Is PJ Crenshaw narcoleptic? If not, why was he homeschooled in the first place prior to his debut episode, and why does he take naps randomly? If he does have narcolepsy, was it used to mock the school bully of Logan's that he was based off of?

To be honest I don't think PJ Crenshaw is cool or a great guy, he's kind of a little bit selfish and rude. Not like Roy but sometimes he can be ignorant, because he beat up Jeffy just for being more attractive than him and he just cried about not being in a party.
Not to forget that he makes fun of people for having a different unattractive possessions, he always seems it for being what it is like he shamed jeffy's car for being lame. No one should shame anyone and that's why he's kind of a rude guy that acts like he's better but he's not.
To be honest bully kind of better than him.

Hello. Basically, I've collected a whole bunch of statistics for a big future project and I decided I could make something fun out of them. So I'm gonna be taking a statistical look at 2022 SML, just looking at the statistical appearance rates of a lot of characters, comparing them to last year and making awards of the biggest changes. So if you like SML and math, keep reading.
Tell me if anything here surprises you and if you'd like to see more. Maybe I'll use this model for past years if this catches on. This is a proof of concept that isn't fully optimized.
Main Character Statistics/Records
First off, the model treats anybody whose appearance frequency is ~30% or more as a main character. Why specifically 30%, because I know characters like Rosalina had about a 30-35% frequency rate in 2016-17, so 30% seems like a statistically perfect cutoff.
While I'm sure there might be some other factors that could be used to determine this, going purely off statistics, that means the main characters of 2022 would be:
Penelope (32.25%)
Mr. Goodman (34.25%)
Chef Pee Pee (40.25%)
Rose (53.75%)
Marvin (58.25%)
Joseph (66%)
Jeffy (67.75%)
Cody (69.5%)
Junior (75%)
Brooklyn Guy (83.75%)
(Note that mentions/Nicktendo animation appearances/silent background cameos in the school videos were not considered. Just about everything else was.)
Not a bad list I think. Anyways on to the awards. Basically this section compares their appearance frequency rates from 2021 with their frequency rates in 2022 and observes all the changes.
New additions
As Penelope's appearance rate has risen from 13.5% last year to 32.25%, she now fits the 30% or above threshold to be considered a main character.
Rises
Penelope - 13.5% to 32.25% (+ 18.75%)
Joseph - 48.25% to 66% (+ 17.75%)
Cody - 56.75% to 69.5% (+ 12.75%)
Junior - 66.25% to 75% (+ 8.75%)
Marvin - 49.5% to 58.25% (+ 8.75%)
Rose - 45.25% to 53.75% (+ 8.5%)
Jeffy - 60.5% to 67.75% (+ 7.25%)
Brooklyn Guy - 81.25% to 83.75% (+ 2.5%)
Falls
Chef Pee Pee - 42.75% to 40.25% (- 2.5%)
Mr. Goodman - 40.25% to 34.25% (- 6%)
Notes/Random Trivia:
The largest rise was Penelope, who appeared 18.75% more frequently in 2022 compared to 2021.
The biggest fall was Mr. Goodman, who appeared 6% less frequently in 2022 compared to 2021.
Chef Pee Pee and Brooklyn Guy's appearance rates stayed the most static, with each only appearing a paltry 2.5% less and more respectively.
Junior appeared in 75% of videos. This is the highest appearance rate he's had since 2014 (85.5%).
Records
Cody appeared in 69.5% of the year's videos. This is his highest appearance frequency rate in the series, beating out his previous best of 67.25% in 2019.
Joseph appeared in 66% of the year's videos. This is his highest appearance frequency rate in the series, beating out his previous best of 61.25% in 2016.
Jeffy appeared in 67.75% of the year's videos. This is his highest appearance frequency rate in the series, beating out his previous best of 60.5% in 2021.
Rose appeared in 53.75% of the year's videos. This is her highest appearance frequency rate in the series, beating out her previous best of 45.25% in 2021.
Chef Pee Pee appeared in 40.25% of the year's videos. This is his lowest appearance frequency rate in the series (from 2014-onwards at least, I haven't done statistics for anything in 2013 or earlier).
Recurring Character Statistics/Records
Anybody whose appearance frequency is 10%-29.75% is treated as recurring, cause I feel 1/10s is a nice spot to split the difference. Off this, the recurring characters of 2022 would be:
Chief - 10.75%
Karen - 12%
Simmons - 14.75%
Tyrone - 16.5%
Jonathan - 16.75%
Judy - 18%
Bully - 18%
Jackie Chu - 26.25%
Not a bad list apart from Jackie Chu dwarving everyone else.
New additions
As Jonathan's appearance rate has risen from 5.75% last year to 16.75%, he is now a recurring character. He's getting more paychecks for his waifu dolls now.
As Chief's appearance rate has risen from 8.25% last year to 10.75%, he is now a recurring character.
Rises
Jonathan - 5.75% to 16.75% (+ 11%)
Bully - 11.75% to 18% (+ 6.25%)
Jackie Chu - 21.25% to 26.25% (+ 6%)
Simmons - 11% to 14.75% (+ 3.75%)
Tyrone - 14% to 16.5% (+ 2.5%)
Chief - 8.25% to 10.75% (+ 2.5%)
Judy - 17% to 18% (+ 1%)
Fall(.)
Karen - 12.75% to 12% (- 0.75%)
Notes:
The largest rise was Jonathan, who appeared 11% more frequently in 2022 compared to 2021. (Jonathan did just debut last year though so if we wanna use a more established character, then it'd be Bully Bill with a 6.25% increase)
The biggest and only fall was Karen, who appeared 0.75% less frequently in 2022 compared to 2021, which almost isn't even worth noting. She also stayed the most static in appearance frequency as a result of this.
Records
Bully appeared in 18% of the year's videos. This is his highest appearance frequency rate in the series, beating out his previous best of 11.75% in 2021.
Simmons appeared in 14.75% of the year's videos. This is his highest appearance frequency rate in the series, beating out his previous best of 11% in 2021.
Notable Minor Character Statistics/Records
Anybody whose appearance frequency is 9.75% or less. I'm not even gonna bother making a full list because that's the vast majority of characters in any given SML year, but I will name a few notable minor characters (as in characters who either used to be more important in the past or are known for their consistent minor appearances). This isn't an exhaustive list below but it is just a trial run.
New additions
As Bowser's appearance rate has dropped from 11.5% last year to 7.5%, he is now a minor character.
Rises
PJ Crenshaw - 1% to 6.25% (+ 6.25%)
Duggie - 1% to 4.75% (+ 3.75%)
Screwball - 1% to 4.5% (+ 3.5%)
Patrick - 4% to 6.75% (+ 2.75%)
Shrek - N/A to 1.75% (+ 1.75%)
Unchanged
Scooter - 1% to 1% (0)
Falls
Craig - 3% to 2% (- 1%)
Richard Goodman - 2.25% to 0.75% (- 1.5%)
Lil T - 4% to 1% (- 3%)
Bowser - 11.5% to 7.5% (- 4%)
God - 7.25% to 2.5% (- 4.75%)
Loan Dolphin - 7.75% to 0.75% (- 7%)
Notes:
The largest rise was PJ Crenshaw, who appeared 6.25% more frequently in 2022 compared to 2021. (PJ did just debut last year though so if we wanna use a more established character, then it'd be Duggie with a 3.75% increase)
The biggest fall was Loan Dolphin, who appeared 7% less frequently in 2022 compared to 2021.
Scooter is the only character reviewed who's appearance frequency didn't change at all, making him the most static by default.
Records
Bowser appeared in 7.5% of this year's videos. This is his lowest appearance frequency rate in any year of SML in the 2014-onwards period and most likely ever, and a 80.5% drop compared to his 2014 rate (88%).
Lil T appeared in 1% of this year's videos. This is his lowest appearance frequency rate in any year of SML in the 2014-onwards period and most likely ever.
God appeared in 2.5% of this year's videos. This is his lowest appearance frequency rate in any year of SML since his debut.
Richard Goodman appeared in 0.75% of this year's videos. This is his lowest frequency rate in any year of SML since his debut.
Loan Dolphin appeared in 0.75% of this year's videos. This is his lowest frequency rate in any year of SML since his debut.

Roy returns and is super mad at Junior and Cody. Jeffy and PJ are not going to stand around for this however.

NOTE 1: Some of these videos' placements might eventually change in a future update as my opinion on them might change after a rewatch.
NOTE 2: These videos are placed in their tier lists not in order of preference, but in chronological order.
Timely is my middle name.
1: No Nut November - 6.5/10
It's alright. That's really it.
2: Charleyyy Gets Arrested - 5.5/10
It's alright but apart from Charleyyy himself (who kinda carried the video), this video is entirely unremarkable and almost feels unfinished.
3: Jeffy's Show And Tell - 4/10
Generic bad SML video, stupid, unfunny halfassed comedy.
4: Junior The Simp - 7/10
Just standard funny Junior antics. The crazy lengths he goes for his love are unexpected and funny and that's really it.
5: Gold Jeffy - 7/10
Another fairly good video that I feel just works like it is. Except the beginning. Not a fan of that.
6: PJ Crenshaw - 7.5/10
This video has a bit of everything. A nice roster, funny idea, clever jokes and even a unexpected, slightly downtrodden ending.
7: Brooklyn Guy's Thanksgiving - 8/10
Most SML Thanksgiving specials are among my favorites of their respective years, this is no exception. Almost every line/joke here is delivered perfectly and the entire video is just full of chaos which I love.
8: The Baby Alien - 7/10
And a fairly good closer. The score might change a bit later but for now I think it's pretty good.
FAVORITE: Brooklyn Guy's Thanksgiving
LEAST FAVORITE: Jeffy's Show and Tell
OVERALL: 6.56/10 (Decent). I'll admit the first half wasn't too great but the second half really more than made up for it. Pretty consistently quality content from "Junior The Simp" onwards and I'm actually fairly optimistic for the future.
List:
August (4.8/10)
May (5/10)
March (5.64/10)
February (5.75/10)

September (6.1/10)
January (6.38/10)
June (6.5/10)
November (6.56/10)
July (6.7/10)
November is just your average month overall. Based on the Animal Farm quote, many of these videos this month has great potential, but some turn out better than others. For example, the last two videos, Brooklyn Guy's Thanksgiving and The Baby Alien have my expectations for these high. In reality, the former failed them and became the worst Thanksgiving special while the latter met or even exceeded them. Anyways, let's go over the ratings of these videos!
No Nut November!: ★☆☆☆☆ (1)
Charleyyy Gets Arrested!: ★★★½☆ (3.5)
Jeffy's Show and Tell!: ★½☆☆☆ (1.5)
Junior The Simp!: ★★½☆☆ (2.5)
Gold Jeffy!: ★★★½☆ (3.5)
PJ Crenshaw!: ★★★★☆ (4)
Brooklyn Guy's Thanksgiving!: ☆☆☆☆☆ (0)
The Baby Alien!: ★★★★★ (5)
Best Video: The Baby Alien!
Worst Video: Brooklyn Guy's Thanksgiving!
Most Exceeded Video: Gold Jeffy! (By +1.5 stars)
Most Wasted Video: Brooklyn Guy's Thanksgiving! (By -4 stars)
Final Month Rating: 5.3/10
When December comes, I hope that month (and the very last video of 2021) ends this year in a high note.
#8: Brooklyn Guy's Thanksgiving! (1/10)
