly after finding out his channel was taken down, accused Logan of intentionally getting the account terminated, set up another account, and started posting more hate torwards SML, making videos like this, until Logan reported that and got it taken down, too. YouTube was getting tired of Froggy's antics by this point and decided to end the drama once and for all by blocking Froggy's email for good, meaning he could no longer make YouTube channels on that account.
Froggy, not knowing what to do next, decided to take a online break. Eventually, he came back online and decided to have a fresh start with something else: He wanted to move on from plush videos an his old drama with SML do animation because he was inspired by various animators from YouTube and Newgrounds, and he did have a sense of humor that wasn't in his plush videos; He wanted to mostly target mostly teens and adults. He created a new email account to help give a fresh start.
Nowadays, Froggy is making work on YouTube, Newgrounds, Tumblr, etc, and animates for Planet Dolan. He's on good terms with Logan now and doesn't care much about him anymore. His new YouTube channels are MinutesBoBinutes (formerly called FroggyCompany in HD and TPC Podcast) and FroggywithFries. He's also part of a gaming podcast called ThirdPartyController.
Rumors and Speculations[]
Froggy's Suicide[]
Originally, there was a rumor in which Froggy committed suicide sometime after his channel was terminated, which isn't true as he is still alive. This was even denied by Logan, who said that Froggy never committed suicide in an interview with Dabhdude. The rumor was made up on SML Wiki back when the website wasn't as professional as it is now and when anyone without an account could edit. It's believed to been created by some SML fans or haters to make it look like Froggy couldn't handle the loss of his channel, or to make it look like Logan destroyed the only thing Froggy had in his life. SMLArchive is Froggy[]
Some people have speculated that SMLArchive is Froggy. One time, a fan asked SMLArchive (calling him "Froggy") if he wanted to hurt Logan, with SMLArchive responding with "YES ^_____^," most likely implying that SMLArchive has possibly been Froggy the whole time. Other facts support this speculation include the fact that SMLArchive and Froggy are apparently both from the United Kingdom.
It's unknown whether SML Archive actually has been Froggy. He probably said "yes" as a joke most likely.
However, some people have pointed out that Froggy and Logan are both on good terms now, with this being confirmed by Logan himself. Some say it was SkipDip who was SML Archive and that he used FroggyCompany's name to frame him since SkipDip himself was a former fan of SML and had fought alongside him against Froggy and his fans, but other than that, some say it's possibly Froggy who is indeed SML Archive.
It’s very complicated to confirmed this and debatable whether or not Froggy is actually is SML Archive, along with who owns SMLArchive & SML Archive ARCHIVED.
