He first appeared in "The President's Chef!", where he hires Chef Pee Pee to cook for him. He made him a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, which he disliked. He also took Bowser Junior to see some national landmarks. He also appeared in "Turkey Tyranny!", where he makes turkeys illegal because he was attacked by one.

Despite being the president of the United States, he has no idea of the sculptures in Washington D.C and often makes up fake stories of them. He has also stated that he had never been inside any of the buildings. If he has no idea what to say, he says "Uh", as if he did not know. Mr. Dinkle, a Secret Service agent, acts as a bodyguard and secret advisor, possibly because he had been one before Obama was in office. He also prefers Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump, his successor president, as she is also a Democrat. In "Turkey Tyranny!," he said "Hillary would have won the popular vote, but we're not gonna make this political."
