Pros:

-Marvin and Goodman were alright.

-"DAMN YOU CREAM CHEESE!"

Cons:

-The plot is terrible. It's basically the usual Goodman needs Marvin to look after something expensive and Jeffy destroys it trope.

-Jeffy was FUCKING insufferable here. Everything he did in this video made me want to strangle him as hard as possible.

-The scenes with Jeffy crying were goddamn annoying.

-The scene with Jeffy throwing the laptop from the stairs was fucking awful.

-The scene with Jeffy hitting the laptop with a hammer when Marvin came to check if the laptop wasn't broken can FUCK OFF. Jesus Christ, words cannot describe how much that blue helmeted prick pissed me off here.

-The phone call scene with Cameel was filler as usual, although I'll admit Marvin's reaction to Cameel's incompetence made me chuckle.

-BTG and Jonathan were mediocre. The scenes with them arguing were also pointless filler. Speaking of which, while the second half was far better than the first half it was still pretty bad. Basically the first half was infuriating as fucking shit, the second half was boring.

-The reveal that the broken laptop was Richard's laptop was annoying. Of course Marvin went through all that for nothing (I know he had to write Richard's essay but still). Typical Modern Logan and his horseshit writing.

Overall, I'm surprised I didn't rate this video a 0 given how fucking pissed off I was during the first half. Not saying the second half was good, but it was tolerable compared to the first half. Fuck Jeffy in this video, and fuck 2021-2026 Logan's writing even more.

Pros:

-Rose was honestly pretty good for the most part. Seeing her side with Marvin for once in a video where Marvin gets completely abused/tortured was honestly refreshing. I wish Logan had made Rose like that more often in other videos ngl.

Cons:

-The plot is atrocious. Marvin gets abused by BTG for a goddamn misunderstanding, but then it turns out it was for a bet.

-BTG. Just... fucking BTG. This is a bottom 3 appearance from him. He was absolutely fucking sickening in this video. All he did was make Marvin's life hell over a goddamn bet. More on that later.

-Jeffy was mediocre. He was definetly better than BTG but he was also kinda annoying, especially with him crying.

-The scene with Rose thinking Marvin was cheating on her because of a piggy mask was annoying.

-The scene with Marvin and Jeffy arguing about Disney Land and Disney World was also annoying.

-All of the scenes with BTG accusing Marvin of having a bomb were fucking atrocious.

-All of the scenes with BTG doing a cavity search on Marvin were atrocious and disgusting.

-The restaurant scene can FUCK OFF. For plot convenience they add chocolate bomb cake on the menu, Marvin tries to just say chocolate cake but BIG FUCKING SURPRISE: Chives can't read the menu so Marvin is forced to say bomb. Chives freaks out and BTG comes back to arrest Marvin again :D. Wow Logan, just wow.

-The scene on the red couch with Marvin and BTG was fucking atrocious. Seeing BTG constantly accusing Marvin of having weapons because of some random things he said made me wanna punch so hard.

-The scene with Jeffy telling BTG what happened was annoying. First it dragged for too long, second it had BTG being a dick like he was for the whole video.

-The ending might have been one of the biggest middle fingers in the show. So it turns out that BTG did all of this shit to Marvin not because of a dumbass, but because of a bet with Simmons to do 4 cavity searches to 1 person on the same day. I am absolutely speechless...

Overall, if anyone would ask me when did BTG's downfall start, I'd say it started with this video. Sure, he had some pretty awful appearances in the past too and 2021 hasn't been his best year, but I don't recall him being so scummy. For me this video started his downfall.

-Chef PP, Junior and Joseph were decent ig? Not enough to save this disgrace of a video from getting a 0 tho.

Cons:

-The plot and concept are awful. Cody accidentally knocks out Chef PP, thinks he killed him, keeps hiding the body and lying to his friends. Bravo Logan.

-Cody was FUCKING atrocious here, and I feel like that word was to kind. Holy fucking shit, everything he did here made almost me happy he got tortured in Cody's Wisdom Teeth, because fuck me. Everything he did here pissed me off one way or another. 2014-2020 Cody would have never acted like that. Seriously Logan, fuck you from the bottom of my heart for what you did to who used to be my favorite character.

-The period joke at the beginning was absolutely disgusting. I can't believe I only noticed it now, honestly that scene is up there with Cody turning everyone gay in a certain 2025 video.

-HOOOOOOOLY SHIT, the ENTIRE scene with Cody lying to Junior and Joseph about what happened can fuck off to hell and back. It's already bad enough that Cody just lied about what happened when he could have told the truth considering Chef PP getting knocked out wasn't his fault, but the fact that the scene lasted 4 FUCKING MINUTES is unforgivable.

-The scenes with Braxton telling Junior to do his chores in the same places Cody hid Chef PP's body was plot convenience at it's finest. News flash Logan, no one is laughing.

The scene with Cody strangling Joseph was absolutely atrocious. First of all it had Cody turn into a psycopath for the plot, second of all it had the daddy joke and you know how I feel about those.

-The last few minutes of the video, while nowhere near as bad as the rest of the video, were still a chore to watch. Seeing Cody get away with everything he did was pretty annoying.

-The ending was bad.

Overall, this honestly might have been my angriest review yet, and I doubt any review will be angrier than this one. But that's beside the point, fuck this video, fuck Cody, fuck Logan, fuck 2021-2026 SML, just fuck everything and everyone. Worst SML video of 2021, a bottom 10 (if not 5) SML Video and one of the worst YouTube videos of all time.

8/10 While weaker than Rich Santa, this was a fun Christmas special, despite it's flaws.

Pros:

-Very good concept.

-The beginning was really good. Buddy's reaction to not being a real elf was funny, and the scenes with Papa Elf were pretty cool (also I like how Anthony's son was included in the flashback).

-Buddy was great here. Lance did a pretty good job playing as him.

-Marvin and Rose were good.

-BTG was decent.

-Goodman and Miles Finch were both really funny here.

-The entire meeting scene was fucking hilarious. Some may disagree, but that was my favorite part of the video. Anthony's acting was great as usual, Goodman yelling at Marvin and evicting him was funny, and Marvin yelling at Buddy and kicking him out was also well done.

Cons:

-Jeffy was mediocre here, he was just there to do unfunny jokes.

-Why the FUCK did Logan have to bring back the blumpkin joke from the genie video?

-I'll admit the pacing is a bit slow in some parts of the video.

-The ending was abrupt ngl.

Overall, this was a really enjoyable video. Honestly Lance and Anthony's acting is what made me enjoy this video so much. It's just a shame that Jeffy had to make some unfunny jokes, this would have been a 9 without him.

Pros:

-Let's get the obvious out of the way. Harold Santa was FUCKING phenomenal here. Almost everything he said made me laugh a lot (I don't remember laughing so much over an SML video in God knows how long) and him like a rich jerk towards BTG was really funny, unlike other characters when they turn rich (Rich Mario). Honestly, I think Harold Santa might be my second favorite SML character just behind Ronald.

-The plot and concept are cool.

-The beginning scene at the gas station was enjoyable.

-Goodman was great here. His commentary thrroughout the video was pretty funny.

-The courtroom scene was great mainly because of Santa.

-A lot of lines made me laugh. Some that come in my mind are "He doesn't like coming inside, well unless it's one of his many many prostitutes" "Fuck em" "Let's play a game, hide and go fuck yourself" "Back to your car, wee wee wee all the way home piggy".

-Pepper was enjoyable.

-The scene with Santa and Pepper getting pulled over by BTG was hilarious, mostly due to Santa's commentary during said scene.

-Marvin was decent.

-The casino scene was great. Goodman and Santa's reactions were pretty funny.

Cons:

-I'm still not a fan of Logan using AI. I get it was used for like a second but still...

-The ending was mediocre.

Overall, this was such a fun video to watch and if the Christmas videos are gonna be so good, it's gonna be because of Harold Santa. I'm so glad Logan didn't get rid of him

1.5/10 August 2021 is not looking good so far...

Pros:

-Rose, Jeffy and BTG were decent.

-A couple scenes made me laugh.

Neutral:

-I'm extremely mixed on the scene with Marvin and Chef PP ruining the food. On one side it had Marvin and Chef PP being pricks for no reason but at the same time it reminded me of Zombie Bowser which I think is kinda underrated.

Nitpick:

-This stuff normally doesn't bother me, but did anyone notice that when Marvin and Chef PP "heard" the doorbell when BTG was at the door there was no doorbell? Again, this stuff doesn't normally bother me, but at the same time it just shows how rushed this video was.

Cons:

-The plot is just horrific. One of Rose's exes saves Jeffy from drowning, Marvin gets jealous and tries to make his food gross, thinks he's killed him and tries to cover up for it. Absolute fucking cinema.

-The title is a pure cashgrab. This title was done for views and that's it, considering Jeffy appears in the video for like the first two minutes.

-Marvin was FUCKING atrocious here. I used to think he was bad in this video, but not as bad as other people said (The SMR considered this his worst appearance). But now that I think about it, he might be right: yes, he was actually worse here than in Jeffy's New Stepmom and Mario Sells Jeffy.

-BraD was mediocre. He wasn't bad or anything, his jokes were just kinda stale.

-The scene with Marvin being jealous about BraD was annoying.

-Chef PP was also pretty bad here too. He wasn't as bad as Marvin, but he was still pretty annoying and he also contributed to trying to make BraD sick just for money so...

-The scene at the dinner table with Marvin, Rose and BraD was boring.

-The joke of the surfboard being stuck on BraD's hand was pointless.

-The scene with BraD choking on his food and Marvin making fun of him (before thinking he was dead) was fucking insufferable. I never thought Marvin would stoop this low tbh, I get he didn't mean to kill him but still.

-The scene at the front door with Marvin, Chef PP and BTG can fuck off. Marvin and Chef PP constantly lying to BTG about BraD was so FUCKING annoying.

-I forgot to mention how this is basically a pure rehash of Jeffy Gets Ran Over and another few videos. While a bit better than Jeffy Gets Ran Over, this video still has the annoying trope of x kills y and makes up a bunch of excuses and lies to the police. Oh God I just remembered Cody's Accident comes up soon: not excited for that at all...

-The ending was shit. It's revealed that BraD never died, and even if he had it wouldn't have been because of Marvin and Chef PP destroying the food, but because of food allergy. Fuck off.

Overall, while 2021 has improved a bit in the second half, it doesn't change the fact that it was the year we saw the true decline of Logan's writing. And this video here is a prime example of it.

Scrolled through the new video. More than half of it is at the kitchen table. I try not judge a book by it's cover but let's see what everyone else says.

If we are Rose hating in the big 25 I think it's time to pack it up gang. Other than being whiny at times, has she really done anything that bad? If anything, I can see her being an actual likeable character but characters like Brooklyn Guy won't let her. It feels like Logan is trying so hard to dunk on Rose that when she has become a better character he still decides to treat her like trash. In fact with all the jerky things he does (saying "DUH" when she says someone's at the door, not stopping Brooklyn from being mean to her and whatever the fuck Marvin The Hero was) Marvin has become a worse character. Also, Marvin legit actually cheated on her.

-The scene with The Chief not recognizing BTG at the ceremony was pretty awful.

-Jeffy was mediocre. He didn't do much but the scene with him crying was so annoying.

-Marvin and Rose were both atrocious here, ESPECIALLY Marvin. Both of them acted like braindead idiots for the sake of the plot.

-Simmons was pretty bad too. He was just as stupid as everyone else.

-The phone call scene with Marvin and BTG was absolutely awful. Marvin saying BTG has a mustache voice as his motive to why he thought it wasn't BTG calling him might be one of Marvin's worst moments in the show. He is not THAT stupid.

-Rose accusing Marvin of cheating was annoying.

-The scene with BTG taking off his fake mustache and putting it back on to test Marvin and Rose was pure filler.

-The ending can fuck off. Not only did it have Karen turn dumb for the sake of the funny, but it was also abrupt af.

Overall, this video is proof to how bad Logan's writing got in 2021. There's really nothing much else to say, this is one of the worst episodes in the whole show.
