"Black Yoshi's SuperPowers!" is the 489th episode of SML Movies.
Synopsis[]
Black Yoshi gets SuperPowers!
Plot[]
The video begins with Black Yoshi telling Mario that if he gets ten while rolling the dice, he gets $100 from Mario. He got a ten, so he wanted the $100 and Mario denied. Black Yoshi did this because he was hungry and wanted money for fried chicken, so Mario told him to get a job, but Black Yoshi couldn't because of his "disability". So, Mario told him to grab fried chicken from the garbage, but Black Yoshi didn't want to, but he had too otherwise.
He went outside and look at the trash bin, but there wasn't any. There were three pieces of rotten fried chicken nearby, though, so Black Yoshi returned home with the rotten fried chicken. Mario was disgusted when he saw the chicken, but Black Yoshi ate it anyway, then, a bit later, he felt sick and fainted. Mario tried waking him up, but he couldn't, even by giving him $100, so he called a doctor, who was Brooklyn T. Guy.
The doctor arrived, Mario explained the problem and the doctor secretly took his $100. Brooklyn T. Guy was told to check Black Yoshi's pulse, so that's what he did, and felt like he was hot. Though, he was just joking because he doesn't actually know how to check someone's pulse. Mario checked for his pulse and there was no pulse, so Mario told Brooklyn T. Guy to quickly do CPR, but he doesn't know how to do CPR either.
Black Yoshi suddenly woke up out of nowhere and Brooklyn T. Guy left. Mario wanted to make homemade chicken for Black Yoshi, so he was cooking it for him. Black Yoshi wanted the chicken to be done faster, so he unexpectedly shot a laser at the chicken, instantly cooking it up. Mario called the doctor again and tell him what happened when the doctor was searching for money under the couch. Mario explained the situation again. The doctor didn't believe him at first, but once Black Yoshi demonstrated it, he thought it was cool. Mario wanted a fix for it, but the doctor instead wanted to do what Black Yoshi did.
Now that Black Yoshi had superpowers, Mario wanted to know if Black Yoshi could do super speed. In fact, Black Yoshi could. He stole a PlayStation 4 from Best Buy and came back in a couple of seconds. As much as Mario thought it was cool, he wanted Black Yoshi to return the PlayStation 4 for the better, but he refused to return it. So, Mario turned on the news to show Black Yoshi what he should do. Goodman was explaining the news about a purse snatcher and they needed someone with superpowers like Black Yoshi to stop him.
Mario told him to save the woman's purses from the purse snatcher because it was the right thing to do. So, Black Yoshi went outside, and instead, he snatched a purse that was snatched from the purse snatcher. Black Yoshi returned with a blue purse that he wanted to keep because it had money in it, but they both argued because it was wrong to snatch purses. The news talked about an unidentified snatcher of a purse snatcher. Goodman quickly interviewed the purse snatcher and told him that the purses were gone. Black Yoshi had multiple purses on him as well, containing each a certain amount of money. He stole them because of the money available to pay for his "bills", which are actually buying kool-aid and fried chicken. Black Yoshi didn't want to return the purses after being told to do so.
A cop, who was also Brooklyn T. Guy, ringed the doorbell and showed up on Mario's house. He wants to show Mario about the thief of the PlayStation 4, who was Black Yoshi. Mario was making excuses that the PlayStation 4 wasn't stolen. Brooklyn T. Guy showed the footage to Mario of Black Yoshi stealing a PlayStation 4 at a very high speed. The footage was slowed down a thousand times to be able to catch him. Mario asked about the receipt, but Black Yoshi openly admitted that there was no receipt because he stole it. Also, Brooklyn T. Guy asked about the purses that Black Yoshi stole too.
Brooklyn T. Guy wanted to arrest Black Yoshi at first, but then, he had superpowers, so escaping would be easier. So, Brooklyn T. Guy has a plan. Initially, he jokingly whispered at Mario, but then, he told him about the plan, which was tying his shoelaces into one, making it hard for him to escape. Brooklyn T. Guy told him that his shoes are untied, but it didn't work, so Mario demonstrated to Black Yoshi a new gangster way of tying shoes, which was tying his shoes into one.
Black Yoshi wanted to escape, but he couldn't. He could also shoot lasers, so Mario and Brooklyn T. Guy had a new plan, which was telling him that he is under arrest with a plate being in front of Brooklyn T. Guy. He did that and Black Yoshi said no and tried shooting lasers at Brooklyn T. Guy, but the lasers reflected at Black Yoshi, knocking him down. Brooklyn T. Guy wanted to give him 25 spankings, each spanking for his age, instead of arresting him since he would never learn. So, that's what he tried doing, but Mario stopped him because it was too much. Brooklyn T. Guy was kicked out of the house for doing so.
Black Yoshi woke up seeing Mario with his head hurting. His head hurts because he got punished for stealing a PlayStation 4 and multiple purses. Black Yoshi wanted his shoes untied, but only after the stuff was returned. The video ends with Mario slowly returning the stuff and Black Yoshi begging for him not to and untie his shoes.

Trivia[]
- This marks Black Yoshi and the Robber’s first appearances in 2020, as well as the first Black Yoshi video of 2020.
- This is the Robber’s first appearance since “Officer Jeffy!”.
- The puppet that was used for Lydia was the same puppet used for Cody in "Jeffy's Magical Pencil!" when he was turned to a mermaid.
- The question is the same as "SuperPowers!" and "SuperPowers 2".
- This is the first video of 2020 where Mario appears without Jeffy.
- This episode was uploaded one year after "Jeffy Gets Braces!", three years after "Logan Plays Quick Draw!", and five years after "Chef Pee Pee Quits! Part 3".
- Bowser Junior and Precious were intended to appear; however, they were scrapped for unknown reasons. Had this change retained, this would've been Precious' first appearance since Precious the Rapper!, as well as her only appearance in 2020.
Errors[]
- Mario says Black Yoshi is 25, but in "Black Yoshi's Birthday!", it is revealed he was born in October 1992, making him 27. It is possible Logan decided to give some characters like him a floating age while some characters like Bowser Junior or Jeffy will age.
- In the thumbnail, Black Yoshi wears a cape, but he didn't appear with his cape in the video.
- It is likely that the cape was added to reference Black Yoshi getting superpowers as capes are typically associated with superheroes and superpowers.
- Brooklyn T. Guy says he does not know checking for a pulse and CPR. This is strange when he knew how to do so previously in older videos.
- The new thumbnail is missing a letter as it reads "Duggie's SuperPower" instead of "Duggie's SuperPowers!"
