"Cody The Magician!" (remake) is a remake of "Cody the Magician!", and is the 8th episode of SML Remakes.
Synopsis[]
Cody is a magician!
Plot[]
The video begins with Junior going to door to only find Joseph at the door. He then decides to make fun of Joseph's shirt but Joseph calls out that he is wearing a shirt. Junior then gives up on trying to make fun of Joseph. Junior then thinks that Judy is keeping him from leaving the house. They go inside to try Double-Stuffed Oreos. Cody then arrives at Junior's house but Junior and Joseph ignore that he is dressed like a Magician. Cody tries to tell them that he is a magician but Junior and Joseph call out wrong answers. Cody then tells him that a magician but Junior thinks that he meant electrician. He then asks Junior to pick a card but Joseph then wants to pick a a card. Cody makes him pick a card but Joseph doesn't want to pick wrong.
Joseph then pulls a card. Cody asks if he knows the card but Joseph tells him the card when he wasn't supposed to. Cody asks him to pick a different card. Cody is interrupted by Junior by exposing the card. An angry Cody then asks him to pick a different card. He then tells him to show it to Junior and Junior once again exposes the card's content. Joseph picks a different card once again. Cody then asks him to put the card back but Junior thinks he is trying to cheat. Cody then tells him to do anything with the card but Joseph exposes the card. An enraged Cody then tells him to put the card back and pick a different card. Joseph then goes to flush it in the toilet.
He got rid of the card and Cody pulls the same card Joseph had but Joseph forgot the card he had before he flushed it down the toilet. Cody tells him that he pulled the same card Joseph had. Cody then tells Junior to pick a card. Cody then wants him to shove the card up his butt. Cody then leaves it be and tells them that is the magic trick. Cody then shoves him a different card trick by eating a double stuffed Oreo cookie replacing it with a fake and puts it back in the original position. Joseph then sees that the cookie is fake.
Cody then apologizes for that last magic trick and shows them a hat magic trick. He asks them to look in the hat. Junior sees nothing in it. Cody then uses his "magic wand" to place a fake rabbit in the hat without actually touching the hat. Cody then calls Ken in for his next magic trick. Cody tells them that Ken is going to be placed inside the container. Joseph keeps telling Cody that Ken can't drown because he is a doll. Cody then starts pouring water into the bucket and sees that Ken is still not moving. Joseph keeps telling Junior and Cody that he is a doll and can't drown. Cody then "teleports" Ken out of the water tank and "teleports" the card that was in Junior's butt into the water tank.
Cody then wants to "saw" Joseph in half. Joseph thinks he is going to kill him. He then decides to go along with it but Cody then accidentally does the trick wrong and killed Joseph. Cody then reveals that he forgot the main point of the magic trick. Cody then does a magic trick to make the body disappear. Junior then starts crying while Cody disappears too. A year has passed and Joseph has revealed to be replaced by Pengy the sewer penguin. Cody then says "mind freak" which replaced Pengy with Joseph and the three all start freaking out, thus ending the video.

Differences from the original[]
- The remake is shorter than the original by 49 seconds.
- This remake takes place at nighttime instead of daytime.
- This remake was made in the new house instead of the apartment.
- Paul is replaced by Pengy the Sewer Penguin at the end of the video to comply with Nintendo's copyright and cease and desist.
- However, Paul would've made an appearance in his human form, so it is unknown why he is absent.
- The CVS Health medicine is replaced with Family Size Double Stuf Oreos. Because of this, the SML Lesson telling the viewers that medicine is not candy was removed. This change was made due to the possibility of demonetization for alluding to substance abuse.
- Joseph rings the doorbell instead of knocking on the door in the beginning of the remake.
- Cody still doesn't say "IN HALF" when Ken died.
- Cody's magician outfit and the tank that Ken was in are different.
- In the remake, Joseph is the one who goes to the bathroom and flushes his card down the toilet, while in the original, it was Bowser Junior who did this.
- The gore is removed from Joseph's bisection, most likely to prevent demonetization. It’s also possible that they are making the remakes more family friendly as they seem to be removing any inappropriate content from them.
- In the original they did not mention the 2004 movie Saw & its franchise.
- In the original, Junior pulls the cards, but in the remake, Joseph does.
Trivia[]
- This remake was uploaded 2 years after "Mr. Goodman's Baby!" 3 years after "Jeffy's Energy Drink!" 5 years after "Bowser Junior's Credit Card!" 6 years after "Bowser Junior's Broccoli Problem!" 7 years after "Bowser's New Son", 8 years after "I Gotta Pee", 18 years after the American release of WarioWare, Inc.: Minigame Mania, and on the release date of Miitopia for the Nintendo Switch.
- This is Pengy the Sewer Penguin's first appearance since "Flushed Away!".
- This is the first time that Pengy dies, making this his final appearance. Though he returns in "Jeffy Goes To A Diddy Party!".
- Running Gag: Cody constantly saying "mindfreak".
Errors[]
- At 7:22 Lovell's mouth can be seen.
- At 3:10 you can see Lovell's mouth as well.
