Sleepy Jeffy!

Didn't really care to do full reviews of the last few I missed, so I'll just knock them out here.

1: ChicKEN Pox - 4.5/10

A mediocre, poorly assembled video. Not a great start to the year, though there are some great jokes here and there.

2: Cody's Robot - 6.5/10

A decently funny and surprisingly engaging video, though there's a lot of awkward momentum killing cuts in the action (ex; The Miranda Rights song, actually most of the Brooklyn Guy scene) that hamper it a bit.

3: Jeffy The Pool Shark - 7/10

Just a normal good video with funny pool shenanigans. Shoutout Brooklyn Guy and Goodman especially.

4: Sleepy Jeffy - 5/10

Just unremarkable and forgettable.

5: Jeffy Ball Z - 7.5/10

One of the most creative SML videos in a while.

6: Cody's NFT - 6/10

I like how the stupidity of this whole trend is mocked and the weirdness of the plot's latter half (specifically after Cody gets shipped to an insane asylum) appeals to me too. Apart from that, not much to point out.

7: Jeffy Goes To Juvie - 7.5/10

Solid video with spot on jokes, and this is my favorite Brooklyn Guy appearance in a while.

8: The Frog - 7/10

A plot that's so stupid you can't help but laugh at it, and a suspenseful video on top of it.

9: Cody's Gum Problem - 5.5/10

Starts off pretty bad, then actually starts to get pretty funny (though a lot of the gross out still harms the score).

FAVORITE: Jeffy Ball Z and Jeffy Goes To Juvie

LEAST FAVORITE: ChicKEN Pox

OVERALL: 6.28/10 (Decent). Yeah, overall a mixed-positive month for SML. Not everything hit, but the good material was really good and even some of the weaker cuts weren't exactly bad. Not the worst way to start 2022.

It has a bit of missed potential, but I still really enjoyed it

POSITIVES:

+The plot’s good

+The school scene at the beginning was funny

+Brooklyn Guy was really funny here as usual

+Animations aside, the entire “Be Good School” segment was great, and I like how we even got to see characters like CJ and Kody (insert Classic SML Thumbnails joke here) make a return

+I did like the Spongebob time card references in Nicktendo’s animation

+Mario and Rosalina were alright

NEGATIVES:

-Nicktendo’s animations here, while better than every other one of the animations he’s done for Logan (aside from the one he did for Junior’s Wings), were still really not that good

-I expected a bit more to be done with the general concept

Overall, it’s still a great video despite its issues…

God, time flies by fast…

Hopefully his puppet will be done soon and we can finally see him return.

REVIEW

This video honestly has little for me to talk about. I do like the idea behind it, but in practice, the whole thing is a mixed bag. There's some funny material like the entire school scene, and there's a fair bit of crap too (mostly everything after the first arrest scene).

Overall I'd give it a 5.5/10 and an AVERAGE stamp. I'll probably forget about it in a few days.

RATING

This weird segment where I kill time by giving the videos TV ratings has been met with mixed reception so far, maybe I'll go for it one or two more times.

The only major objectionable content here is language with two uses of "suck" and "ass" and one use each of "hell", "f'ing" and "shit". So I'd give it a TV-14-L.

0/10, the world is ending because of this. YouTube is dying, videos are gone, sadness is covering the world. The universe is ending

GOOD:

+Brooklyn guy is good.

NEUTRAL:

~Cody is OK.

~The concept isn't bad.

BAD:

-Rosalina is bad.

-Junior is annoying.

-Jackie Chu is bad.

-Bully is terrible.

-Lots of unfunny, maddening moments.

-Lots of filler.

-The video feels rushed.

UGLY:

--Jeffy is really terrible!

--And so is Mario.

Overall, the video is just plain dogs___ that it is easily the worst of 2022 so far...

2.5/10 - Bruh

Pros:

• Dude, they actually used real fire

• Rosalina was actually tolerable here, no I am not mentally insane

• Jackie Chu was okay I guess

Cons:

• THIS VIDEO IS SO BORING

• Mario pretty much brought the torture to himself

• Speaking of Mario, he was really bad here

• Brooklyn T. Guy was awful here

• Speaking of Brooklyn T. Guy, he and Goodman were complete idiots here, as they just jump into conclusions for no reason at all.

• Was the Cody torture really needed?

• This video gives me vibes of “Locked Out”, “Jeffy’s New Dad” and “Cody’s Evil Twin”

• Jeffy pretty much brought the situation onto himself, had he obeyed Mario, then we won’t have to sit through this boring video

• Lots of dumb and predictable moments

Overall, not only is it the worst video of the year so far, but this is also a boring video that will just be another forgettable video in the future

2.5/10 Logan what the hell

Pros:

+Rosalina was actually good in this video

+Brooklyn Guy was alright

Cons:

-Mario was at his worst here

-There was some filler which is shocking because this video is 8 minutes long

-I didn't really like how Cody was keep on getting hit with the ball

-I thought the fact that Mario and Rosalina going to jail twice and Mario going to jail 3 times was annoying
