"Cody's Stolen Penny" (Stylized as "Cody's STOLEN Penny!") is the 985th episode of SML Movies, and a collaboration special with the gamer-designed web browser, Opera GX.
Synopsis[]
Cody's rare penny was stolen!
Plot[]
Junior was petting a very cute cat when Cody shows up and shows Junior his coin bin, and shows him a 1943 penny made from steel, but Junior notices that the cat got some hair on the couch, so Junior gets a lint roller and rolls it on the couch, which he accidently gets the penny in the lint roller, which makes Cody very angry, because he thinks Junior stole it, in which Junior defends himself, saying that he never touched the penny and that he was lint rolling the couch since the cat he was putting earlier left cat hair on the couch.
Penelope then walks in, asking Cody if he had a steel penny, which Cody tells her that he had it but "somebody" decided to get sticky fingers, which Penelope then gets upset at Junior for stealing Cody's penny, which Junior says that he did not steal his penny and that he doesn't know what happened to hit, which Cody goes on with his accusation on Junior because it was on the couch and that he looked down for one second, only for it to be gone. Junior then says that he did not take his penny and that they need to get going to the movie theater room to see Kung Fu Panda 4, which Junior invites Cody to join with them, but Cody declines, saying that he doesn't have enough money because he is "13 to 30 cents short" because "somebody" took his penny, which Penelope tells Cody that she will get his ticket, which Cody thanks her in his still-angry tone, which he tells Junior that's what a real friend looks like, which Junior says again that he did not steal his penny because he does not care about his penny collection, which Junior tells Penelope and Cody that they should go since he hasn't seen the first three Kung Fu Panda movies, which this shocks both Penelope and Cody, which Cody uses this to build up his accusation, saying that Junior's a thief as he hasn't seen the first three Kung Fu Panda movies, which Junior says that he does not like karate movies, which this makes Cody mad, saying that Kung Fu Panda isn't a karate movie and that Kung Fu is a completely different martial art.
At the movie theater room, Cody notice that Junior got the large Popcorn bucket and how it runs him up $12.50 for it, and how that's a lot of money to spend on popcorn, and its as if like he came into a lot of money, which Junior says that his penny is worth 30 cents and his popcorn was $12.50, which he questions how he would be able to use his penny to buy the popcorn that he has, which Cody isn't sure how many penny's that Junior has been stealing since he is so good at making them disappear, which Penelope ends up shushing them as the movie is starting. During the movie, Junior asks a question but ends up getting shushed, which Cody then talks about how he wants to watch the movie, but can't as he is keeping his eyes on Junior since he can't trust him for a second, which he then ends up grabbing his bag of gummy bears, which he ask Junior that he got some gummy bears and that he should try not to take any but then says he won't want them since they aren't made from steel because if they were steel, then people would choke on them and the gummy bear company would get sued, which Penelope then shushes again, saying that she is trying to watch a movie.
When they got to the game room, Cody accuses Junior of taking his gummy bear, which Junior says that he did not take his gummy bear as it fell on the floor. and Penelope then scolds them for getting them kicked out of the movie theater and how embarrassing it was, which Cody says that it can all be resolved if Junior put his hand in his pocket and pull out the steel penny, which Junior defends, saying that he doesn't have anything in his pockets because he doesn't have any pockets, which Cody then says to pull it out of his shoes, which Junior says that he doesn't have his penny in his shoe since he didn't steal his penny, which Cody then says that he already called the police, which Penelope wishes that the officer coming to the house isn't her dad.
Brooklyn Guy then walks in, asking if somebody called the cops, which Cody says that he did, but Brooklyn then asks if she did her homework, which Penelope says that she did, which Brooklyn Guy then ask if she is sure, Penelope gets pissed, which Brooklyn Guy then says that when he askes the death row inmates if they did their homework when they were a kid, they would say "Yeah, I kill them and kill them again too", which he then says that he doesn't like to talk to them, which Penelope then says "Wow dad, that's a great story, thanks!" in a sarcastic tone. Cody then says that he would like to report a robbery, which Brooklyn Guy asks if the robber had a gun, which Cody says that he doesn't know since he never thought that Junior would steal from him and who knows what he is capable of. Brooklyn Guy then asks what did he steal, which he replies with the 1943 steel penny, which Brooklyn Guy asks if it was a copper penny or a steel penny, which Cody replies that it was a steel penny, which Brooklyn Guy then says that it's not a big of a deal since they are only worth a few cents and that anything worth under $500 would be consider petty theft, which Penlope chimes in, saying that it was "petty alright". Cody then says that he stole it and that he wants him in handcuffs, which Brooklyn Guy then proceeds to conduct his police interrogation, which he asks Junior if he stole his penny, which Junior says that he didn't. Brooklyn Guy then ask if there is anybody else who could of seen it happen, which Cody and Brooklyn Guy got the idea to ask the cat. Cody then goes to the white couch to ask the cat if they stole his penny, which the cat then proceeds to run away, making Cody mad. Cody then returns to the red couch, saying that he did talk to the cat, but the cat ran away but the cat seemed pretty innocent to him and that he already knows who the thief is, which Junior says that he didn't steal his penny, which Penelope asks Cody if it fell in the couch cushions or something but Cody says it didn't and that Junior stole it, which Penelope asks Cody if he checked the couch cushions, but Cody says that he didn't and that he will not do that, but Penelope then asks if Cody were to accidentally put it back in the coin bin without realizing, but Cody says that he would of remembered doing that. Junior then suggests to Cody to check his coin bin as his steel penny could somehow end up back in the coin bin without realizing, which Cody says that it could of been Junior who put it in the coin bin but Junior tells Cody to check it, which Cody can't seem to find it, which Brooklyn Guy then asks if he can go but Cody tells him no since he wants to press charges, which Brooklyn Guy then brings the case to court.
At the court house, Judge Pooby says that he will be hearing the case of Cody, who says that Junior stole his steel penny, which he then asks Cody what happened. Cody then says that he was showing Junior his coin collection and how he showed him one of his many steel penny's and placed it on the couch, and then he looked away for one second and then the steel penny is gone, which he then says that Junior took it because he knew that it was valuable and priceless to him. Judge Pooby then asks Junior if he stole his penny, which Junior tells him no and that he wouldn't steal the penny because he did not care about it, which he tells him how Cody was showing him his "dumb" coin collection and how he did not care about it, which he says that he put it on the couch and that he doesn't know what happened to it as it went missing and that Cody wants to blame him for it, which Cody gets pissed, saying that he knows that he took his penny, which Judge Pooby then calls order, saying that he will not have name calling or foul language in his court room as Cody was insulting Junior, which Judge Pooby then tells Cody that he hasn't shown any evidence that would prove Junior guilty, which this results in Judge Pooby finding Junior not guilty, which this makes Junior happy while it makes Cody pissed off because of how "justice wasn't served today".
When they get home, Junior tells Cody that he told him that he wasn't guilty, but Cody says that the judge wasn't there and that he doesn't think that he is a real judge and that he want's to see credentials, but Penelope tells them that the whole thing is just stupid and asks if they can let it go but Cody says no, saying that it was a steel penny and they don't make them anymore. Penelope then asks them "what is this" as she shows them the lint roller, which Cody says that's the lint roller, but Penelope tells Cody to look what's on the lint roller, which this makes Cody happy as he sees that his steel penny is on the lint roller, which Junior says that he must of accidentally rolled up his penny when he was using the lint roller at the beginning to get the cat hair off the couch, which Cody then says that he can take his mad eyelids off, which he proceeds to take his mad eyelids off since he doesn't need those anymore, which Cody says that he feels silly after the whole situation, which Junior says that it was just a big misunderstanding.

- During the Opera GX sponsor, Gengar (a character partially owned by Nintendo) can be seen for a couple seconds. This is likely too minor for them to care about.
- The title is misleading, as Cody's penny was never stolen.
- Cody was seen with mad eyebrows in the thumbnail even though it's only his eyelids.
