The video would be a retelling of the story, but with SML characters, and told through a narrator in some parts.

Goodman plans on firing his employees for ai on Christmas, including Tyrone after Cody somehow broke his leg in a way unrelated to cancer, not even he knows how it happened. At night, Goodman is visited by Marvin, who is dead, and who calls up some ghosts to scare Goodman out of spite. The ghost of Christmas past (Jeffy) shows him a tragic past, but it takes him a while because time travel requires a nickel per minute. He is then visited by Christmas Present (Brooklyn) who shows him an ai image of Goodman, which scares him. Finally, Christmas Future (Craig) threatens to burn his money in the future if he does. This convinces Goodman, who starts acting nicer and when Chives asks why, Goodman states the entire story, causing Chives to ask if he’s on drugs.

This has been bugging me and nobody seems to actually answer my questions, so I’m going to try and ask again just to get it off my chest.

A lot of people have been saying that this is a torture video and I don’t know why. The worst that happens to Marvin is he gets his mustache ripped off, but he gets over that quickly and he gets sent to jail, but he gets out before anything bad happens. I don’t know why people say it’s torture, I looked through the reviews, but they just say it in passing and then rant about fetishes, talking with their friend about Big Hero 6, SMG4 gets brought up a lot, I don’t know why, he has more ads and annoying characters than this month’s videos.

This isn’t me trying to chastise anyone for disliking this video, this is me trying to find a middle ground, either I’m underestimating this video or I’m not, I just want to know what in the video was torture that was worthy of this level of criticism.
