Bowser Junior's Playtime is a series which is about Bowser Junior pretending to play house with his friends, Joseph, Cody, and other characters too. Junior and his friends play as a dysfunctional family, with Junior playing an alcoholic father and husband with anger issues, Joseph playing a mother and a housewife that doesn’t like her husband and hates the abuse, and Cody playing as the daughter, “Sally,” who is a typical teenage girl that hates the constant fights her parents have daily and is also a teen mom who gave birth to Phoebe and later married Ken. While pretending to be a dysfunctional family, Junior, Joseph, and Cody’s characters would always fight and argue with each other in every episode, while facing any types of conflict on the way such as unemployment, divorce, alcohol abuse, etc.
The series has a total of six episodes and has been rebooted under the name of “Junior’s BIG Playtime,” which currently has four episodes and uses the human puppets.
Storyline (original)[]
Bowser Junior, Cody, and Joseph all decide to play pretend house from time to time. Junior plays a grumpy alcoholic who has had several DUIs in the past due to his drinking problem. Joseph plays his wife, Josephin, who is constantly fed up with his bickering and his purchases of beer which has caused them to lose money. Cody plays their daughter, a girl named Sally, who is in her teenage years and acts like a material girl. They are sometimes accompanied by Ken, Sally's boyfriend, and Toad, the officer that has a vendetta against Junior.
Early on, Sally gets pregnant at 16 years of age, with Ken becoming the father. Junior's drinking problem eventually leads him to lose his job and cheat on Josephin, with Sally witnessing it. However, Josephin herself cheats on Junior, leading to their divorce. In order to ensure that Ken will be around for the baby, Sally marries him, and also gives birth to her new daughter, Phoebe.
Junior tries regaining his ego but kills Phoebe in the process and sentenced to 1 year of jail. When he gets out, he finds his lawyer, Richard Goodman, taking over his spot in the family. Junior leaves them to start a new life, but Josephin begs him to stay and breaks up with Richard.
The series is on a cliffhanger, with Josephin becoming pregnant with Richard's baby.
