Craig the Devil (or simply referred to as The Devil), is a minor character in SML series and the archenemy of God. He first appeared in Evil Bowser after Bowser summoned Craig to help him become eviler. Craig and Bowser only did tasks that weren't all that evil, such as making Chef Pee Pee clean spilled water. Craig is currently friends with Bowser. On July 28, 2017, Logan seemingly confirmed that Craig would no longer appear in videos, due to him getting them demonetized (which was actually Jeffy's doing).
This is likely because he is portrayed as the devil (or aka Satan), which may have broken YouTube's Terms of Service. However, two days later, on a video uploaded onto the Chilly channel titled "Let's Talk.", Logan posed the question, "Do I get rid of Craig?", implying that he hasn't decided whether to remove him from future videos. He did confirm that Craig would appear in The SuperMarioLogan Movie! which he didn't. In the newest Chilly vlog (as of November 23, 2017), Craig was confirmed to be removed from the series. Despite these comments, though, Craig still appeared in 2018, indicating Logan changed his mind to get one over on YouTube.
However, Craig might be in more videos in the future since YouTube has made new rules with COPPA. He also appeared in the 2020 videos “Joseph's New Shell!”, “Bowser Junior's Pink Bib!”, "Jeffy's Pen Pal!", and "The Devil's Son!".
Biography[]
Craig the Devil was created by God on October 31st, 1 AD, originally as an angel named Lucifer. During his college years, he borrowed a book from the library and never returned it, which may be his earliest act of evil.
When Adam was created, Craig made him grab an apple, which lead him and his Rebel Angels to leaving Heaven as punishment after the War in Heaven (according to biblical lore if it's considered canon in SML). Craig later said the reason he was punished was because Adam grabbed the red apple instead of the green one. After that, God (senior possibly) cast him out of Heaven and into hell where he now resides. From then on, Lucifer would be known by his new name: "Craig the Devil".
During his time in Hell, he became friends with H*tler, who he would sometimes write rap songs with. Craig also owns a car dealership named "Crazy Craig's" which he makes advertisements for during the Super Bowl.
Personality[]
Craig is shown to be evil and cruel, obsessed with the collection of souls and spreading his malevolence. He doesn't however seem to fully understand what being evil actually means, with his acts of evil generally amounting to just being rather rude and inconsiderate to others by going Ding Dong Ditching, spilling over glasses of milk he intentionally asks for, and paying for groceries entirely with pennies. He's often shown discomfort from acts of evil from others, with acts of petty crimes being more his speed.
As his alter ego, Mrs. Nesbit, he is portrayed as a posh and sadistic nanny, determined to correct Jeffy's bad behavior to the point of abuse involving a baseball pitcher, which Mario feels conflicted by despite his grievances with Jeffy. Craig is also an incredibly talented pianist with his unorthodox techniques, which he teaches to people as Mrs. Nesbit, able to tutor a dimwit like Jeffy to an expert level in one 6 month sitting in "Jeffy's Piano Lessons!".
He is pretty dedicated to his job, but he really doesn’t like it as it’s just him doing paperwork. He always helps someone, only if they give their soul to Craig, or the only way Craig can revive a being is by turning them evil. This is shown when Joseph needed a new shell, so Craig gave him a new one in exchange for Joseph’s soul. And he did revive Jeffy's dog but turned him evil.
Everyone Craig is associated with in some way is evil themselves. Craig's cat Lucifur is a feral and aggressive cat who even killed Susan. One of Craig’s best friends is none other than Adolf Hitler. His son, Craig Junior, a.k.a "CJ", likes to commit arson and partake in general sadism, possibly making him more evil than Craig himself.

- It is revealed in "The Costume Contest!", that he is lactose intolerant.
- It is revealed in "Jeffy's Nanny!", that he is allergic to or just extremely dislikes peanut butter.
- He reveals in "Jeffy's Nanny!" that he has an ability to shapeshift, taking on the alter ego of Mrs. Nesbit in the episode, which is an ability he found out about only just recently.
- In "The Fender Bender!", When Jeffy Delivered Craig a pizza, he only paid $6 Dollars and 66 Cents.
- As revealed in "Meet The Cast: Lovell", he is Lovell's favorite character other than a character he portrays, because he thinks Craig is such a savage.
- In "Joseph's New Shell!", Craig was voiced by Lance due to Pablo's absence at the time with him taking care of his parents because of health problems (also because of COVID-19 aka "The Cough-Cough" as it's known in the SML universe).
- He, along with God and God Senior are the oldest beings known to exist in the SML universe.
