It defintley solos locking your posts, plus what if people wanted to say stuff they haven't had a chance to say on the post, locking your posts over that is stupid

I personally both see why and why not to do it, even if it doesn’t do any harm personally.

Well I do kind of understand, such as when I made an End Marvin Torture post and someone commented months later that “Marvin wasn’t tortured at the end of Jeffy’s Yes Day” and someone decided to lock the post before I could explain myself, but it’s understandable why people don’t like getting notifications for comments on posts that are months old.
