6/10 Hopefully Logan will make better horror-themed videos this month.

Plot: Junior’s pool is haunted.

Positives:

1. The plot is great, when SML does horror-themed videos they turn out great most of the time.

2. The horror elements were great, the camera shot of Junior and Joseph getting dragged into the water was amazing.

3. Cody pointing out horror movie logic was pretty funny at first.

4. The beginning was good.

Negatives:

1. Too many scenes drag on and it ruins the video. Cody and Junior going back and forth on the couch about the pool was repetitive and should’ve been shortened and the Nicktendo animation was mediocre.

2. Brooklyn Guy was pretty annoying, he contributed nothing to the video besides telling another story.

3. Junior was bad, too. His reasons for wanting to go back to the pool were stupid, and the arguments between him and Cody weren’t fun to watch.

Overall, It is underwhelming for a horror-themed video. I hope they improve this month with the videos and produce better horror videos like last year.

5.5/10 Why was this video made? I don’t hate it but what made Logan think about the idea?

Plot: Jeffery Dahmer is brought back to life and causes trouble.

Positives:

1. Lance’s performance as Jefferey Dahmer was great. The deadpan delivery of lines and monotone voice in the scenes he was featured in were amazing.

2. Judge Pooby was good.

3. The ending was ok?

Neutral:

1. I’m mixed in how I felt about the trio. Cody was annoying in some areas, while Junior and Joseph were mediocre in most of their scenes.

Negatives:

1. Aside from Lance’s acting as Dahmer there’s almost nothing to this video. The other attempts at comedy fall flat, the plot isn’t executed well, and the characters aren’t the best.

2. The scene with Jeffrey Dahmer and Bubbles in their jail cell felt forced and unfunny.

3. Brooklyn Guy arresting Jeffy was incredibly stupid and served no purpose.

Overall, This video is only worth watching for Lance’s performance as Dahmer because I promise you there’s barely anything to like about this video.

4.5/10 I’m not too excited about this month anymore.

Plot: Junior becomes a truck driver.

Positives:

1. The drone shots of Junior driving were great.

2. They used Life Is A Highway as the transition music. (One of my personal favorites)

3. The scene with Brooklyn Guy inspecting Junior’s truck was funny.

Negatives:

1. The jokes were extremely unfunny and predictable. A majority rely on the fact that truck drivers are stinky, tired, and have ugly wives that they need to beat up. This reminds me of Jeffy The Country Singer with the way they approached these jokes.

2. Junior was pretty annoying, I didn’t care for the scene of him acting as a truck driver because he was just obnoxious in almost all of them.

3. The plot is terrible. I would've preferred a regular Junior’s birthday video than whatever this is.

4. The pacing was bad too, the scenes dragged on for a while and it felt very repetitive.

Overall, Not the best start to the month. It’s hard to watch SML sometimes when they upload videos like these. The drought of bad videos still continues and I’m hoping we can get a video above 8/10 this month otherwise this year will be officially worse than 2020.

13. The story is beyond predictable by SML standards, everyone was malicious to Cody for no reason and Cody himself was a douchebag to everyone. The ending is so lazy that it infuriates me. It can’t get any worse than this. 0.5/10

12. Take Cody the Vampire an already bad video and make it full length by including more Cody abuse, coincidences every time Cody does an activity, and an ending that makes you go wtf. That’s how you get this video. 0.5/10

11. How the hell did Logan mess this up? No, tell me he had the perfect setup that could lead to an entertaining story but fucked it up by doing unfunny gross-out humor, filler, and having Goodman be a bigger prick than usual. 1.5/10

10. 14 minutes of Junior abuse video by having everyone make fun of his name, laugh at him for the sheer mention of it, and disregard his feelings when they know how upset it makes him feel. 1.5/10

9. I’ve disliked Brooklyn Guy for a while but this video increased my hatred more. He’s nothing more than a petty man-child who does anything to get his way. 3.5/10

8. The main humor for the video comes from the arguing, and while it’s not horrible that’s all we get and it’s underwhelming. 4/10

7. If you want a video that’ll make you crash out here’s the one to watch. 4/10

6. With a generic plot like this I’m not shocked I disliked this video. 4.5/10

5. What is this video about? The AI scenes are laughably bad, the plot is mediocre, and Brooklyn Guy is annoying. 4/10

4. The only thing I like about this video is the facial expressions the characters made while dancing other than that this was mediocre. 4/10

3. The Impractical Jokers segment carried the entire video because the rest of it was Chef Pee Pee abuse and a rehashed ending from April Fools. 6/10

2. I’m baffled myself on why I like this video. The humor was good, the character variety was nice, and Lovell for the most part was funny. 7/10

1. The best video of the month is only 7/10. That is sad. Anyway, Abraham Lincoln was funny and the roasting segment at the beginning was great. I’m shocked this is the best of the month. 7/10

Plot: Cody finds out he’s moving to Chicago

Positive:

1. Judy’s response to Cody pooping on the principal’s desk was funny.

Negatives:

1. Everyone was abysmal here. Cody was a dickhead to everyone, the scenes of him insulting his classmates and not caring about what he said were cringe to watch. Junior, Joseph, Jackie Chu, Pj Crenshaw were also awful. All of them were assholes to Cody and abused him throughout the classroom segments in the beginning.

2. The plot is predictable from start to finish. Yes, I’m aware it’s from Max Keeble’s Big Move and I don’t care because we know the direction the video is going and it’s not pleasant to watch either.

3. The scene of Cody being a cuck to everyone was one of the most cringeworthy moments I’ve seen in SML all year. I got second-hand embarrassment when the realization hit Cody about what he had done.

4. Judy telling Cody they weren’t moving was infuriating to watch mainly because of the plot convenience and since we just saw Cody ridicule everyone and not giving a fuck about it.

5. The ending was beyond lazy. Cody pretends to be a new student and the problem is solved. Yeah, no.

Overall, This is one of the worst new videos of the year. I can’t believe Logan forgot about Junior’s birthday and released this garbage. Honestly, this is the worst appearance of Jackie Chu, Junior, Joseph, Cody, PJ Crenshaw, and the others from this year. Please let Junior’s 16th Birthday be a decent video because there was no winning this month. There are a few exceptions here and there but overall BAD.

7/10 It feels wrong to like this video for reasons that shouldn’t be named.

Plot: Jeffy and his friends go to a Diddy party.

Positives:

1. Lovell’s acting as Diddy was funny for the most part. Aside from the scene in the courthouse he was entertaining and had amazing moments on screen.

2. Junior, Joseph, Cody, and Jeffy were alright

3. I liked the variety of characters used.

4. Diddy’s rap song was fire. The visuals were amazing and the lyrics were fine.

5. Brooklyn Guy arresting Diddy was funny.

Negatives:

1. The plot is um… bad. I don’t mind SML poking fun at current events but some don’t need to be talked about. There were some moments that I found disturbing.

2. Lovell’s acting as Diddy came off as creepy in some areas.

Overall, I shouldn’t like this video. It’s not awful but does this need to be made? I could’ve gone my whole life without SML making this video but whatever.

5/10 This was boring to watch but it’s my 3rd favorite of the month.

Plot: Brooklyn Guy gets robbed.

Positives:

1. The interrogation with Tom Brady was hilarious.

2. Brooklyn Guy and Karen were decent.

3. The Batman transition joke got a chuckle out of me.

Negatives:

1. There needed to be more potential for this video. It could’ve been a fun who dun-nit scenario, but they half-assed the plot, leading to the mediocre execution.

2. The ending was abrupt ( shocking I know?)

Overall, There wasn’t much to this video so I did a short review. I wish they took advantage of the plot because they could’ve done a very entertaining story but they didn’t. Friday has to be good because we’ve only gotten 1 good video this month 😭

6/10 I don’t know why I hated this originally it isn’t bad but not the best thing either.

Plot: Kendrick Lamar makes a diss track about Ken.

Positives:

1. Lovell’s acting as Kendrick Lamar was hilarious. Kendrick only responding with damn was funny and the ending with him writing insults about Cody was great.

2. The diss track about Ken was great, especially when he called Cody a pedophile out of nowhere.

3. Chef Pee Pee, Junior, and Joseph were great.

Negatives:

1. The filler ruined what could’ve been a good video. The diss track doesn’t come until the 8-minute mark which is underwhelming if you think about it.

2. Cody was pretty annoying.

3. The ending was terrible, aside from Kendrick they didn’t have a proper solution.

Overall, It would’ve been better if they had cut the filler and added more to the story. Aside from Kendrick and Chef Pee Pee, there isn’t anything else I can say about the video.

4/10 Can you believe this was uploaded 8 years after Jeffy’s Favorite Song? Coincidence I think not.

Plot: Jeffy finds a song that makes him happy.

Positives:

1. The characters’ expressions while dancing were hilarious because of how stupid they looked.

2. Brooklyn Guy was good.

Negatives:

1. The concept is the most generic cooker-cutter idea they’ve done in a while. You don’t have to be a genius to guess how this video plays out, and they don’t try to add anything new or interesting.

2. Goodman was bad, his mistreatment of Chives was unfunny, and he was just mediocre in the scenes he was in.

3. Jeffy was annoying, his screaming and brattiness were unpleasant to sit through.

4. Everyone saw the ending coming from a mile away. The song doesn’t exist anymore so Jeffy goes to jail for shoplifting. How original.

Overall, This video had the most generic plot and concept SML has done all year. We all knew exactly what was gonna happen. The videos are kinda improving so I’m hoping we can get a better one on Wednesday.

3/10 Oh lord what has Logan done?

Plot: Junior’s real name gets exposed.

Positives:

1. I liked the new classroom design. I know it’s stupid to be positive about but I liked the new changes made.

2. Bowser and Junior were pretty good.

Negatives:

1. The continuity errors can’t be ignored. Junior’s real name is Justin Reynolds. So many past and present videos show his name as Junior, so why change it for an unfunny joke?

2. Joseph, Cody, and Penelope were beyond awful. The bullying of Junior got annoying and the whole ending where they continued to make fun of his name before he just left in rage genuinely made me hate them if we want to be technical they have worse last names than Junior 💀

3. Brooklyn Guy and Jonathan were mediocre, the former told another pointless story and contributed nothing while the other was just annoying.

4. So many scenes drag on that it’s sickening. Every scene that featured Junior getting bullied, Brooklyn and Junior going back and forth on the couch, and how can I forget about the ending?

5. The ending was a big middle finger to the face. We see Joseph, Cody, and Penelope make fun of both names making Junior so mad he leaves in rage. This might be my least favorite appearance of them from this year.

Overall, This was a bad video. Not only does it retcon Junior’s name that’s been well-established for years but a disservice to everyone who’s known him as Junior for years.

One thing I hate about Lovell's characters is that all of them are black stereotypes. Chef Pee Pee and Joseph used to be so interesting, but now all they are is black. I feel like I'm watching the same character since Tyrone has always been a black stereotype, and Toad, to an extent, has, but Chef Pee Pee and Joseph didn't have those elements to their characters until later. Even in 2017-2019 videos when they acted black it'd be for a quick moment and wouldn't be their only personality trait. I want them to flesh out their characters more because it's become annoying.

7/10 My expectations for this video were very low, but somehow, they exceeded them. Good job, Logan; keep it up.

Plot: Junior and Cody go back in time to meet Abraham Lincoln.

Positives:

1. Abraham Lincoln was pretty funny for the most part. The whole flashback sequence was done nicely. I like the black-and-white tint used.

2. The roasting scene at the beginning was hilarious.

3. Junior, Joseph, and Cody were great.

4. Officer Earl was decent.

Negatives:

1. I’ll admit the segment with Abraham Lincoln got repetitive after a while. Don’t get me wrong it was funny but could’ve been shortened.

2. The ending was abrupt.

Overall, Logan stepped up his game and delivered a good video. I’m hoping he can get back to making enjoyable videos because everything from the beginning of September to now was shit. A new video should be uploaded tomorrow. I'm praying it's good.

4/10 When will we get a good video? The last time we had a great video was almost a month ago.

Plot: Brooklyn races his old high school classmate.

Positives:

1. Brooklyn Guy was decent.

2. The concept isn’t bad if executed right it could’ve worked well.

3. The ending was funny.

Negatives:

1. The racing segment was awful, and the amount of plot convenience was just annoying. Brooklyn Guy losing to Tyreek made me mad because the simple solution was there the entire time. I don't get why he’s gonna wait for him to come when he can win this race easily.

2. Tyreek was pretty bad, his talking slow came off as annoying rather than funny. Also, he’s just another generic enemy of Brooklyn Guy who has one trait that’s their whole personality. He reminds me of Cecil the Turtle but done worse.

3. I ain’t gonna lie, I was waiting for this video to finish. The video drags, the jokes are unfunny, and everything is just underwhelming to watch. 8 minutes is spent on the buildup, 2 minutes on the race, then the video ends.

Overall, Tiresome video to watch. Can we get a good video for once? Even bad months have their good videos but there’s no winning in September, hopefully, we can have a decent video tomorrow.

0.5/10 Can you believe this video is 10 years old? The last time I saw this video was around 2018 or 2019 and I vowed never to watch it again until now…

Plot: Shrek makes a wish that turns Mario into a donkey.

Positive:

1. The scene with Woody was pretty funny.

Negatives:

1. Shrek was fucking abysmal, this is his worst appearance from the entire channel because his actions genuinely disgusted me and I wanted this dickhead to get some form of karma, and how can I forget about the scene where he scams Mario out of 100$ so that he can get cheesecake. Fuck you Shrek.

2. The Mario abuse was torture to watch, seeing Shrek trying to ride him and pleas for Shrek to get off of him were terrible and who could forget about the infamous scene I’m about to name?

3. Mario drinking Shrek’s shit is the most disgusting scene to ever come out of SML. I looked away and was gagging throughout that entire scene, only for it to be revealed that Mario didn’t have to do it but Shrek made him because it’s his “karma”.

4. The ending was a big middle finger to the face. Shrek puts Mario through all that torture just because he didn’t bring him toilet paper and has the nerve to insult him by calling him a donkey and bald. If this video didn’t make you hate Shrek I don’t know what will.

5. The plot was terrible, to begin with, and never should've seen the light of day.

Overall, This is one of the worst videos SML has ever made, from the “classic era”. I see why I avoided watching this video for years because it was a challenge to sit through seeing Mario get abused and Shrek having no remorse for what he did isn’t funny. I’m never reviewing this video again. This will be the only instance I’ll talk about this video review-wise.

3.5/10 I want this year to end badly…

Plot: Jeffy enters a Lego building competition.

Positives:

1. The Lego sets were pretty impressive.

2. Johnathan was decent.

3. Babara spanking Brooklyn Guy near the end was satisfying considering how much of a prick he was.

Negatives:

1. Brooklyn Guy was abysmal. Words cannot describe my rage towards his actions throughout the video, this might be his new worst appearance of all time. Also, his reasoning for hating Legos is stupid, and are we gonna ignore that previous videos have shown he loves Legos?

2. The scene of Brooklyn Guy destroying the Legos, then bringing in his own Lego creation so he could take the money is legit one of his worst moments in SML. I’m starting to hate this manchild. He's genuinely my least favorite character in modern SML.

3. The Nicktendo animations were so fucking infuriating all they just prove is how petty and immature Brooklyn Guy is. Seriously, holding a grudge from high school?

4. Mario and Jeffy were mediocre.

Overall, SML is just shit now. There’s no defending these videos, they're damn near unwatchable, the characters are either annoying or stupid, and who can forget the Nicktendo animations. Start over in 2025 because I’m done with this year.

Plot: Junior and Joseph believe Cody’s a killer.

Positives:

1. I like the tint Logan added in between scenes.

Neutral:

1. I don’t care that Timmy is advertising it; I wish they included it at the end rather than in the middle of the beginning.

Negatives:

1. The plot is another misunderstood plot that drags through the entire video. They’ve done these so many times, and each time it gets worse—this is one of the things I genuinely hate about modern SML.

2. Junior and Joseph were abysmal. Their behavior reminded me of “Cody the Vampire” (which had the same setup and ending), and the scene of them accusing Cody of being a killer was beyond awful to watch.

3. Tyrone and Judy were bad too; the jokes about Tyrone getting hard weren’t funny to me, and Judy was mainly annoying on screen.

4. This video has one of the worst endings I’ve seen this year. Cody gets arrested for “killing his mom,” but wait, it’s revealed he was telling the truth, so Junior feels bad but doesn’t try to save Cody from jail instead he ignores it. Logan, you’re asking for people to hate these videos when you create bullshit like this. How are people not going to react? 😭

5. Virtually every moment throughout this video is plot convenience. Penelope coming over, the news segments, Cody’s roughed-up appearance. We’ve seen this happen millions of times before.

6. This video is essentially Cody the Vampire, but as a full-length video, with even more Cody abuse.

Overall, SML has fallen off into the deep end. Shitty video after shitty video, the characters aren’t even enjoyable to watch, there’s so much fucking abuse (mainly for Mario and Cody), and the endings keep getting lazier and infuriating by the second. We’re 3 months away from ending this year, and they’ve gotten worse. Watching newer SML videos is starting to feel like a chore.

5.5/10 I might be alone on this but I did not care for this video.

Plot: Junior and his friends have another Playtime.

Positives:

1. The ending with Toad, Richard, & Patrick beating up Junior was funny despite how long it dragged.

2. The scene of Joseph and Felipe in bed together was great.

3. Joseph’s reaction to Junior throwing the orange juice was hilarious.

Neutral:

1. Why did they bring Timmy back? Don’t get me wrong I don’t hate his character but he’s pretty controversial. He wasn’t too bad but I wished he stayed in the shadow realm of “retired” SML characters.

Negatives:

1. The video drags on forever. The breakfast scene dragged, the segment with Junior as a trashman was boring, and the ending where Junior gets beat up should’ve happened all at once instead of separately.

2. A majority of the jokes weren’t funny, the arguments with Junior and Joseph were repetitive compared to other videos, and the character interactions were meh.

3. The trio were mediocre.

Overall, I don’t have much to say in this review, the video was boring and had very filler-heavy moments, but sadly this is the 2nd best of the month so I’m hoping they can make a comeback because the quality has been shit.

6/10 Goddammit we almost had a great video but they had to add something, an element we haven’t seen in years.

Plot: Jeffy, Junior, and Cody try to be like the Impractical Jokers.

Positives:

1. The Impractical Jokers segment was the highlight of this video. The over-the-top reactions of the cast didn’t get annoying surprisingly, and the responses from the people they pranked were pretty funny.

2. Chef Pee Pee was fantastic, his reaction to Jeffy shitting in his chicken was funny and his behavior reminded me of his older self.

3. Cody and Jeffy were pretty good.

4. Junior getting arrested at the end was satisfying.

Negatives:

1. Unsurprisingly there was a LOT of missed potential. They could’ve had the trio play pranks on different characters with reactions varying or have the pranks they did backfire on them at the end, but no they decided to waste it on Chef Pee Pee abuse.

2. Speaking of which, the Chef Pee Pee abuse was awful, when Junior poisoned him near the end I got flashbacks to “April Fools" because they did the same thing.

3. There’s no need for the characters to break the 4th wall and advertise. It’s in the description and ending card I’m pretty sure people know.

4. Junior was mediocre.

Overall, They fumbled with this video. It had a good concept and started nice then nosedived to shit. I’m surprised at the amount of missed potential and bad videos we are getting because they improved at some point even in the previous years. I can't say the same about 2024. This year is almost over and they haven’t improved at all they’ve gotten worse. I won’t call this the worst month of the year because we’re only 3 videos but surely they’ll end this bad video streak. Right?
