Black Yoshi is playing some Call of Duty when the power went out, turning off his game, making him angry. Back at the kitchen, Boo moves closer to Mario and starts licking him, waking him up. Mario sees Boo and runs away, but the latter starts chasing him. Mario rushes into Black Yoshi's room, which Black Yoshi tells Mario that the power went out.
Mario tells Black Yoshi that he saw a ghost, but Black Yoshi does not believe him. However, Mario is telling the truth, saying he got knocked out. Mario says he can’t find Peach and asks Black Yoshi if he knows where she is. Black Yoshi lies, saying that he doesn’t know where she is. Mario says he’s going to look in the kitchen for her, and Black Yoshi says not to look in the trash can, saying he already looked there. Mario says he’s also going to fix the power then leaves.
