1: The Old Machine - 4/10
Boring old man stereotypes for 10 minutes.
2: Don't Tell Goodman - 3/10
Laughably lazy writing, awful "comedy" and some cringe thrown in for good measure = basic trash video.
3: Jeffy Almost Drowns - 4.5/10
A video that had potential. Probably would have been better executed 5 or so years ago but as it stands a not terrible but disappointing video.
4: Fat Junior - 6/10
Was expecting a cringe carnival, but while the end result wasn't amazing it was at least passable.
5: The Spelling Bee - 6.5/10
It's fine I guess. A few moments and jokes I could have done without (especially the beginning), but it's serviceable.
6: Jeffy's 17th Birthday - 4/10
Bland and boring as a whole. Sad because it's plotline is anything but bland and boring. Execution just killed it.
7: Jeffy's Permission Slip - 7/10
Only good video of the month. Almost every joke hits, there's lots of them, and I don't really have anything to add.

And a bland, stupid video to end off the month. I forgot about it until I made the list, just bad and not even in a "so bad it's good" way.

OVERALL: 4.8/10 (Mediocre). So yeah, not a great month. Worst since November 2019 actually. It's at the bottom of the list and I don't expect it to be replaced honestly.

Pros:
Brooklyn Guy was good
Nancy, though being unnecessary, slightly saved the video from being bumped down to a 0.5/10
Jeffy gets karma by having the Taco Bell sign get his legs crushed though this is quickly resolved
Cons:
Rosalina was shoehorned into the video
Jeffy was just plain terrible being greedy and mean-spirited as hell in this video
I know they are going to do this annually for Jeffy's birthday, by throwing the cake at the kitchen corner is kind of getting stale at this point

-Even if Black Yoshi/Duggie turns out white as a human puppet, I'll be happy he'll even return, as long as he can still do good criminal gangster jokes and is still played by Lance with the same ghetto voice

I have finished taking a break from watching SML and finished the last 2 videos of August. After all, this month's content set a new low as August becomes the new worst month of SML 2021. They show signs of the impending downfall of SML: filler, annoyance, unfunny, infuriation, wastefulness, all that kind of stuff. But that's not to say that there are a few good videos here. Anyways, let's go over my expectation and reality ratings of the August videos.
