Elaina Marie Keyes is an American puppeteer, singer, and actress. She is an actress in the SML videos and is best known for playing Rose. As of June 2016, she played more than six SML characters. Her debut as a character was in "American Idol Episode 1" in October 2015 where she portrayed Peach and Rosalina, and her first major role in a video was in "Mario's New Girlfriend!", also portraying Rosalina. - Elaina first joined the SML crew after she found a flyer about it at her university.
- Elaina was the first member of the SML crew who did not know Logan before joining.
- Elaina is currently the only female member of the primary SML crew members.
- She was going to do physiology, but she stopped and started acting instead after joining the SML crew.
- "Mario's New Girlfriend!" was actually her audition video, and Logan liked it so much, it was uploaded.
- She likes the video "Jeffy's Bad Word!" and was upset when the fans hated it.
- Her favorite character that she plays is Rosalina
- Her favorite character that she doesn't play is Goodman.
- She really wants to make a video called "Finding Luma", as a parody of Finding Nemo.
- She has a cat who she found as a stray and took him in.
- She went on a hiatus after "Jeffy Has Kids!" was made - she returned for "Jeffy's Switcheroo!", but after appearing in only four videos in 2018, she went on a hiatus once again before returning for "How Black Yoshi Stole Christmas!". Then one year later she appeared again in "Doctor Jeffy!", after moving to Baltimore. She then returned three months later in "Jeffy Goes To Disney World!", in which afterward, she came back to acting in videos permanently, no longer going on a hiatus.
- Some scenes in "Jeffy's Mistake!" were filmed outside her apartment, as confirmed in Logan's reaction video.
- Elaina's favorite SML video is "Mario's New Girlfriend!".
- She created Jeffy along with Logan.
- Elaina has also designed many other SML puppets, such as D-Money, the Alien, The Hooker/Stripper, Nancy, Jacques Pierre François, Rose, and Bully. She also does the customizations and sewing to the puppets that need those things
- Chilly once stated on Facebook that Elaina no longer worked in SML since she now attends an out-of-state college, but it was confirmed to be false since she returned as Rosalina's actress in "Doctor Jeffy!".
- For a while, it was thought Rosalina had been retconned out of the series, with her being on an unexplained hiatus for a long period of time, and Chilly confirming she departed from the crew publicly. Some fans also speculated that Rosalina would get a new actor, with some believing that Chilly would take over Rosalina.
- It was later revealed that Elaina was on a hiatus, due to some disputes and personal problems with the SML Crew, and was living in Baltimore. But, she later returned to the SML Crew for a permanent time in 2020 with her personal problems resolved.
- Elaina is 5'4" (1.63 m).
- She moved back to Florida in mid-September 2020, visited Baltimore again for a short Thanksgiving trip, though the video she posted about the trip made some fans incorrectly believe she was moving back.
- Elaina appears at 0:09-0:11 as an extra in the video 'Ladies Room' on the sketch-comedy YouTube channel 'Kitty Get A Job'.
- She has 2 Instagram usernames: i.am.roselaina (currently running and public) and elainamariekeyes (currently private and possibly abandoned or not).
- She along with the rest of the crew, except Chris Netherton, got tested positive for COVID-19 in November 2020.
