"The Baseball Game!" is the 518th episode of SML Movies. It marks the return of Shrek, Toad, and Chris' characters in person.
Synopsis[]
All of the SML characters play baseball!
Plot[]
The video starts with Jeffy making random noises and rapidly smacking his diaper, Mario demands Jeffy to stop then challenges Jeffy to not smack his diaper for 30 seconds but he does it anyway. Mr Goodman then arrives at the door to tell Mario that he must give away $1,000,000 by putting together a base ball game and Mario is invited to join the Adults team. Jeffy then asks Mario if he could join the kids team.
Round 1: Pitcher: Brooklyn Guy | Batter: Joseph | Catcher: Shrek
Brooklyn Guy is planning to strike out Joseph when he is interrupted by Karen, Karen is wildly confused why she is wearing a baseball mitten. Joseph is planning to bat the ball while Shrek is trying to distract him, Brooklyn Guy then fires the ball and Joseph hits it and Hansel catches it in his mouth.
Round 2: Pitcher: Brooklyn Guy | Batter: Bowser Junior | Catcher: Shrek
Junior manages to bat the ball when Shrek is constantly yelling "HERE, DONKEY, DONKEY, DONKEY, DONKEY, DONKEY!" Karen catches the ball but is still confused, after reminding her multiple times, she finally throws the ball and Tyrone catches it while Junior did not keep running.
Round 3: Pitcher: Brooklyn Guy | Batter: Cody | Catcher: Shrek
Cody is planning to throw the ball while Joseph is yelling "EASY OUT" Brooklyn Guy throws the ball and hits Cody in the face, Junior returns to second base
Round 4: Pitcher: Brooklyn Guy | Batter: Jeffy | Catcher: Shrek
Jeffy manages to score a ball hit and Brooklyn Guy underestimated him, Judy misses the ball and they lose a point.
Round 5: Pitcher: Brooklyn Guy | Batter: Scooter | Catcher: Shrek
Scooter is stepping up to the plate and Brooklyn Guy calls out "Easy Out!" but he underestimates Scooter as he hits the ball back and lands in Brooklyn Guy's face. Scooter is an idiot and did not run and Tyrone catches the ball.
Round 6: Pitcher: Jeffy | Batter: Brooklyn Guy | Catcher: Scooter
Jeffy becomes the Pitcher and throws the ball, Brooklyn Guy misses and Scooter is distracting him, Brooklyn Guy is annoyed and decides to call half-time because of the sunlight
It is now night time and now Brooklyn Guy can see better, he also ignore his first strikes. Jeffy throws the ball and Brooklyn Guy misses, Scooter distracts him again and Brooklyn Guy misses the ball. After the 4th distraction, Brooklyn Guy hits Scooter in the face causing him to pass out and still misses the ball. He then hits the 4th time and runs, Brooklyn Guy pushes Junior out of the way to get through, Cody runs to the ball and throws it to Ken who misses it. Joseph then catches the ball and Toad misses the ball and then Scooter then hits him in the head.
Round 7: Pitcher: Jeffy | Batter: Mario | Catcher: Scooter
Jeffy throws the ball and Mario hits it with the bat and Toad catches it and Brooklyn Guy calls him out.
Round 8: Pitcher: Jeffy | Batter: Karen | Catcher: Scooter
Karen is up next and Brooklyn Guy is angry because Karen is dazed and confused about Baseball. Jeffy farts the ball and Karen misses it. The 2nd time and Karen misses it. The 3rd time Karen hits Brooklyn Guy with the bat and he wants a divorce
Round 9: Pitcher: Jeffy | Batter: Tyrone | Catcher: Scooter
Tyrone steps up and hits the ball out of the park.
Round 10: Pitcher: Jeffy | Batter: Hansel | Catcher: Scooter
Hansel steps up and misses the first two times because his eyes are barely open and Brooklyn Guy is furious. Scooter then mistaken him for Santa Claus, Hansel then hits the ball for the 3rd time. Brooklyn Guy thinks he is going to win but Joseph catches it at the last second and the Kids team wins!
Post-Game[]
The kids celebrate winning while the adults are mad because they lost. Goodman talks to the camera about the results and mentions that the kids win $1,000,000.
Mario is crying about losing while Rosalina comforts him. Then Jeffy comes in, happy about winning money. When asked what he did with his part of the million dollars, Jeffy mentions he gave it to charity. When asked which charity, he revealed that charity is his bank account, so Jeffy actually deposited his money into his bank account, which he jokingly refers to as a charity. The SML question/outro then appears, cutting off Mario's reaction and ending the video. But then, there is footage of the BTS when Logan gets hit in the head with a baseball when Mario is hitting the ball.

Trivia[]
- This is the first appearance of Toad and Shrek in 2020, and their first appearances since "Bowser Junior's Playtime 6" and "Black Yoshi's Chicken Sandwich!" respectively. Shrek later appeared in "Bowser Junior's 21st Birthday", "Among Us", "Zombie Jeffy", and "The Devil's Son", and Toad made a comeback in "Mr. Chef Pee Pee Head".
- This is also Toad’s first appearance on SuperBowserLogan.
- This marks the first appearance of Cody in person since "Bowser Junior's Sick Pool Party!" and Brooklyn T. Guy's first appearance in person since Black Yoshi's Big Bamboozle! making this episode the return of Chris Netherton.
- However after this episode, Chris returned to only playing his characters on face time this could have been because the cases of covid in Pensacola began to rise again.
- It could be possible that this video takes place before his characters went into quarantine.
- This episode was uploaded 2 years after "Meet the Cast: Lance", and 5 years after "Bowser Junior's World Record!".
- This video possibly confirms that Toad and Junior did not end their friendship.
- Originally, Bowser, Chef Pee Pee, Screwball, Jackie Chu, Patrick, Drawing Jeffy and Craig The Devil were going to appear in this episode, but they were all cut out most likely due to time constraints/limited team space
- This is Rosalina’s first appearance in a row in 2020. She has not appeared since “Jeffy’s Scooter!”.
- This video is similar to "The Big Thanksgiving", "The Costume Contest!" and "The Golden Egg!" as it is about a lot of characters coming together (in the latter two's case, it is similar because The Costume Contest! and The Golden Egg! involve a competition.
- This video marks the first time Goodman donates his money to charity.
- Logan was hit in the head with a baseball during the filming of this video. However, he wasn't severely injured so there was no need for medical services.
- This video is Scooter's 4th appearance in 2020.
- Despite the fact that Mario though Goodman came to his house for his house payment, this is one of the few episodes where Goodman comes to Mario’s house but doesn’t ask for his house payment because Goodman stated that he wasn’t at Mario’s house to take his money but to give him money.
- This video has become critically acclaimed due to its creative/unique atmosphere and the location changed to an actual baseball field to the point of it being considered a classic to both new and old fans.
- The stadium used for filming this episode was Admiral Fetterman Field. It is home to the Pensacola Blue Wahoos Minor League baseball team and it used to be used by the West Florida Argonauts NCAA football team.
- Mr. Peacock, who is a character Lance got in Fan Mail #23, can be seen in the back of Lance's car In BTS#1
- If looked closely, Scooter is seen completely barefoot.
- It is presumed that the titular game was broadcasted on television in the SML world.
- The ball landing in Hansel's mouth could be a reference to when Logan was playing tee-ball and was sitting in the outfield with his hat off and the ball landed in the hat. This was ruled an out despite not being allowed to catch a ball with an object other than a glove.
- This possibly confirms at the end of the video where Mario had beaten Jeffy off-screen for giving the money to charity.
- But it was later confirmed in the second BTS video that after Jeffy said he put his half in his bank account, Mario continued crying.
Errors[]
- There are many instances in this video where the crew's face and/or body can be seen:
- When Brooklyn T. Guy throws the balls to Ken, Lovell's face can be seen on the left side, as well as Chris' entire body.
- At 8:05, Chris's right leg could be seen when Brooklyn Guy touched the base.
- At 7:00, Lance's head can be seen in the window's reflection.
- At 2:24, Elaina's face is seen.
- At 5:30-5:38 Pablo and Lovell's bodies and faces can be slightly seen. Most notably at 5:47 Lovell's face can be seen.
- When Ken batted, his first two pitches to him were miscalled "strikes" when they were balls. So his real ball-strike ratio is 2-1. (But when Cody was in 1st base and Jeffy hits the home run, I guess that counts as 3-1)
- When Scooter was up for pitching, he's holding the bat upside down, but when he hits the ball, he's holding the bat the right way. When the camera goes back to him, the bat is upside down again.
- Despite Toad being in the thumbnail, he doesn’t have a lot of screentime in the video.
- Brooklyn Guy is shown wearing his doctor outfit in the thumbnail but in the actual video, he wears his normal black shirt instead. However, Karen is still wearing a doctor outfit from her previous appearance in "Bowser Junior's Wings!" It is possible that Logan couldn’t find Brooklyn Guy with the black shirt.
- Although most baseball rules and regulations were followed during this video, it is never explained why the kids team get to bat first. In normal baseball games, the visiting team will always bat first, or it could be decided via a coin flip with one of teams calling heads or tails.
- Also, there cannot be halftime in baseball, and catching the ball with your mouth does not count as an out so Joseph should have run into one of the bases.
