Billy Roberts (also known as Billy Bowling Hands) is a minor character in SML. He was a famous bowler during Brooklyn Guy's high school years. He's never seen in puppet form and only seen in animations.
Appearance[]
Billy Bowling Hands is a buff male, who has a red bowling ball for his right hand, and a blue bowling ball for his left hand. He also wears a white tanktop shirt.
History[]
Billy Bowling Hands was born on an unknown date. He and Brooklyn T. Guy went to the same school with each other.
When he was 10 years old, he lost both of his hands due to a train running them over and cutting them off, causing them to be replaced by bowling balls, which is how he got his nickname and made him better at bowling than Brooklyn T. Guy, because all he had to do was ram his bowling ball hands into the pins on his own (which was apparently legal according to the rules.) This angered Brooklyn into quitting bowling forever, and he went on to do other sports.
Whenever Brooklyn T. Guy joined another sport, Billy also joined, and would continue to absolutely destroy him in all of them, including but not limited to:
- Boxing
- Volleyball
- Basketball
- Badminton
- Future Farmers of America
Death[]
When Brooklyn Guy joined the swim team, Billy also joined and Brooklyn Guy challenged Billy to a swim competition which led to his demise by drowning in the pool, due to his bowling ball hands being too heavy, and therefore weighing him down to the bottom of the pool.
Legacy[]
Following his death, many of his fans were unhappy, and would blame Brooklyn Guy for the cause of his death, even though he did nothing wrong. Both the high school that he attended and the bowling alley also would later change their names to commemorate him and treasure his memories, much to Brooklyn Guy’s dismay.
The above allegations were the cause of Brooklyn Guy promising to never return to the bowling Industry again (until Jeffy Goes Bowling! and Jeffy’s Trophy!)
After Billy's death, his brother Bobby went and cut his hands during woodshop class and replaced his hands with bowling hands to honor Billy. He also went to seek revenge on Brooklyn, whom he blames for Billy's death. He asked Brooklyn if he could clean his car, but he ended up damaging it beyond repair due to his bowling ball hands to avenge Billy.
Trivia[]
- In 'The Ancient Egg,' Billy's real name is revealed to be Billy Roberts in the newspaper.
- He is the sole reason that Brooklyn Guy lacks any teeth, as during a boxing match, he punched Brooklyn with his heavy bowling balls, knocking all of his teeth out.
- Despite this, in future Nicktendo animations that featured Brooklyn after Billy's death, he is still shown to have teeth, although this is likely a mistake.
- In future SML videos with Brooklyn Guy’s flashbacks, the school is still named after him, implying that all of those events happened after Billy's death.
