5.5/10 For a 2014 Junior and Chef Pee Pee video, this one isn't half bad; it still isn't good, though.

Plot: Junior gets a genie that gives him three wishes.

Positives:

1. Chef Pee Pee and Junior, for the most part, were pretty enjoyable.

2. The scene of Junior granting Chef Pee Pee's wish was kind of sweet.

3. The line "This isn't heaven; this is hell" had me laughing for minutes on end. The comedic timing in Lovell's voice is just perfect.

4. Toad and Chef Poo Poo were decent.

Negatives:

1. Junior was annoying in some scenes, mainly the ones when he's a dinosaur, because all he did was roar and just be insanely loud.

2. The scene of Junior wishing Chef Pee Pee back was frustrating; even if I found the line funny, I would've preferred if this happened at the end of the video since making it one minute after Junior made the wish felt pointless.

3. The second half of the video is mediocre; the rest follows Junior being a dinosaur and just annoying the other characters, and it gets old fast.

Overall, this video was mid; it started off promising but took a nosedive when Junior used up all his wishes and turned into a dinosaur.

7.5/10 When you see a thumbnail like this, you just think it’s going to be trash, but in reality, it’s actually a really funny and well-done video.

Plot: Jeffy and Junior break into Logan’s house so they can steal his Gold Play Button.

Positives:

1. Jeffy and Junior were both great here.

2. Most of the meta humor was funny. If you couldn’t tell, these jokes are based off the real experiences of Logan, and they’re executed pretty well. Logan getting annoyed with Jeffy’s constant questions was funny.

3. The scene of Junior and Jeffy pranking Chef Pee Pee was entertaining.

4. Lance and Lovell’s reactions to Jeffy’s constant questions were funny too.

5. Logan, Lance, Pablo, and Lovell were good. I just found it entertaining to see them parody themselves.

6. The ending was hilarious; Lovell catching Junior and Jeffy was hilarious, and Logan’s reaction to his Lamborghini being stolen was gold.

Negatives:

1. Even if the jokes were funny for the most part, some of the meta humor was repetitive, mainly the scene with Jeffy asking Logan questions at the door that felt like an eternity.

2. There should've been more scenes of Junior trying to steal the Gold Play Button. Instead of Jeffy asking Logan multiple questions, there should've been a side plot with Junior.

Overall, this is a pretty solid video from 2020. The meta humor worked for most of the video, and it was really entertaining.

6.5/10 It’s a shame this video wasn’t as good as it could have been. The plot was actually creative for once.

Plot: The Halloween candy this year has been poisoned, so Jeffy, Junior, Cody, and Joseph try to get their candy back

Positives:

1. The plot was creative. Normally, heist-themed videos are amazing, but sadly, this one didn’t utilize their creativity properly. 

2.  Chef Pee Pee was fantastic, the joke about everyone not knowing he’s dressed as Wreck-It Ralph was funny, and his reaction to Patrick showing up naked at the door was hilarious.

3. Jeffy, Junior, Joseph, and Cody were pretty enjoyable.

4. The scenes of Junior and Cody getting the candy from the pantry were entertaining for the most part.

Negatives:

1. The filler is what ruined the video. I’d prefer for this video to start with the characters already finished with trick or treating than spend the first five minutes doing so, because aside from a few moments, most of the scenes with them trick or treating were boring.

2. The joke about Brooklyn Guy trying to make everything he says rhyme was annoying, the joke was unfunny, and had no reason to be dragged for this long.

3. The Halloween Heist segment of the video was underwhelming. I wanted to see Jeffy and Joseph involved more, rather than it just being Junior and Cody, plus the ending made the entire video seem pointless. 

Overall, this video was decent; it definitely could’ve been better if they focused more on the heist rather than the trick or treating, but other than that, this video was solid. 

9/10 Not surprising anyone, but this is one of my favorite videos from 2020, and you can tell it was made in that year.

Plot: Someone is an imposter in the SML house.

Positives:

1. The plot is great. This was made when Among Us was really popular, so SML jumping onto the trend was expected, and they executed it nicely. 

2. The character variety here is fantastic. We have the Junior, Cody, Joseph, Jeffy, Mario, Rosalina, Bowser, Shrek, Brooklyn Guy, and Chef Pee Pee all in the same video, and each character was likable and served a purpose.

3. The suspense in this video was great, whale watching. I legitimately didn’t know who the imposter was, so it was nice to see the video build up to it and reveal Chef Pee Pee as being the killer. 

4. Most of the jokes were funny, too. Everyone accusing each other of being the imposter, then throwing out the innocent players from the ship, was hilarious. I also liked the scene where Chef Pee Pee was trying to convince Brooklyn Guy that Junior was the imposter. 

5. The big X’s on the characters’ faces were funny to me for some reason.

6. Like I stated above, the reveal of Chef Pee Pee being the imposter was a genuine shock to me.

7. The ending was good, Brooklyn Guy pointing out that Chef Pee Pee has to be the imposter was funny.

Negative:

1. The beginning felt pointless in my opinion; I’d rather have them jump straight into the video without a four-minute scene of Junior trying to recreate Up

Overall, this is one of the best videos from 2020; it’s very suspenseful and has a fun tone throughout. I honestly wish they made another Among Us video because the execution here was fire.

6/10 Decent video.

Plot: Bowser and Junior get tired of Chef Pee Pee’s cooking so they hire a new chef.

Positives:

1. Gordon Ramsey was pretty good, he had some funny moments here and there, but was overall okay.

2. Bowser, Junior, and Chef Pee Pee were good.

3. The scenes of Junior being fat from Gordon Ramsey’s cooking were funny.

4. The beginning with Chef Pee Pee burning all the food was funny.

5. The ending was alright.

Negatives:

1. Gordon Ramsey was annoying in some areas, mainly during the middle section where he kept talking about lobster tails.

2. The plot is pretty generic. You know how the video is going to turn out so it leads to a lot of predictability.

Overall, this video is OK. It’s pretty forgettable from 2020 but still a decent video regardless.

8.5/10 I miss the days when SML could make a good Black Yoshi Call of Duty video because this one has always been a favorite of mine.

Plot: Black Yoshi gets a loan from Brooklyn Guy so he can buy the new call of duty, but he can’t pay him back.

Positives:

1. The beginning was absolute gold; Black Yoshi popping out of the box to beg Mario for Call of Duty. Only for Mario to send him to Antarctica was hilarious.

2. Black Yoshi was great here. The scene of him annoying Mario was funny like usual, and I liked his interactions with Brooklyn Guy.

3. Brooklyn Guy was good too, seeing him go psychotic over Black Yoshi not paying him back the $200 was entertaining.

4. The scene of Brooklyn Guy interrogating Cookie Monster was amazing. The tone is very dramatic but at the same time it's very comical.

5 "OOOO you nasty, you nasty."

6. The ending was great, Black Yoshi getting chased by a tiger was funny.

Negative:

1. The scenes of Brooklyn Guy asking Black Yoshi for money did get repetitive at times.

Overall, this was a great video . It's a shame they don't make Call of Duty videos like these anymore because the older ones have so much charm and humor that the new ones lack.

6/10 This classic SML short gets so much hate when I think it’s not that bad.

Plot: Junior and Toad bother Chef Pee Pee with Nerf guns.

Positives:

1. Chef Pee Pee was pretty enjoyable here. I liked seeing him get revenge on Toad for shooting him in the eye.

2. Nerf Gang was an alright song. It wasn’t that good, but some of the lyrics were funny.

3. Toad was good.

Negatives:

1. Junior was awful here; not shocking considering he tortured chef PP throughout most of the video and was really annoying in general.

2. Bowser was bad too. He was mostly useless throughout the video up until the ending, when he started to abuse Chef Pee Pee.

3. The ending was terrible. It was just Chef Pee Pee getting abused more this time by Bowser. It was so hard to watch.

Overall, this is an overhated short. I understand most of it consists of Chef Pee Pee abuse, but a few funny moments they have sort of make-up for it.

SML October 2025 Ranked

NOTES:

1. This is the last month I’ll be fully reviewing modern SML. Afterwards I’ll only do the videos that interest me.

2. This is all my opinion.

14. Junior’s Dream Job: This video is a poorly disguised fetish and it’s genuinely disgusting. 0/10

13. Marvin the Hero: Mario was such a scumbag here, I hate whenever SML does a character becomes a hero plotline because they’re just pretentious and massive dick to everyone. 0/10

12. Jeffy the Fly: Filler-heavy and boring. 2/10

11. The Lasagna Halloween: Karen was abysmal here, for some reason she keeps trying to feed Brooklyn Guy lasagna and it’s insanely repetitive and unfunny. 2/10

10. Silence of the Lambs: This video was very uninteresting, the storyline was decent but I didn’t care about the video at all. 3/10

9. The Doordash Problem: Rosalina was very annoying here. I understand it’s a parody of an IRL event but the satire falls flat. 3/10

8. Junior’s 17th Birthday: Junior was a brat throughout most of the video and the jokes about the iPhone 17were really annoying. 4/10

7. Brooklyn Guy’s Nightmare: Meh. 5/10

6. The Prank That Went Wrong: The beginning was very draggy, but the video gets somewhat interesting when it’s about the trio accidentally committing arson. 6/10

5. The Strangers: This was a great horror-themed video. That’s all. 7/10

4. The Broken Phone: Another great horror video; I really liked the character variety. 7/10

2. Friday the 10th: The character variety was amazing and the jokes were entertaining. 8/10

1. Misery: Who’s shocked? This is one of the most creative and entertaining videos they’ve made in the 2020s. Elaina and Pablo’s acting carries this video hence why it’s the best of October. 10/10

2/10 This is the last video of October I’m doing a review on. After which, I’ll only review videos that interest me.

Plot: Karen wants Brooklyn Guy to eat her lasagna, but he keeps giving it away to the trick or treaters.

Positives:

1. Brooklyn Guy was decent

2. The scene of Brooklyn Guy trying to get Christopher Walkitten to eat the lasagna was funny.

Negatives:

1. Karen was so fucking annoying here, the entire video is about her forcing Brooklyn Guy to eat her lasagna, and it’s grating, especially since they do the same formula, which consists of Brooklyn Guy telling Karen he ate the lasagna only to get caught up in the lie.

2. The plot was mediocre.

3. The scenes of Karen catching Brooklyn Guy giving out the lasagna were repetitive.

4. The ending was terrible, it’s just Karen and Brooklyn arguing even more, then Karen beating up Brooklyn Guy just because he refuses to eat her lasagna. Are we serious right now 🤦

Overall, this video fucking sucks; it’s honestly one of the worst Halloween videos we’ve gotten in a while. The others from the past have been mid at best, but this one was genuinely terrible.

As you know I gave up on modern SML midway through October and as a result, I never finished my reviews. Well, I’m not gonna finish them. I’m gonna release the scores and then follow up the post with my final ranking for October.

7/10 This was a really funny video. I miss it when SML could do simple plots, but still make them entertaining.

Plot: Jeffy gets virtual reality glasses.

Positives:

1. Mario's reaction to Jeffy explaining how he got the $500 was funny.

2. The scenes of Jeffy using the virtual reality glasses were entertaining for the most part.

3. The scenes of Jeffy "punching" Mario were funny.

4. Jackie Chu yelling at Jeffy for screaming in the classroom was funny.

5. Mario and Brooklyn Guy were decent.

6. Brooklyn Guy tasing Jeffy was hilarious.

Negatives:

1. Jeffy was slightly annoying in some scenes, particularly the beginning, when he wouldn't stop using the virtual reality glasses.

2. The school segment was boring.

Overall, this video is good; it's simple, funny, and very inoffensive. Though it is a bit forgettable.

7/10 Despite how annoyed I get while watching this video, it’s so funny for no reason.

Plot: Ken gets broken and Cody doesn’t know how to cope with it.

Positives:

1. The slinky scene during the beginning was great, yes, it dragged, but seeing Cody get progressively angrier each time he failed was hilarious.

2. The scene of Ken falling in slow motion was unironically hilarious to me. It’s played in such a dramatic manner that I find it hilarious.

3. Ken’s funeral was funny, Cody’s reaction to Junior burying him over an anthill was hilarious, and

4. All of the in-half jokes were admittedly funny; you know how the payoff is going to be, yet it’s hilarious every time. My favorite instance was when Joseph brought in the black Ken doll.

5. “His little tiny abs, he can never fill the hole Ken left in me. Well, maybe this black one will. That’s racist.”

6. The scene of Junior and Joseph trying to put Ken back together and Chef Pee Pee overhearing their conversation was hilarious.

Negatives:

1. Cody was insanely annoying here; all he did was whine and cry about Ken being broken, which was funny at first, but they dragged it out for so long that it became unfunny.

2. The ending was mediocre.

Overall, this is a good video; it might surprise some because, from what I’ve seen, a lot of people are divided on this video, but personally, it’s very funny. The only things holding it back are the IN HALF jokes (which I found to be funny for the most part) and Cody’s constant crying.

4/10 Sorry for not posting for a few days, I’ve just had no motivation to review modern SML, hence why I’m primarily doing rankings after this month.

Anyway, I wasn’t expecting SML to do a video about the whole DoorDash situation so quickly, sadly it wasn’t that good.

Plot: Rosalina gets a job as a DoorDash driver, and while delivering, she gets flashed by Brooklyn Guy.

Positives:

1. The scene of Rosalina getting flashed by Brooklyn Guy was hilarious, and the over-the-top reaction was accurate (by the way, my stance on the IRL situation is that both sides are equally in the wrong).

2. The Judge Pooby segment was good.

3. Rosalina, Jeffy, and Mario were pretty enjoyable.

Negatives:

1. Brooklyn Guy was really annoying. The jokes about him being in denial about having a small dick were unfunny and dragged out.

2. I feel like there is some potential with this video. The video starts promising with the reenactment of the DoorDash situation loses its steam when the jokes are mainly about Brooklyn Guy having a small dick. I honestly would’ve preferred if the rest of the video were the court segment to determine who’s in the wrong.

3. The scenes of Karen and Brooklyn Guy arguing were really repetitive and unenjoyable.

4. The ending was really weird.

Overall, this video was disappointing. If the jokes were funnier and the story had a much better focus, I would’ve liked this one more.

10/10 Wow. I haven't been rocking with SML these past couple of weeks, but I never thought we would get a video as suspenseful as this one. Seriously, even videos I consider the best haven't had such horror like this.

Plot: Pablo gets kidnapped by an obsessed fan and needs to find a way to escape.

Positives:

1. The acting in this video is phenomenal; Pablo and Elaina's performances are the best acting I've ever seen from them. Seriously, they need their flowers for how well they did here.

2. The plot is great; it's such a contrast from SML's style of videos, but it works so well.

3. The beginning, with Pablo getting into the car crash, set up the tone for the video amazingly.

4. The horror aspect is amazing. The scenes of Pablo searching around the house while Elaina was gone were so suspenseful, and the reveal that she knew Pablo was snooping caught me off guard.

5. The scene of Elena showing that she was Pablo's biggest fan was great. I was not expecting the callbacks to Summer School, nor the history of how long Pablo's been a cast member. Those moments showed how much effort went into this video.

6. There were many funny moments here, mainly from Pablo and his snarky comments on Elaina's actions. My favorite being, "You know goddamn well what's wrong, you left me here with no painkillers."

7. The scene of Elaina breaking Pablo's legs was actually horrifying; the entire moment had me in suspense.

8. The scene of Simmons searching through the house for Pablo was horrifying, too. I didn't expect Elena to shoot him, but when she did, I was on the edge of my seat.

9. Pablo killing Elaina was awesome, the buildup was fantastic, and the payoff was satisfying.

Negatives:

This video is flawless wdym

Overall, this video was phenomenal like I didn't expect them to drop such a banger after having so many mid videos in a row.. I'm still in amazement at how well the cast did.

2.5/10 So I’m skipping the previous two videos because I have no interest in watching them right now. I did watch this one, though, and it was pretty bad.

I don’t have enough to say for a review, so here are some thoughts I had while watching.

- The plot was terrible; it’s a rehash of The Teleportation Machine, which ironically was uploaded the same day as that one.

- The beginning was very repetitive; it was just the characters arguing over who would take Jeffy to school, and it got annoying quickly.

- Jeffy was annoying here. Anytime we have Jeffy act incredibly stupid and tell dick jokes, you’re in for a bad appearance.

- Mario was dumb here, too; he didn't even have a proper reason for not wanting to take Jeffy to school, he avoided it out of sheer laziness, and it was so frustrating to watch.

- Brooklyn Guy was annoying, not shocking anyone.

- The Nicktendo animation was bad.

- Jackie Chu’s reaction to Jeffy as a fly was hilarious and is the only reason why I don’t hate this video.

- The Jeffy the Fly part doesn’t come in til the last two minutes, then the video ended abruptly with no conclusion.

Overall, this video was just a mess; it’s a prime example of why 2025 SML is terrible. The videos barely have a plot, the jokes are unfunny, and 90% of the time, they don't even find a conclusion; they just abruptly end on a dumb gag/joke.

Good evening guys, so I’m making this post to just vent about my thoughts of October SML.

I haven’t been able to finish the last three videos they uploaded (including the one from today) because of how bad they are. Even doing the Instagram stories feels repetitive to me.

I feel like quitting at the same time. I still need something to post because there’s not much. I’m watching right now either. I’m just really frustrated right now I wanted to get something off my chest.

0/10 This year has just been awful; there’s no winning with these videos. They’re just so BAD.

Plot: Brooklyn Guy tries to catch a serial killer named Buffalo Bill.

Positives:

None

Negatives:

1. The plot is so generic

2. The jokes were abysmal. Debra only exists in this video to tell one joke that she’s fat and loves to eat a lot. It’s so repetitive and didn’t make me laugh in the slightest.

3. Brooklyn Guy was pretty annoying.

4. The Nicktendo animation was bad, but I’m sure you already knew that.

5: There was no real reason for the use of AI here; Logan could’ve just used photos of the various puppets he has.

6. The ending was mediocre.

Overall, this video had no redeeming qualities. It wasn’t even offensively bad or anything; there’s just nothing good about it.

1/10 What the actual fuck is this video? It’s genuinely so uncomfortable to watch.

Plot: Junior and Joseph want a job as Margot Robbie’s pedicurist so they can suck her toes (it’s just as weird as it sounds).

Positive:

1. The ending with Junior throwing up after realizing he didn’t suck Margot Robbie’s toes was admittedly satisfying.

Negatives:

1. Junior and Joseph were awful; they were weirdos throughout this entire video. Every scene with them trying to suck Margot Robbie’s toes was disgusting, and the scene of them pretending to be Asian honestly left me speechless.

2. The jokes were so fucking weird, I’m 100% convinced that the feet jokes are Logan and/or Lovell projecting their fetishes into videos because The Break Up, which was released in August, had the same setup as this one.

3. The plot is horrendous; this is literally Logan’s fetish disguised as the video. The dialogue is mostly the characters talking about Margot Robbie’s toes, and it's so uncomfortable to watch.

4. The scene of Junior and Joseph pretending to be Asian was very mind-boggling, to say the least. They definitely cross that line with this joke, but I’m going to leave it at that.

5. The scene of Junior and Joseph getting Cody fired from Subway was so mean-spirited and unnecessary.

Overall, this is one of the worst videos from this year. I was uncomfortable after watching this and did not want to do this review, but I did it anyway because it needs to be talked about. Logan has a foot fetish and is slipping bits of it into his video. I don’t care what anyone says because these aren’t even jokes anymore; it’s a fetish.

4/10 This video is a downgrade compared to Junior The Truck Driver.

Plot: Junior wants the new iPhone 17 Pro Max 2 TB for his birthday.

Positives:

1. Joseph, Cody, and Chef Pee Pee were decent.

2. The scene of Junior opening Joseph’s present and then throwing it on the ground was admittedly funny.

Negatives:

1. Junior was really bad here; he was such an ungrateful brat, and seeing him think that everyone got him an iPhone was really annoying and unfunny.

2. The scene of Chef Pee Pee mocking Junior was terrible. I hate seeing him clown on Junior in these newer videos because of how repetitive and unfunny it is. I‘m tired of his character being a black stereotype.

3. The ending was so random, the whole Money Pants McGee character was plot convenience, and the final scene of Junior not needing the extra storage was dumb.

Overall, this video was mediocre; it’s a downgrade from last year’s birthday video. There’s nothing creative about this one; it’s just Junior being a brat and getting rewarded for his bad behavior.

SML September 2025 Ranked

NOTE:

1.  All of this is my opinion.

12. MaKEN Money: All this video proves is how the trio are some of the worst characters in 2025, especially Cody. 0/10

11. Jeffy’s Cat Allergy: This is just Jeffy Bites His Tongue Part 2. It has the same setup and ending. I hated this one more for how unfunny it was. 1/10

10. Junior’s Heart: If Junior and Penelope are broken up, then why continue to make videos about them? Like, I genuinely hate seeing them together. Why add more drama because they’re broken up? 3/10

9. Jeffy’s Tylenol Problem: The plot was terrible, and the jokes were very unfunny. 3.5/10

8. Jeffy’s Big Effin Piggy: What’s up with all these new videos being half assed versions of old ones? This one is Jeffy’s Teddy bear without the charm or humor. 4/10

7. 99 Nights: This one actually had a good plot, but since this is 2025 SML, the plot gets wasted on a mediocre execution. 5/10

6. The Charleyyy and Friends Mobile Game: I’ve seen a lot of people call this video the best of the month, but I don’t see it. The jokes are recycled from Bowser’s Video Game, and it feels less impressive overall. 5/10

5. The Rapture: The only memorable thing about this video was the scene of Chef Pee Pee beating up Junior; other than that, I don’t remember anything. 5/10

4. SQUID GAME 3 Part 3: I keep forgetting Logan is still doing the SQUID GAME series. Anyway, this was alright. 6/10

3. The Food Machine: This is an idea you’d think they would’ve done in 2017/2018; it's executed nicely for the most part, but still has some 2025 SML elements sprinkled in, mainly the filler. Besides that, though, this video was good. 7.5/10

2. Curious George: Good video. 7.5/10

1. Trapped In School: I’m honestly surprised that this video was my favorite from September. The plot was creative, the stakes were high, and the jokes were solid, and for that reason, it’s the best video of September. 7.5/10
